00:00It was an incredibly impressive victory that they were reaching, and what was the story?
00:07Well, a great day. We enjoyed, I enjoyed every minute of it, from the preparation,
00:13since the moment that the players come back from international duty.
00:17I sense a feeling that they wanted to be together again, that they were ready for a fight,
00:22they were ready for a big week, and the preparation was tough.
00:26Then you have to deliver it, obviously, with the energy that our people brought to the stadium.
00:31It made a huge difference. I think, individually, the players were exceptional from the minute one.
00:36We were super dominant in almost every phase of the play.
00:39So, yeah, a day to remember. You don't win a Derby 4-1 every time,
00:44and hopefully we made a lot of Arsenal supporters very proud and happy.
00:49Could you sense that Eze really wanted to kind of almost own this occasion?
00:53Because, I mean, the Arsenal Spurs rivalry reached the sort of freedom in the sun,
00:58but his kind of statement performance in those goals...
01:01Things happen for a reason, and after the international duty, he had two days off,
01:06and after one day he wanted to train, and he wanted to improve,
01:10and he wanted to do extra practice.
01:12And he was asking me questions about this and that.
01:14And when a player has such a talent, and his desire is at that level,
01:18then these things happen.
01:20And he fully deserves that. I'm so happy for him,
01:22because since the day that he came, he brought something else to the team.
01:25Certain joy, certain aura that this team needed,
01:28and now hopefully we'll give him a lot of confidence to him and the team,
01:32and at any moment he can win us a game.
01:34And that's the ability that he has, and he certainly needs to fulfil that talent.
01:38Tom, Football London.
01:40I'm Mikel, it's felt like one of Leo's best performances as well,
01:44and with so much noise and talk around him in the summer,
01:47and then taking a game like that by the Scroft,
01:50it really felt like he took things to a new level.
01:52Yeah, for me no, because for me it was forbidden for him to live.
01:56No chance, I know the player that he is, and surrounded with the players that we have,
02:00he's a player that is going to make a difference for us.
02:02I fully agree, it was one of the best games,
02:04so aggressive with that we've done the ball, so effective,
02:08he could have scored another one or two goals,
02:11and he was involved in so many positive actions.
02:13So that's what we need.
02:14As I said, I think individually the players were excellent today.
02:17James, CBS?
02:19Mikel, could you just reflect on Ebert's quality of just pulling the trigger?
02:22He takes a lot of shots and maybe, was that something you were missing last season?
02:26Someone who just sort of sees the ball and hits the ball?
02:28Yeah, and it doesn't have to be perfect.
02:30It can be right, left, ball on the ground, bouncing,
02:33ball at this height and he takes it.
02:35And he has such a quality and capacity to finish actions in different ways
02:40that we need to play very close to the box,
02:43because apart from that obviously, for example,
02:45the ball that he put to Declan in the second minute I think it was,
02:48to play him through and create a big chance is exceptional.
02:51We need to play him in his qualities,
02:53the more he spends time there, the better for the team.
02:56Ed, Guardian?
02:57Just on Ebbs, he's obviously had an amazing year,
03:00won the FA Cup for Palace and has got his dream move.
03:03Do you sense in him a sort of desire to keep going,
03:06keep achieving stuff and winning things?
03:08Yeah, well that's what he showed from the beginning.
03:12And when he picked up the phone, I remember last summer,
03:15he said he wanted to play for us and he wanted to be part of this team.
03:20You can really sense that.
03:22And hopefully he can enjoy today and tomorrow he's ready for Bayern Munich.
03:27You talked before about the importance of capitalising on the weekend
03:31to where your rivals lose.
03:33I mean, just how important is this result in the context of Liverpool and City?
03:37Yeah, and especially after the Sunderland game,
03:39that at the end we lost two points in the last kick of the game, basically.
03:43And we went to the international break with that bitter feeling
03:47because we didn't concede any goals and we had ten straight wins
03:51and we wanted to get back to earning that momentum again
03:54and the London Derby and today's performance.
03:57It's a good start.
03:58Six points clear, what does that mean?
04:01In this league? Not much.
04:03That we are doing really well, that we've been really consistent
04:05and that's it.
04:06I mean, when you look at the results, whether they win or lose,
04:10the difference in the scoreline and actually what happens in games
04:14is really small.
04:15We know that we need players back immediately today.
04:19We got Noni back on the pitch, which is great,
04:22but we're still missing a lot of important players
04:24and we're going to need all of them.
04:26The good news is that we lost Big Gabi, which for us is a massive blow,
04:30and Piero comes in and I think he was fantastic from the beginning.
04:33David from Desert Cassidy.
04:35Hi.
04:36When you look at the team
04:38and you look at the performances you guys are continuing to put on,
04:41what are you most happy about?
04:44What do you think is making the difference between you and the rest of the group so far?
04:48Well, I don't know.
04:49From looking at our team, it's the application, it's the energy,
04:53it's the desire to be the best version of themselves every single day.
04:58That's what I sense.
05:00And some days we are better and some other times not that good.
05:04But the willingness and the desire to win and be there,
05:07it's without a question for me the biggest attribute for this team.
05:11And finally from Frida from Absandadis.
05:13Interesting movement from Michael Marina on the pitch.
05:16How important was his performance today?
05:18Yes, I think it was incredible again.
05:22And we are asking him to feel as a nine and he's not a nine
05:26and to do a lot of the things that a nine has to do.
05:29But he's such an intelligent player and his work ethic
05:33and his desire to contribute and make others better is that big.
05:37And at the end those performances give you all the right reason to continue to trust him.
05:42And finally again from Mikel.
05:44Just on Mikel Marino, do you get irritated when he's described as defensive given that?
05:51I don't know.
05:53A defensive nine.
05:55Okay, well, thanks a lot.
