00:00Proudly present the co-featured contest of the afternoon, sanctioned by the International Boxing Federation and the Australian National Boxing Federation, IBF Supervisor Ben Keelty, the three judges scoring Samuel Conda, Levi Martinez, and Ray Wheatley, and in the ring in charge of the action at the bell, your referee, Ignatius Misalidis.
00:25And now, 12 rounds of boxing for the IBF Junior Flyweight Championship of the World.
00:36Introducing first, fighting out of the blue corner, wearing white trimmed with silver, his official weight, 53.1 kilograms, 115 pounds.
00:47His professional record, an outstanding one, 25 victories, including eight wins by knockout, only one defeat, with one draw from Kobe, Hyogo Japan, the challenger, Pyro Super Pegasus, Hiroshi Ha!
01:07And his opponent across the ring, fighting out of the red corner, wearing red trimmed with white, officially weighing in at 51.7 kilograms, 114 pounds.
01:23His professional record, just like his challenger, outstanding, 26 victories, 17 big wins by knockout, only one defeat with one draw from Cavite City, the Vale del Norte, Philippines, the reigning and defending IBF Junior Flyweight Champion of the World,
01:46pretty boy, pretty boy, Ancahas!
01:52Ancahas!
01:57Referee Ignatius Misalini calls the combatants in.
02:04Ancahas in red, Kinoshita in the white and silver.
02:09Coach, I want you to buy my commands at all times and protect yourselves at all times.
02:12Okay, understand?
02:13Touch clubs now and good luck.
02:14Rule slightly different for this fight.
02:17These are the unified rules of boxing, world championship rules, 10-point must-scoring system.
02:21There's no standing eight count.
02:22There's no three-knockdown rule.
02:25But it cannot be saved by the Bell in any round.
02:27Only the referee can stop the fight.
02:28And in case of an accidental foul, we go to the scorecards after the fourth round.
02:33I'm the Colonel Bob Sheridan, along with Danny Green.
02:35Our principals, Kinoshita, the challenger, 25 and 1.
02:38He's decked out in the white and silver.
02:40And the red trunks the gem.
02:42They both look like they're orthodox fighters because they're both southpaws.
02:47Interesting.
02:48You don't see too many southpaw and southpaw, but this is it for the world title.
02:53Generally, mates, for a cleaner fight, you know, the action's a bit cleaner and it's a bit crisper.
02:58Southpaw and orthodox fighters, they spoil each other.
03:00Yeah, they certainly do.
03:02These guys both have excellent jabs.
03:06Tiro, Kinoshita, his family came from Korea.
03:11He was brought up in Japan.
03:12Holds those hands high.
03:18Not real busy yet.
03:19And Cajas forces the action.
03:23Japanese fighters are always in great shape.
03:25And of course, sneaky stuff by And Cajas.
03:29There's the jab of Kinoshita.
03:33Kinoshita just bowling that left hand over when the Kajas come in there.
03:36Just caught him flush.
03:38But, as you said earlier, not a big puncher, Kinoshita.
03:43And Cajas has 17 KOs and his 26th victory.
03:46So, he would be the bigger puncher.
03:50But, Kinoshita, very, very good boxer.
03:52You can see Akaha stepping on his front foot, just balking, just throwing a fit of feint now,
03:58trying to get Kinoshita to think he's going to do something different than slam home a jab
04:02or slam overhand left as he just did there, feinting, tricking, trying to balk his opponent.
04:08The champ, Nanny Pacquiao, watching on as he gets taped up in his dressing room.
04:14Not as fast a start as the other fights we've seen, Colonel.
04:22The boys have been pretty keen to get into it.
04:24These guys are very experienced, just kind of getting into a rhythm,
04:26feeling each other after this first round.
04:28Generally, the way when it comes to the title fights.
04:31A lot of stake.
04:32That was Jeff Horn, you saw.
04:37This is first round action.
04:39This is scheduled for the 12th.
04:41If you're just joining us from wherever you're watching around the world,
04:44it's very warm here.
04:45The sun is beating right down, and it's just afternoon time here in Brisbane, Australia.
04:51They've turned out unmasked.
04:52Some 50,000 people will be in this arena.
04:55Hard right hand that time by Gerwin.
04:58Ancajas is the champ in the red.
