00:22They're going to pull away the moment that you need them the most.

00:26They're going to shut down and somehow they're going to make you feel like you were the problem.

00:34Here's what's going to happen.

00:35You're going to start to doubt yourself.

00:37You're going to shrink.

00:37You're going to try to be easier, quieter, less emotional.

00:42You're going to be thinking, maybe if I do that, they're going to stay.

00:45But here's the thing.

00:46Nothing ever feels safe with them.

00:48Because no matter how much you give, how much you love, they're never or rarely going to take responsibility for the pain that they cause.

01:00It's not your job to fix someone who refuses to fix their own wounds.

01:05It's not love if you're the only one doing the emotional heavy lifting.

01:11And just because they're suffering, that does not mean that you have to suffer too.

01:17Because you deserve safety.

01:18You deserve consistency.

01:20You deserve someone who meets you in the middle.

01:23Not someone who disappears when you need it the most.
