00:00The National Dairy Authority, or NDA, launches the first-ever NDA stock farm in General Tino Nueva Ecija.

00:06This is part of NDA's target to increase local milk production by 5% in 2028 from the current 2.3%.

00:14The NDA stock farm will serve as government breeding and development center for cattle and goats.

00:19It has 15 hectares foliage area to plant cattle feeds.

00:23This is also where feedstocks will be processed using a baler machine.

00:27750 pregnant cattle are expected to arrive in the country until January for the interbreeding to increase the local population of milking cows.

00:36The same process will also apply to goats with aging population.

00:40The D.A. has already coordinated with the Department of Education for a milk feeding program in schools to help provide nutrition to students.

00:48The Department of Agriculture is eyeing to build 16 dairy stocks in each region in the country.
