Granddaughter of police crash victim slams trial acquittal

The granddaughter of a woman killed by a police outrider while escorting the Duchess of Edinburgh, says the police are ‘above the law’ – after jurors at the Old Bailey acquitted the officer of causing her death by careless driving. 81-year-old Helen Holland died in hospital two weeks after being struck by the police motorbike in May 2023.
