00:00Well, pretty soon, Southern Tier residents may be able to see Binghamton in a new light featured on the big screen.
00:05A new film's title, Stationed at Home, is set right here in Binghamton on Christmas Eve in 1998.
00:11According to the film's website, the film is the latest work by director and writer Daniel Muschiari.
00:17The website notes the film is stationed around a taxi driver on the graveyard shift who is awaiting a mysterious space sighting.
00:23Fox 40 was able to visit the set tonight and see some of the scenes in action.
00:27I mean, the thing that we're most proud about is not just bringing movies and industry and obviously economic growth to the community,
00:35but that everybody's on our side and is supporting us and it's making it that much easier.
00:40And everybody in Binghamton has been fantastic.
00:42They've shot a lot of really awesome local locations that everyone watching from the area will recognize.
00:48And it's Binghamton through and through.
00:50So I'm looking forward for everyone to see it and for the film to shine a great light on our community.
