03:44Let's begin with the broader economic perspective.

03:47How do you see this award and recognition

03:49is very significant to industry players and the overall economy?

03:54This Appreciative Award is to honour and to recognise the investor who invested in Selangor.

04:02And we would also like to take it as a platform to thank all the investors

04:07that invested in Selangor,

04:09to thank them for their contribution towards the growth of the economy in Selangor.

04:14So, I also look at this award as the networking session

04:18for the industrial players, for them to get to know each other.

04:22I think this is a very good platform to connect all of them together.

04:26And we know this recognition doesn't stand alone.

04:29How does this recognition align with Selangor investment long-term strategy?

04:34And because through this kind of appreciation award,

04:41we can reinforce the position of Selangor being the gateway to ASEAN.

04:47And Selangor is well-connected.

04:49Infrastructure is well-connected.

04:51And we have a lot of good infrastructures.

04:53We also have a very effective government agency in Selangor

04:58and that will help all the investors to ease their way of doing business in Selangor.

05:06So, I think this is another strength that we have in Selangor

05:11and we will have to promote this to all the potential investors.

05:14And to sustain the strength and momentum is not easy

05:17because the investor is always looking, what's next, what's big.

05:20So, moving forward, what are some of the policies or initiatives

05:24that we can expect from Selangor to maintain its position as the most preferred investment?

05:29Selangor is the only state in the country that has the five-year plan.

05:33So, at this moment, we have Rancangan Selangor pertama of Selangor first plan.

05:39And very soon, we will be launching the Selangor second plan, Rancangan Selangor kedua.

05:46In this plan, we spell out clearly all the potential initiatives,

05:51all the potential projects and the policies that we're going to have in the next five years.

05:57I think this is very important.

05:58This kind of five-year plan is very important for the investor

06:01to know before they make the final decision where to invest.

06:06They need this kind of information to plan for their investment.

06:12So, this is the only state that we are having this kind of five-year plan

06:17and it helps them to make the right decision which state is the best destination for their town investment.

06:25We know this is a recognition award given to all the industry payers,

06:30the companies that have been driving the success in Selangor.

06:33But for the new investors, seeing this award, seeing this recognition,

06:37it was planning to invest in Selangor.

06:39What would you say there?

06:40I think this can serve as the encouragement to all other potential new investors

06:45that Selangor is a premium business hub, not only in Malaysia actually.

06:51It is the premium business hub for this region.

06:54And you can see from the statistics that over the past few years,

06:58we are receiving more and more high impact, high value,

07:02as well as a high-tech company investing in Selangor,

07:06choosing Selangor as their investment destination.

07:08So, this tells everything about the potential of Selangor becoming the regional investment hub.
