00:01You're no stranger to award shows. You were nominated for a few breakthrough
00:04awards after the success of Elite. If you could share just a little bit on how
00:08Elite changed your life. This experience was life-changing in a way where I grew
00:13up so much as a person. I was 21 when I started. I learned so much as an actor.
00:18It opened so many doors for me. I met so many cool people. I got to travel to so
00:22many places and just amazing opportunities. I'm just grateful. The
00:26most challenging part I guess is just being exposed. It was a little bit
00:31weird at the beginning. I'm grateful that I have a really nice family. I have a
00:34really nice group of friends and I just kept that so close to me and I feel like
00:39that helped me a lot to keep my mind sane and just focus on what's really
00:46important here which is my career as an actor. I feel the love so much and it's
00:51just amazing. I'm really grateful. In a couple of weeks will be the Cannes Film Festival.
00:55I was there last year. I saw you on the carpet. Describe what that experience was
00:59like for you. It's one of the most famous red carpets in the world.
01:02It was surreal. I was so so nervous but as I said like I couldn't imagine like a
01:08better first time. For me Pedro Almodovar is just one of my favorite directors ever
01:14and I've always felt really connected to his work. I've never thought in a
01:18million years that I will be at Cannes with him in a project with Pedro Pascal, Ethan Hope and seeing them
01:25working together and how professional they are, how amazing actors they are. I've
01:30learned so much in so little time. I love fashion. I've always loved it and Saint Laurent
01:35is also one of my favorite brands and as an actor having like clothes that really
01:41puts you in the mindset of the character. Everything fits super well. People can
01:45notice that and also the actors are like super connected to the performance just
01:50because of the clothes. So for me it's really important. You have Breathless coming
01:54up. Seeing you in Hospital Scrubs is a new experience for your fans. Tell me who
01:59you play and your experience shooting that. It was such a different experience for me
02:04as an actor. Just get into the mindset of a doctor but I think it's gonna be a
02:10really cool show. We talk about really important topics. We're gonna give a lot of
02:15visibility to important stuff and also the cast is amazing. We have to do surgeries
02:20and all of that. It's so complicated and we wanted to make sure like doing as much
02:26as we could. Obviously there was like experts that were like helping us and
02:31stuff but I learned a lot and it's just so tough. So so and mentally draining.
02:36Working with Almodovar was my biggest dream as an actor so now I just want to
02:42keep hopefully working with him again someday and just like keep doing
02:46different roles. Keep working with like cool people and just keep learning. I'm
02:49really young and and I'm just so excited about the future.
