La NASA pubblica nuove immagini della cometa interstellare 3I/ATLAS  La NASA ha diffuso immagini ravvicinate della cometa interstellare 3I/Atlas, il terzo oggetto noto proveniente da un’altra stella. Dopo il passaggio vicino a Marte, a metà dicembre si avvicinerà alla Terra prima di tornare nello spazio interstellare. 00:45it in our observations. It's obscured by the dust and especially it's obscured by the reflected

00:51sunlight off of the dust in the inner part of the coma. But what observers from the ground

00:57have been able to do is observe the brightness of the center of the comet over time to see

01:03if there's a modulation of that brightness that would be an indication of rotation. And

01:09it's very difficult to discern. So what it's looking like so far is that there's not a big,

01:18the shape of the nucleus is not very far from being round. It doesn't seem to be a big, at

01:22least we're not seeing signatures of a very elongated object yet.
