00:01None of it means anything.
00:06I can't thought it was a low-budget film to begin with.
00:09It was just like another job except you look weird.
00:12I got dressed in the costume. They put bits on it.
00:15I thought, cool, this looks good.
00:17There wasn't a lot of certainty as to what it would be.
00:20I had an invite to go for lunch with Alec Innes.
00:23We used to go and sort of practice the fight together,
00:25like kids fighting in the back garden.
00:27And I was like, holy shit, look at this, what's going on?
00:31How many actors can say that they've got their own action figures?
00:35I said, George, how do you want me to play this?
00:38He said, well, play it like they do in the movies.
00:42I took the afternoon off, up to Pinewood Studios,
00:45and knocked on the door.
00:46Then within a week, I got a call to be in Star Wars.
00:51It was just a nightmare. I mean, it just turned into a sh...
00:54Not everything's going to stay in a film.
00:56And I was quite angry and hurt.
00:58I suffered from, like, terrible depression, you know?
01:00The only thing that really got me out of this house
01:02was really going and doing this convention.
01:04He said, I'll pay you 300 pounds.
01:06Well, to him what? He said, sign an autograph.
01:08I said, are you for real?
01:10There's quite a lot of politicking.
01:12It's all to do with money.
01:13They get just kind of jealous
01:14that you're taking a piece of their action.
01:16My face was in the movie, you know?
01:17Jeremy's got a bucket of his head.
01:18What's that about?
01:19Well, that's purely because it's Boba Fett.
01:20I can't say any more than that.
01:21It's not my fault.
01:22Fans all over the world are generally just brilliant.
01:26Come on, some of them are right off the wall.
01:28The little bit, Mr. Bullock, that you made a slight look.
01:32I said, yes, I was waiting for lunch.
01:34You become friends.
01:35I just treat everybody the same.
01:36I really didn't have that driving ambition to succeed.
01:39Maybe that's where I've been going wrong.
01:42Star Wars is my main source of income.
01:43It's better than sitting on your ass waiting for all the heat to overtake you.
01:56You don't want to be classified just as an ex-X-Wing pilot.
02:01It's a piece of us or it's a piece of, you know, what somebody's life is.
02:07I was in with the helmet on and walking around and then finally stopping with George Lucas.
02:14He said, welcome aboard.
02:16It's not a big role, but I think you'll have some fun.
02:19You kind of just go, you know, move on.
02:22As the San Trooper says, move along.