05:06This is his second title defense.
05:08His last fight out.
05:10January this year, he stopped Jose Alfredo Rodriguez to retain his title.
05:14This is a huge event in Japan.
05:26Japan's such a strong fighting nation, too, Colonel.
05:28Especially in the lower divisions.
05:29They're very strong.
05:30A lot of champions in the lower white divisions.
05:36How did you score that?
05:37I gave that to Ancajas.
05:40I don't think that Kinoshida was busy enough in that first round.
05:46Ancajas landed more and landed heavier, more accurate punches.
05:48Judges, by the way, Levi Martinez of New Mexico and the United States.
05:55Ray Wheatley from here in Australia.
05:57Samuel Conde.
05:58dentiste, markきゃin.
05:59e , he at the top one
05:59So, kailangan pa kumabit
06:13ng bunchet-inanぜin mo siya.
06:14LAngshziin mo siya.
06:15Kay itin mo yabot yung job mo, huh?
06:17Eh, pag nag Lanchen, tatamaan siya.
06:20He's got to step up, he's got to work more than this, he doesn't have the pop, so he's got to let the punches on him, he's got to touch this guy, he's got to hit him, and continually hit him, because the way, if he sticks it, the pace of the first round, he won't be victorious.
06:44There's something to be said for these guys going in the full 12 rounds, but Ancajas is staying very, very busy, nice sneaky left hand on the inside, that's a power shot by Kinoshita, so while he's not a big puncher, he knows what he's doing in there, when the pressure's coming on him from Ancajas.
07:02Good jab there by Ancajas, he's got to hit him double that up too, it's a stiff jab, solid.
07:07He bounces in and out, he comes in, he lets his arsenal go, and then he steps back out, gets his room, and then resets and comes in again.
07:17Meanwhile, Kinoshita trying to counterpunch him. Ignatius the referee saying keep him up lads.
07:23You know, if you can get off a stiff jab like Ancajas has in his arsenal, it can count like a power hand, it can count like a right hand.
07:33Good jab to the body there.
07:34Yeah, you know, he gets that downstairs, and that'll catch up, and there's two more solid body shots, Danny.
07:40It was a beautiful uppercut and lift combination, very hard to do, especially in the pivot.
07:44It takes a lot of courage to do that in there.
07:47Comments of Australian Danny Green, world champion.
07:51Ancajas, if he stays in this rhythm, and Kinoshita doesn't pick it up, he can do this comfortably.
08:01He's got a great rhythm going now, I'll tell you that.
08:06Ancajas, you see the way he ducked underneath that swirling right hand that came at him?
08:11Ancajas is having a terrific round now.
08:15Little nick over his right eye.
08:19It looks like it's kind of beside it, Danny, so it's not as bad as up in that lid.
08:29At least from what I can see, there's a very bright sun here, and it's kind of hard to see, but we'll be able to see in between rounds.
08:35It's easy to be very, very warm out there too, this sun starting to penetrate.
08:41Now that slit has opened up pretty good now, and it looks like Ignatius Mussolini is going to ask the doctor to come in.
08:53I don't think it's serious enough to stop, but at least the doctor's having a look at it.
08:57With the car, I'm happy.
08:58Okay.
08:59Oh, it's just on the side.
09:00Small.
09:01He's got a little slack over them here, but I'm happy.
09:02No worries.
09:03Thanks, Doc.
09:04Okay.
09:05Remember, the previous fights, he was showing you the doctor or the referee can stop the fight.
09:09And world championship fights, the referee is the sole arbiter.
09:13I've never seen one take the advice of a doctor when he says no to continue it, but it can happen.
09:18Look at this.
09:19Jeez, both boys just digging hard in there.
09:22Cajas has the edge in power, though.
09:25Looping left hand by Cajas.
09:28Remember for the southpaw.
09:30Jeez, and Cajas's body works beautiful in there.
09:33Oh, it is.
09:34It is Danny.
09:35Right in the pivot where it's dangerous, where he can get hit.
09:38And he's throwing them with confidence.
09:41When you throw a punch with confidence, you've got balance.
09:44It means you've got power.
09:45So, uh, in Cajas...
09:50The nation has just indicated to us that it was by a punch, so if this fight stopped because of that cut now,
09:56it's a TKO victory.
