How To Find The Right Grip Size

00:00The only connection you have with a golf club is in the hands and the grip so it

00:04it needs to be correct you need to have the correct grip thickness to suit your

00:09golf swing. We establish the right grip thickness by again measuring doing a

00:14measurement so we measure your overall hand length and measure the longest

00:18finger and then when you're gripping the golf club what we want to see is that

00:21the fingers are just touching the pad of the palm without digging in too much. If

00:25you see there's a bit of a gap then the clubs to the grips too thick. If you

00:30know gap and the fingers are really digging into the palm a little bit then

00:34the grip is too thin so we want to go thicker. The result of those things would

00:40be that if a grip is way too thin your hands can get a little bit too active

00:44and you can start hitting a shot with a hook or hitting it left. If it's way too

00:48thick your hands aren't working correctly and you're not getting the club head

00:52squaring up and so the ball can stay out to the right. We do six different grip

00:57thicknesses from something that's quite thin to like a jumbo size.
