00:00In joining Romo, what were your initial conversations with Alfonso like?
00:03I know there wasn't a script attached, but what drew you to this project and what do you guys think?
00:07Well, it was a long auditioning process and I didn't know who the director was going to be until the end of the process.
00:15And then I met Alfonso for the last audition and then one more time with Yalitza and me together.
00:23And then I had a very long conversation with Alfonso about his mother.
00:28He told me everything about her, like when the children were born, how was their relationship with his father,
00:38when the Lebo, the real Cleo, entered their lives and what that meant to the family,
00:43that they actually went and lived with Sofia's mother, well, Cristina's mother.
00:48That's the house where the story takes place. It's the grandma's house.
00:52So he told me all the story and then he stopped just at the moment where we were going to start filming.
00:59And we did this in chronological order.
01:01So he didn't say any more. He just stopped there.
01:04And he told me, you're having trouble with your husband.
01:08You know that he may leave.
01:11You know what's been happening.
01:13And that's where it started.
01:14So that first scene where Sofia enters the house just to have lunch with the kids,
01:19she already knows what's going to happen.