09:59As opposed to if it was a headbutt, it would be an O-contest until after four rounds.
10:04But it's not critical that it goes four rounds now.
10:07That is if the judges all see on Cajas.
10:12They had, like, were quite confident he's won the first two rounds.
10:22Wham!
10:23Beautiful body shot there.
10:24As we said before, that was off the lead, too.
10:26That was with his power hand.
10:28Sorry, with his front hand.
10:30See that hand...
10:32See that hand up on the head, too, pulling him forward.
10:35Check it out!
10:36Check it out!
10:37Another Lennox Lewis move.
10:39The legend Lennox Lewis.
10:40He had all the good moves.
10:41All right, here we go to round number three.
10:45We're at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia, as the crowd continues to come in here.
10:50And the doctor has another look after the corner has an opportunity.
10:54Doc says, OK.
10:56There's a big bruise underneath that right eye of Kidoshita as well.
11:02Look at that chopping left hand by Nkaz.
11:05He's trying to get that hand right on top of that cut again.
11:08Because he'd love to get him out of there in this heat.
11:11Oh, firing left, rip left hook again.
11:14Oh, that was a good shot to the liver.
11:17We saw the damage of the liver shot we did before in the previous Mickey Conlon fight.
11:21Yeah, that liver can really be a punishing blow.
11:24He's caught him down there.
11:25He wants to get him back upstairs with his left hand.
11:28He was right on top of the cut that time with his left hand.
11:31Remember, for the southpaw, the left hand is the power shot.
11:35I'd rather get hit fast in the face than the liver, without doubt.
11:39I would, too.
11:40I mean, and the liver shot just paralyzes you.
11:44You can't move, and oftentimes it looks like you're going down for no reason
11:48because it's like a delayed reaction before the liver shot hits the brain and paralyzes you.
11:54Another left hand on top of that right eye of Kidoshita.
11:59Kidoshita can't do much with Nkaz.
12:02Nkaz is in and out.
12:03His hands are very, very quick.
12:05He's got Kidoshita cut, and he knows it.
12:08And there's a lot of, you know, kind of like the Cuban fighters,
12:11the Filipino fellas, they move their heads back and forth.
12:14There's that crashing left hand.
12:16They move their heads back and forth, and they're hard to hit.
12:18That's something that Jeff Horn is going to have to deal with against Fanny Pacquiao.
12:22Yeah.
12:23Very evasive, this Nkaz.
12:24And he's accurate.
12:26He's a good puncher.
12:27His body works are outstanding.
12:31It's going to be difficult for Kidoshita to step it up and change the fight
12:35because he doesn't really have the power.
12:38Jeff Horn, as you see down there, getting ready.
12:43Not long ago before the biggest moment of his life.
12:46And there's Manny Pacquiao.
12:47They're getting their thoughts together now.
12:51As Kidoshita tries to battle back and recover from the...
12:55His right eye is really swelling up now.
12:59And we're only in the third round in this world championship fight that's scheduled for 12.
13:04Kidoshita comes forward.
13:06But Nkaz is able to counter punch him.
13:09He's able to get the jab through.
13:11He's able to get the left hand.
13:12Oh, look at that.
13:13Right jab, right jab, left hand on top of the eye again.
13:18Oh! Blasted him with the left hand!
13:25Nkaz pretty much in command right now.
13:27It's very tough for Kidoshita from Japan.
13:30And he's tough, though, as he attacks him.
13:32As the blood trickles down from that right eye.
13:35Joe doesn't just go eye, honey.
13:37He goes downstairs and then he...
13:39Just as I say that, he plants that right hand...
13:41Right on top of the eye of Kidoshita.
13:43I don't know, because it's so early in the fight and it's such a bad cut,
13:47how long he can last.
13:52He's just...
13:53He's almost in cruise control.
13:56All right.
13:57In this program, check that we are definitely the right.
13:58There he is.
13:59If you ever struggle...
14:01There that was toobildable.
14:02I know.
14:03I think we have to, want us to be the right!
14:04I know.
14:05There we go!
14:07No!
14:08No!
14:10I know.
14:11Go on!
14:12Don't be quiet adesso!
14:17twin også!
14:18You realise.
14:19That's where you are.
