After a grueling season, the final four teams have made it to TJ's Final. While battling exhaustion, the players must complete grueling runs, mind-numbing checkpoints and the ultimate temptation to become Challenge Champions. And that's only day one.

00:00Hi everyone, it's Chenso from Reality Art Pod, here to talk about the Challenge 41, Vets and New Threats, Episode 15, titled The Best Birthday Present.
00:07Last week on the Challenge, players were diving through Mieswamp for puzzle pieces.
00:11When Ashley and Leo were deemed the dead last losers, they were defeated in elimination against Housevote, Sydney, and Turbo.

00:31But let's dive into it.
00:32Back at the house, Nani gives Turbo huggies for winning the elimination.
00:36Sydney feels like the whole house, wants she and Jeremy out of the game.
00:39Anissa and the UK Alliance continue to trash talk Ashley.
00:42Anissa reminds us that she's had a rough season, dealing with the drama with the other vet women.
00:46The Alliance numbers are tight, with four teams in the American Alliance and three teams in Olivia's UK army.
00:51Turbo suggests that the Americans let the UK Alliance win the daily, since the winner can't vote, so they can vote a UK team into elimination.
00:58The next day, players get to FaceTime.
01:00I nearly fell out of my seat when I saw Jenna Campano pop up on my screen.
01:03Pregnant, probably parked right in front of her uncle's bakery.
01:06Jake calls his dad, who I think is a natural redhead.
01:09His parents blow out a candle for him.
01:10Tomorrow is his birthday.
01:12Theo gets to see his son.
01:13That's nice.
01:14They head to their daily.
01:15Dirty drifter.
01:15Each team will have a driver trapped in a van, covered in chains.
01:18Their partner needs to untangle the chains and hook their van up to a big rigged truck.
01:22The truck will then drag the van as the driver steers, trying to clear obstacles.
01:26For every obstacle they clear, they'll shave down some time.
01:28The team with the best time will be safe, and slowest goes straight into elimination.
01:32Justin and Nani go first.
01:33He's powering through, but struggling with the heavy-ass chains.
01:36Nani gets to driving.
01:37This is pretty intense and probably terrifying.
01:39The van almost flips over, but Nani clears all but one obstacle.
01:42Will gets up there doing those chains.
01:44Nani is gooning on the sidelines.
01:46She asks for them to put this in slow motion, which they sadly do.
01:49Olivia gets to driving, and she quickly flips the van.
01:51Pregnant woman flips van.
01:53Jesus, take the wheel.
01:54Jake and Anissa have Anissa up there doing the chains.
01:57Jake says he wants to drive because he doesn't trust Anissa to do it.
02:00For a minute, Anissa looks really cool.
02:02Until the show clowns on her, scoring her with silly music.
02:04And Justin makes comments about Anissa's ankle.
02:07But she finishes the chains.
02:08And after all that work, Jake doesn't follow the directions and completely messes up the drive.
02:13Anissa is way more understanding than I would be.
02:15I'd be pissed.
02:15We have Adrian taking up the chains.
02:17She's doing a great job.
02:18But Theo starts fiddling with the chains and trying to help Adrian,
02:22while TJ repeatedly yells at him to stop.
02:23TJ tells Theo after like 10 touches, if you do it one more time, you're DQ'd.
02:27And he touches the damn chain.
02:29So they do get DQ'd.
02:30And Adrian is pissed.
02:31But again, not as pissed as I would be.
02:34We montage through Aviv, Mikayla, and Sydney all doing the chains, looking badass in the process.
02:38In the end, the top two teams are Justin and Nani and Will and Olivia,
02:42with the winning team being Will and Olivia, who finally worked well together in a challenge that required no teamwork.
02:47And last place are Theo and Adrian, who are heading straight into elimination.
02:50TJ is still pissed at Theo, and he chastises the players for playing to be in the middle.
02:55TJ is always hating the players, not hating the game.
02:57Back at the house, the Americans are happy to have the voting advantage,
03:00with Anissa and Jake the most likely vote as the only option left from the UK alliance.
03:04Anissa's plan is to flip the American votes to try to get the group to vote in Aviv and Yaremi instead.
03:09Jake tells us that not getting voted in would be the best birthday present.
03:12And oop, he said the thing.
03:14But who cares about Jake's birthday wish?
03:16Players are going to the club, where Jake does get served a decadent slice of rich chocolate cake.
03:21Remember when they would go to the club and drink Fireball?
03:23Jake tells us he's playing for his dog Lenny, who he uses to attract the yummy mummies.
