"Pelangi di Mars" is the latest Indonesian science fiction film directed by Upie Guava, projected for release in 2026. Set in the future, the film depicts Earth experiencing a severe clean water crisis due to corporate monopoly.

The story centers on Pelangi (Keinaya Messi Gusti), a 12-year-old girl who holds the unique status of being the first human born and raised on Mars. Conflict culminates when the human colony on Mars decides to leave the red planet and return to Earth. However, Pelangi, feeling that Mars is the only home she has ever known, chooses to stay. Accompanied by a unique group of loyal robots, Pelangi embarks on a perilous adventure across the Martian landscape in search of a rare element called "Zeolith Omega," believed to be the solution to water purification for humanity.
