00:00Chelsea fans are already buzzing about teenage sensation Stavall,
00:06whose rapid rise at Stamford Bridge has drawn praise from club legend Roberto Di Matteo.
00:12The Brazilian forward signed from Palomiras last year for a fee reportedly rising to €57 million
00:18has been described as magnificent by Di Matteo, who even likened him to former Blues winger Iron
00:24Robben. Stavall's journey to the Premier League has been carefully managed. Although Chelsea secured
00:31his signature last year, he remained in Brazil for the 2024 season, allowing him to continue his
00:37development at Palomiras. There, he scored 27 goals in 83 games and collected silverware,
00:44including the Campeão Brasilia Serie A and the Paulista in 2024. Internationally, the 19-year-old
00:52has already earned 11 caps for Brazil and netted five times.
00:57The teenager's debut at Chelsea came against Crystal Palace in August and he quickly captured
01:02the hearts of supporters. He announced himself in style last month, netting the winner late
01:07against champions Liverpool. Di Matteo praised the forward's maturity and technical ability,
01:12saying he's certainly fresh face and looks very young, but his level and maturity are quite
01:18frightening, said the former midfielder and 2012 Champions League winning manager.
01:24He's fast, mobile, unpredictable, smart beyond his years and a bit like Iron Robben.
01:29It's a great signing and I think Chelsea can win the Premier League,
01:32with him as a star player in the coming seasons.
01:35Despite early comparisons to Lionel Messi, Stavall prefers to focus on his own name,
01:44neither from my family, never liked that nickname. He says,
01:47you just want to play football and want to do what you love. Those labels can be pressure you
01:52didn't ask for and thankfully I was able to leave it behind when I moved to Palomiras.
01:58With his dazzling pace, his eye for goal and his ability to perform on the big stage,
02:03Stavall is fast becoming one of Chelsea's most exciting youngsters.
02:07Fans at Stamford Bridge are already dreaming of what the Brazilian can achieve in the blue of London.