03:27Theo and Adrian work it out.
03:29They're back on the same page and ready to work together.
03:31Aviv encourages Theo, which annoys Cedric and Mikayla.
03:34They're tired of the fake behavior.
03:35Mikayla wants Aviv out, and soon.
03:37Anissa tries to campaign for Nani's vote, but Nani's like,
03:40Anissa, come on.
03:41We haven't been working together, but Anissa still tries to guilt Nani into keeping her.
03:44Nani feels that Anissa's playing the victim, and put herself in this position.
03:48So Anissa's not getting that vote.
03:49So this campaign is looking like a lost cause.
03:51Yaremi tells Sydney he's feeling paranoid.
03:53She encourages him to remind Cedric and Turbo that they made a final three alliance ahead of the vote.
03:58So they head to nominations, where yet again no one stakes a claim.
04:01What a flop that's been.
04:02The votes go as expected.
04:04Everyone votes for Anissa and Jake, besides Anissa and Jake, who vote for Turbo and Sydney.
04:08Aviv is dressed as Jeeper Creeper's daughter.
04:10As she makes a speech that continues to ride the fence.
04:12So Anissa and Jake will face off against Theo and Adrian in the arena.
04:15Later, Aviv is crying hysterically.
04:17A little much for safe.
04:18Nominee Anissa coddles her.
04:20Even Aviv's friend Nani feels like Aviv is being fake.
04:22Mikayla tells the other Americans that Aviv needs to retire.
04:25They head to elimination, where they'll be playing loose ends.
04:28Each team has a spool of electrical cables.
04:30It's pretty simple.
04:31They need to unspool the cables, and wrap them around logs to plug them into their three inputs.
04:35The first team to plug them all in wins the elimination.
04:38They get started.
04:39A pretty fair matchup between these teams.
04:41I thought the spool would spin, but they need to throw the cables over the spool over and over.
04:45And they can get tangled.
04:46Aviv and Nani are cheering Anissa on from the sidelines.
04:49Anissa and Jake work well together.
04:50And Theo and Adrian, a bit more messy.
04:52Getting tangled up more.
04:53And Theo is gassing out at times.
04:55Adrian and Theo continue to miscommunicate.
04:57She gets mad and storms away.
04:59But Theo starts listening to Adrian.
05:00And they do start plugging in their cables.
05:02As Anissa and Jake seem to be stuck.
05:04And Theo and Adrian do eventually win this elimination.
05:07So this ends Jake's time on the challenge.
05:09Someone who I thought would do well.
05:10He was the forefront in a lot of the promo material.
05:12But he ended up being such wallpaper and irrelevant to the story of the season.
05:16Besides being a member of the UK alliance and being a loyal partner to Anissa.
05:20In my opinion, too loyal.
05:21He should have staked his claim at some point and tried to go for a better partner.
05:24Throughout, he was saying that Anissa was the best partner in the game.
05:27And that's just not true.
05:28Like, come on now.
05:29I get that these love islanders have experience getting backlash for everything they do.
05:33But he was more focused on looking like the nice guy than being a competitive challenger.
05:37Ultimately, it was his screw-up in the daily that nearly had them in dead last.
05:40And he got played out of the game.
05:42Losing this elimination on his birthday.
05:44Which must really suck.
05:46I wouldn't mind seeing him again.
05:47I think he's pleasant.
05:48And I'd rather him over someone who annoys me.
05:50But where's the entertainment?
05:51And this ends Anissa's time on the challenge.
05:53I'm impressed that she made it 15 episodes on such a competitive season.
05:57I have complicated feelings about Anissa because I used to be a rider for Anissa on early,
06:02early seasons.
06:02And I feel guilty and disloyal not standing her and rooting for her now.
06:06But the show doesn't even attempt to give us hope that she's gonna win.
06:09She had some story this season falling out with the veteran women over her continued drama with
06:13Ashley, losing their loyalty in the game, and ending up putting herself in the UK alliance
06:17because she was so close to Olivia.
06:19But is she really so close to Olivia?
06:21I just don't understand why she can't just play a social game, float in the middle,
06:25and allow herself to get dragged to a final.
06:27There's no reason Anissa should ever be voted into elimination by her competitors.
06:31Even the other players acknowledge how stupid that was.
06:33But she really just played herself out of the game with her own poor strategy.
06:37In a post-ridiculousness world, I wish MTV would make a new show,
06:40like Traders or Big Brother where these popular characters can play a game that's not so athletic,
06:45so Anissa can move on to better things.
06:47But that's all I have to say about this episode.
