00:00Mr. President, Mr. President, is it appropriate, Mr. President, for your family to be doing business in Saudi Arabia while you're president?
00:06Is that a conflict of interest?
00:08And, Your Royal Highness, the U.S. intelligence concluded that you orchestrated the brutal murder of a journalist.
00:149-11 families are furious that you are here in the Oval Office.
00:18Why should Americans trust you?
00:19And the same to you, Mr. President.
00:20Now, who are you with?
00:21I'm with ABC News, sir.
00:22You're with who?
00:23ABC News, sir.
00:24Fake news.
00:24ABC fake news.
00:25One of the worst in the business.
00:28But I'll answer your question.
00:29I have nothing to do with the family business.
00:32I have left and when I, I've devoted 100% of my energy.
00:35What my family does is fine.
00:37They do business all over.
00:39They've done very little with Saudi Arabia, actually.
00:41I'm sure they could do a lot.
00:43And anything they've done has been very good.
00:45That's what we've done.
00:46We've built a tremendous business for a long time.
00:48I've been very successful.
00:50I decided to leave that success behind and make America very successful.
00:54And I've made America more successful by far than it ever was.
00:58And that it ever could have been, no matter who was president, there would be nobody bringing
01:02in $21 trillion, that I can tell you right now.
01:06As far as this gentleman is concerned, he's done a phenomenal job.
01:09You're mentioning somebody that was extremely controversial.
01:13A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about.
01:16Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen.
01:19But he knew nothing about it.
01:20And we can leave it at that.
01:22You don't have to embarrass our guests by asking a question like that.
01:24It's okay, Mr. Chancellor, you ask, Mr. President, you allow me to answer.
01:27You know, I feel painful about, you know, the families of 9-11 in America.
01:35But, you know, we have to focus on reality.
01:37Reality, based on CIA documents and based on a lot of documents,
01:41that Osama Bin Laden, he used Saudi people in that event for one main purpose,
01:47is to destroy this relation, to destroy the American-Saudi relation.
01:51That's the purpose of 9-11.
01:53So whoever buying that, that means they are helping Osama Bin Laden's purpose of destroying this relation.
01:59He knows that strong relation between America and Saudi Arabia is bad for extremism.
02:03It's bad for terrorism.
02:04And we have to approve him wrong and to build our relation, continue developing our relation.
02:11It's critical in the safety of the world.
02:12It's critical against extremism and terrorism.
02:14About the journalists, it's really painful to hear, you know, anyone that's been losing his life for, you know,
02:25no real purpose or nothing in a legal way.
02:29And it's been painful for us in Saudi Arabia.
02:30We've did all the right steps of investigation, et cetera, in Saudi Arabia.
02:36And we've improved our system to be sure that nothing happened like that.
02:41And it's painful and it's a huge mistake and we are doing our best that this doesn't happen again.
