تاشکند میزبان کنگرهٔ بین‌المللی «آسیای میانه: میراث مشترک معنوی و آموزشی – آیندهٔ مشترک» در مرکز تمدن اسلامی بود؛ رویدادی که نمایندگانی از قزاقستان، قرقیزستان، تاجیکستان، ترکمنستان، جمهوری آذربایجان و ازبکستان را گرد هم آورد.
