00:00I think it's difficult for any government to stop speculation about a budget happening before budgets are published,

00:06but it's not for me to write the Chancellor's speech.

00:09But she'll be presenting the choices that she is making on behalf of the government to invest in our public services.

00:15And it's precisely because of the choices that the government has made that we're seeing increased investment in defence

00:22and increased investment in our National Health Service, two priorities that I know the British public share.
