00:00This is what? It is. It's called Let Me Go. The reason I love it, the reason I love it is that when we were writing it, which was in a flat, my flat, in just off Blumberg Grove in a place called Locks and Gardens. It was number 95, Locks and Gardens, if you want to pay pilgrimage tomorrow. It's not that far from here, maybe kind of 20 minutes more.
00:22But the reason I love it is that we got out to get sandwiches, myself and Ian Marsh. We came back and Martin was playing his chords. And we was going, oh, that's nice, that's beautiful. It's got a little melody idea as well. It's kind of like humming the melody. It's fucking beautiful.
00:38So we started to write the song, the track, and it was gorgeous. It stayed the same throughout the demo stage. Then we went into Townhouse Studios, which again is just down the road from here, at Shepherd's Bush.
00:52And we recorded it with the producer, and it sounded the same. It was gorgeous. Then we had an orchestra come and play with it, and it still sounded the fucking same. And it was still gorgeous.
01:05And that's why I love it, because from conception to finished the article, it was brilliant, and it was lovely. I still love singing it today. My favourite song to sing is called Let Me Go.
01:22Once there was a day, we were together all the way, and in this town, I'm broken.
01:52But now there is a time. The torture must survive. Our tools are locked and frozen.
02:10Once you really use the head back down, I'll start to death. Let me go. Let me go.
02:17I walk alone, and yet I never say goodbye. Let me go. Let me go.
02:36Let's change your heart, change your mind. Heaven felt the night. Let me go.
02:42Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. Let