14:20That kind of gotcha.
14:21Great.
14:22Guess what I was?
14:23Dang.
14:24No!
14:25Bang, just caught him on the shoulder before he even flushed the face.
14:31Very nice shot for Menkahas.
14:34And there's that little shot to the body.
14:36Beautiful straight left for Menkahas.
14:37He's a very accurate puncher.
14:40Kinoshita's gonna have to pick up his rib.
14:42He's gonna have to pick up the work rate, otherwise he's just gonna slip far behind.
14:46Well, here we go.
14:49This is round number four, scheduled for 12, but Menkahas is in total command.
14:54Kinoshita was cut in the second round, and it's kind of a bad cut in that also around
14:59the cut, it's very, very puffy in that, you know, the high cheekbones of the Japanese fighters
15:05cause their eyes sometimes, if they're hitting a lot, to swell up much more, much more severely.
15:10But he's here to fight.
15:11Look at this.
15:12Gonna dig.
15:13Dug hard to go to there, Kinoshita.
15:16Nice job by Ignatius, the referee.
15:18As soon as those hands were tied up, he was in there to separate the two guys.
15:24Look at the hand speed of Kajas.
15:27Man.
15:28Kajas is virtually unmarked.
15:31The other guy's face, he looks like he's already been through 10-12 rounds.
15:34Yeah, his eyes starting to close up, that right eye starting to get badly affected.
15:39And, you know, we're only at one minute into the round, and the blood's trickling again,
15:44so it must be hard to close that thing up.
15:47And right on top of it, again, is that Kajas with the left hand.
15:51He'll jab him with the right hand, and he gets at that eye.
15:54I don't think that that eye can hold up the whole fight.
15:57We'll see.
15:58Well, it's a good straight left, then, from Ankara.
16:00Considering that Kinoshita's holding his right hand, his lead head down,
16:04he's leaving that open for the eye to get damaged even more.
16:06He's not really protecting it.
16:14He should be trying to move to his right-hand side to move away from Ankara's power hand.
16:21Sorry, to his left-hand side to move away from it.
16:25Sliding around to his left as Ankara sets up in front of him.
16:29Not giving a lot of head movement.
16:31As they say that, he ducks down.
16:33But look at the Japanese fighter trying to battle back against him.
16:37There's plenty of grit in the kid, but he doesn't have the power,
16:41and Jeroen comes right through.
16:43Left hand, right hand downstairs, back upstairs.
16:47Stiff jab with the right hand.
16:49Turns over the left hand on top of that eye again.
16:52He got away with that.
16:53And finally, Kinoshita lands something on the chin of Ankara's,
16:59but he's in such great shape, he comes right through it.
17:02Of course, you know the humidity and the heat that they train in the Philippines,
17:06so this is nothing for Ankara's.
17:08It's a roof in the pocket.
17:09Whoa!
17:10Did Kinoshita load up a left-hand power shot,
17:14but it sailed over the shoulder of Ankara's.
17:17That was a bump.
17:18Yeah, not known for knockout punching power,
17:21but that would have got certainly Ankara's attention
17:24if he landed that one.
17:25The high hands again, Danny.
17:27But Ankara's able to come right through anything,
17:30to the body.
17:31Difficult when you can't punch,
17:34you don't have the authority to keep your opponent off,
17:36and Ankara knows that.
17:38There's the bell, let's go into Geoff Horne's locker room with Cody Kaye.
17:48Geoff, the moment's almost here.
17:50How are the nerves?
17:51They're pretty good, surprisingly.
17:53I've managed to keep the nerves under wraps this whole time.
17:56I'm still a little bit excited,
17:57especially hearing the crowd out there from back in this dressing room.
18:00I haven't been out there yet,
18:01so I'll get a good shock when I walk out.
18:04It is quite electric.
18:05There's 50-something thousand.
18:06How do you feel about them screaming your name when you walk out there?
18:08I feel great,
18:09and I'm feeling confident because we've had some good results out there already
18:13for Australia.
18:14Hopefully I can finish it all.
18:15Tell me what you need to do in the first three minutes against Manny.
18:18I just need to figure out his speed, his movement,
18:21just trying to get that all under wraps.
18:25Geoff, all the best. Go out there and get it, mate.
18:30All righty.
