00:12Nearly eight months after announcing his wrestling venture with the late Hulk Hogan,

00:16Eazy-E held the league's inaugural freestyle wrestling event on August 30th at Cleveland's

00:21Wolstein Center, attracting 4,500 fans. RAF will launch its two-hour weekly show in 2025.

00:30Its first two events aired on Fox Nation, with RAF03 set for November 29th in Chicago,

00:35and RAF04 on December 20th in Fishers, Indiana. Real American Freestyle has featured WWE stars,

00:43including Kurt Angle, who commentated RAF's debut and RAF02 with Bubba Jenkins,

00:48Bo Nickel, and Juliana Pena. Speaking to Action Network in a new interview,

00:53former WCW president Eric Bischoff revealed that he reached out to former WWE superstar

00:58Gable Steveson with a pitch to join Real American Freestyle Wrestling.

01:03Gable Steveson is one of the first people that we talked to, Chad, Bronstein, and Izzy Martinez,

01:08and Ian Hulk. When we first got together, Bischoff said.

01:12While planning to dominate freestyle wrestling at Chad's house, they first reached out to Gabe.

01:18We had a long conversation with him. He was very interested in working with us,

01:22competing with us, but he was still kind of weighing his MMA options,

01:26and I think he's found the correct course for himself, and is pursuing that.

01:30But at some point, you know, once he gets his MMA rhythm going, we hope to see him on the map.

01:36Gable Steveson signed with WWE in 2021, debuted in-ring in 2023, and was released in May 2024,

01:44reportedly due to lack of progress, despite a high-profile endorsement from Stephanie McMahon.

01:49Gable Steveson joined the NFL's Buffalo Bills in May, but was released in August,

01:54then transitioned to MMA, winning his first two fights.
