00:00There's no evidence the Macrons ordered Candace Owens' assassination.
00:07U.S. conservative influencer and podcaster Candace Owens has accused French President
00:12Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte of paying for her assassination in what she called an
00:18urgent ex-statement, which has garnered more than 40 million views.
00:22Owens has been leading the international fake news campaign which alleges that Brigitte
00:26Macron is in fact a man, leading the Macrons to file a defamation suit against her in July
00:322025.
00:33The conservative influencer provided no credible evidence to uphold her statements, alleging
00:38that a high-ranking employee of the French government had contacted her, revealing all.
00:42The person supposedly revealed that the green light for the operation had been handed to
00:46a small team in the elite tactical unit of the French National Gendarmerie and one Israeli
00:52national.
00:52The Gendarmerie's unit has denounced these allegations as fake news in media reports.
00:58Owens also brought Xavier Poussard, another key figure pushing conspiracy theories about
01:02Brigitte Macron being a man, into the picture, claiming that he was also at risk of being
01:06killed.
01:07Owens went on to state that Tyler Robinson, suspected of having killed the conservative activist
01:12Charlie Kirk during a rally in Utah in September, had trained with the French Foreign Legion.
01:17The allegation gained further traction after Telegram's controversial owner Pavel Durov described the
01:22allegations as plausible.
01:24But a spokesperson for France's Ministry of Armed Forces told Euro News that Robinson has
01:28never been a member of the Foreign Legion.
01:31Here Owens accused the French Foreign Legionnaires of involvement in Charlie Kirk's assassination,
01:36stating that after the French Legion and U.S. Marines carried out a joint training exercise
01:40in California, they held another one in Minnesota, a state Kirk was due to visit later on his tour.
01:46The French Armed Forces told us that there was no Foreign Legion training in Minnesota in the
01:51period Owens claimed.
