01:52two nice taglines

01:59to be the 28th member
02:01of EU by 2028
02:03and the second one was 26
02:05chapters by 2026
02:07so that was back
02:09then, now it's a little bit less but
02:11we are gunning for
02:13closing all the chapters by end of next year
02:15and I think
02:17we have a really great chance
02:19to have a new member state
02:21in the mandate
02:23of this European Commission.
02:26So when you talk about enlargement
02:27there are two dimensions
02:29to this issue. There is the
02:31technical criteria
02:32that you all
02:33fulfil
02:35and then there is the
02:37political will.
02:39Now, so far
02:41there hasn't been a decision
02:43yet
02:44when
02:45Montenegro
02:46will be accepted.
02:47Do you fear
02:49that there are still
02:51some powers
02:52at work here
02:53that could
02:54derail
02:55your accession
02:56to the EU?
02:57Powers that you have
02:58no control over?
02:59I think that
03:01technical side
03:02like when you first
03:03mentioned
03:04is extremely important
03:06so
03:07never to be forgotten
03:08that we
03:09need to do
03:10our fair share
03:11of the tasks
03:12and we have to be ready
03:13for the entrance
03:15and
03:16it's in our own interest
03:17it's in the interest
03:18of the
03:19whole
03:19union
03:20because obviously
03:22we want
03:22once we join EU
03:24we want to add value
03:25we don't want to
03:26detract value
03:27so
03:28we want EU
03:29to be richer
03:30with our sin

03:32truly what we
03:33really believe in

03:35with all the reforms
03:36that we are going to do
03:37with the
03:38economic growth

04:10but we cannot relax

04:13very very focused
04:14on the great relations
04:16with all the 27
04:17member states
04:18obviously
04:19you know
04:19like
04:20there are member states
04:21that are
04:21that are a little bit
04:23more conservative
04:23towards the enlargement
04:25as a concept
04:26so we have to work
04:27very hard
04:28on those countries
04:29they're
04:30they're the ones
04:30that are very focused
04:31on the rule of law
04:32and obviously
04:33Balkan
04:34Balkan countries
04:35traditionally
04:36have
04:36have been
04:37you know
04:38focused in terms
04:39of that
04:39so we have to
04:40we have to do
04:41absolutely
04:42you know
04:43we've done a lot
04:44of reforms
04:44as evidenced by
04:45the interim benchmarks
04:46last year

04:47as

04:48chapter 5
04:49that we closed
