00:00Good morning to all the media, all the public who came here in a big crowd to come and support.
00:14I really didn't expect that a lot of people would come and support for this because I wasn't expecting.
00:25When Mr. Arun told me, let's do this for the last time for prasana.
00:31I have done so many what I could do legally all these 16 years.
00:37But everybody knows, until today, prasana is not with me.
00:43As everybody knows, today I brought prasanas, baby clothes, teddy bear, just simple things still with me.
00:52I have not seen her for 16 years. This is injustice to me.
00:57I have fought legal battle for almost 16 years and the battle is still going on.
01:03When is this going to stop? When I am going to see prasana?
01:08This could be my last chance to battle for her.
01:14So thank you so much for coming today to support this course.
01:19Ladies and gentlemen, we are all here because we are angry.
01:22We are angry because it has taken more than 16 years and we cannot see results.
01:27People, if you are not satisfied, you go to court. Why you go to court? Because you are not happy.
01:32But I am getting the necessary decision yet, you cannot see the proofs of the litigation.
01:37It was not easy. In 2009 when we started the case with our able lawyers,
01:42Shandonga, Enche Fahri, and Aston Bawa, and the most important is Mr. Dato' Whitey Lingam
01:54who actually called me one day and said, look, can you get this case?
01:58I had no hesitation. It was tough. The journey has gone through.
02:01But then you may also think, I am also in the government. Why am I here?
02:06I am here in my capacity as member of parliament for Ipoh Palat.
02:10I have been an MP for more than 20 years.
02:12Mr. Indra Gandhi is also from there. There were hundreds of days I drove her.
02:18A number of times I drove her to Putrajaya. A number of times the Court of Appeal, Federal Court,
02:23come back, go back, come back, go back. But there are certain things that are moving.
02:27If you remember, Indra, some 10 years ago, we had a similar work in Ipoh.
02:31We had a work, certain things moved after that.
02:33We had a justice for Indra Gandhi and Prasara.
02:37And at that time, the women group all joined us.
02:40It also matters to us.
02:42And we are very grateful that it has gone through so much.
02:45But to me, as a lawyer, I think there are two things that are very important and so clearly.
02:51For one, when the person who is accused, which you did was on the run,
02:56if he can collect SARA, if he can collect weekly monies, mana dia.
03:02Mana dia.
03:04Mana dia.
03:05The government cannot say they cannot locate.
03:07And I'm sure there are mechanism.
03:09There are mechanism. I hope he can be found immediately, arrested and brought to justice.
