01:10while ago i think it was like 15 years ago i thought so cool being in this music video like it was so
01:14much fun okay we were lucky to work with you so i got to direct this short film um and it was also
01:22a music video for this band um called best coast look at miranda and it was all 19 sort of 50s inspired
01:29west side story um and i mean you were such a big deal like i don't know how we got to do this with
01:43my god i was so excited to get to meet you and work with you and you were so fun on the set it
01:47was awesome yeah it was such a good memory i feel like you are someone who promotes a lot of positivity
01:54from having done this your whole life yeah for the most part i would say i've got i've been really
01:59lucky in having a pretty good experience with starting so young because i'm from l.a and i started
02:06acting or auditioning when i was three so i feel like i've made all of my closest friends through like
02:12getting to do different projects and um yeah i'm really happy that i got all these opportunities
02:17it's like i feel lucky and as a mom i have these two daughters and we sit around and we watch i carly
02:24and i'm like i know her just saying i got to work with her you know did you ever like did you ever get
02:33a sense that like what you put out into the world with i carly was great like that kids were empowered
02:42from it yeah i mean it's amazing anytime i go out somewhere and kids come up to me even now because
02:47the show's on netflix so it's just amazing like being 32 and having kids still come up and say oh we're
02:53watching the show right now like finding it for the first time and it's a really good feeling and is
02:58it true that maybe a movie because the show left on a big cliffhanger yeah and is it true that maybe
03:05there's a movie in the world yes i'm excited we're going to film a movie early next year
03:12well guess who will be there me and my girls will be there like opening day okay so this new film of
03:23yours the wrong paris i really really enjoyed it it is it takes some twists and turns it's got
03:32something uh that i i didn't see coming how did you plan that and also he's so cute i know he and
03:41he's so cute it's crazy but i was going through a breakup right before i filmed this movie and he's
03:47such a nice guy we're really close friends now but he let me post him on my stories and pretend we were
03:53kind of like obviously i didn't say we're dating but i posted him and i know that that really
03:57upset my ex i love that and it's just it's it's cute and fun and a nice way to handle it
04:05yeah i'm all for it it was great maybe you can give me some tips oh definitely you can borrow pearson
04:11if you ever need him i mean it's like the story's so fun it's you want to go um you you actually are
04:20an artist and you need this money to go to school and your sister is like i know how you can get the
04:29money from like a kind of bachelor type of show um that she's obsessed with you're like that's so not
04:37your scene you're kind of a you know you're an arty person she's like reality show and then again it
04:44takes really unexpected twists and turns it does we definitely we don't end up in the paris that my
04:50character had hoped that she would end up in you also the end doesn't go where i thought it was
04:56going to go yeah i feel like it's a little bit of a i don't know surprise and a satisfying surprise
05:02i hope so but it was so much fun i'd never been in a rom-com before and you're like the queen of rom-com
05:06so oh my god you were so excited to be in one well you watch this you mark my words this will be a
05:14thing because you know i mean look at people who have come and done these types of movies they garner
05:20an audience and then that very filmmaker place is like you know what really worked well for us
05:25that so let's do more of that would you be open to doing more rom-coms yeah i would love to be in
05:32more rom-coms like you don't even know how many times i've watched like music and lyrics or 50
05:37like i love your movies they've gotten me out of like sad times in my life and made me like so happy
05:43again this is going to work so well and you did it so brilliantly you guys you can catch miranda in
05:50her new movie the wrong paris it's on netflix and i just have this prediction that there are going to be
05:56many more to follow because this is going to work and it's going to be so great and people are going to
