00:00Outrage! Hulu's just-released Astroworld Festival documentary series gets pulled just hours after its release.

00:07On December 1st, the streamer Surprise released an ABC News special, Astroworld, A Concert from Hell.

00:12The Hulu synopsis read,

00:14Travis Scott's Astroworld Festival was supposed to be the concert of a lifetime, but it turned into a tragic nightmare.

00:19A minute-by-minute look at what happened in the crowd, the young victims who were killed, and what happens next.

00:24But the doc was quickly met with backlash from viewers who called the move insensitive.

00:28One person wrote on Twitter,

00:30Hulu making a documentary about Astroworld is in poor taste all around.

00:34People are still burying their loved ones.

00:36The legal cases haven't even started.

00:37Great documentaries are done when all the facts are laid out.

00:40Not enough time has passed to fully discuss this.

00:42Another added,

00:43The Astroworld concert from Hell doc on Hulu puts blame on concertgoers not caring.

00:48No type of structural analysis, and they didn't interview the RN who said medics there were undertrained,

00:53understaffed, and HPD was useless.

00:55It seemed directed by Live Nation Travis Scott himself.

00:58Ten people lost their lives as a result of the November 5th deadly crowd surge.

01:05on Monday, Megan Thee Stallion canceled a hometown Houston show slated for Friday, December 3rd,

01:10telling Billboard in a statement,

01:12Houston is still healing, and it's important that our community be given the appropriate time to grieve.