18:31Boy, he seems calm, doesn't he, Danny?
18:33He's cool, mate.
18:34He's cool.
18:35Biggest moment of his life is about to come up,
18:37and he's very calm, very relaxed, very nice to see.
18:39Yeah, he's such a great kid.
18:41I wish him so much success.
18:43And, you know, Manny's a great pal as well,
18:45so it's very difficult for me.
18:47Two top blokes.
18:48Yeah.
18:49One superstar and one potential superstar.
18:51That's it.
18:52Here we go, round number five.
18:53The Colonel Bob Sherwin, along with Danny Green,
18:55the former champ,
18:56we're at Sutton Court Stadium in Brisbane, Australia.
18:59The town has turned out,
19:00and they've done everything to make a great promotion.
19:03Kudos to Dean Lonegan and the fellas at the top rank.
19:07Sherwin's able to get that left hand through again.
19:09That's his power shot for the southpaw.
19:11Right back at Kinochita.
19:13There's no quit in Kinochita.
19:14He just doesn't have the power, Danny.
19:15And the trading blows,
19:16their landing blows simultaneously,
19:18but it's...
19:19And Kaha's just having more effect.
19:21But you were right.
19:22There's absolutely no quit in Kinochita.
19:24And, man, I've seen a lot of fights over the years.
19:26A lot of Japanese fighters,
19:27they have just such grit.
19:29Well, they're all in such great shape,
19:31but he got clipped pretty hard by that time.
19:33Another left-hand power shot.
19:35It spun the head, but it didn't shift,
19:37meaning that Kinochita is in great shape.
19:39He's got that right hand held high.
19:41Almost slaps at him that time.
19:44He faints.
19:45And Kaha's isn't afraid of anything
19:47because he doesn't feel the power.
19:49So he comes right through the jab
19:50and does a nice job defensively.
19:52Ducking underneath when Kinochita goes on the assault.
19:55He's not moving his head as much as he was earlier
19:57because he's got more confidence.
19:59But he dips down when he comes in, Dan,
20:01and throws either the right or left hand.
20:03You never know from when it's coming.
20:05And as you said earlier,
20:07in both these blokes,
20:08the depth of talent in these weight divisions
20:10the small weight divisions in the Philippines
20:12and in Japan is incredible.
20:13So they would have incredible sparring.
20:16They'll do 12 rounds on their ear.
20:17No problem.
20:18This is a better round for Kinochita,
20:20but the heavy blows are being landed by Nkaha.
20:22So while it's a better round,
20:24it's not enough to win it.
20:25And by the way,
20:26that cut that opened up in the second round,
20:28they've got it under control,
20:29but the right eye is closing right up almost tight.
20:32That's definitely going to affect the vision.
20:35Yeah, especially his lead eye.
20:36It's his front eye.
20:37It's going to prevent him from getting
20:39to prevent him from seeing those power punches coming.
20:42Remember,
20:43he's a Korean heritage
20:44and they have even higher cheekbones
20:46than the Japanese.
20:47So, you know,
20:48that eye can close right up.
20:50Good club in there from Kinochita.
20:52That was a damaging punch.
20:54Just on the inside,
20:55a little short, sneaky one,
20:56but it hurt.
20:57You could see.
20:58Very tough kid.
20:59The punches on is Crispa
21:00for Nkaha's right now.
21:03And again,
21:04the heat won't affect him as much as it will Kinochita.
21:10Oh, he stopped, planted it,
21:11and he cut that right hand loose.
21:13Yeah.
21:14As Kinochita...
21:15You know, Danny, you said something.
21:16They both...
21:17When they trade punches,
21:18it looks great,
21:19but Nkaha's gets the advantage
21:21because of his power.
21:22Hmm.
21:23Yeah, and that's the telling factor for the judges.
21:25Well, they're both landing punches,
21:26and Kinochita might be, you know,
21:28telling up some score,
21:29but the judges are going to see
21:31the more effective punching power
21:32from Nkaha's
21:33and they're going to take note of it.
21:34Yeah, because Kinochita's really had
21:35a good boxing round here in the fifth.
21:37But I don't think I can give him the round
21:39because he...
21:40In the professional boxing,
21:41as you well know, Danny,
21:43it's about who lands out the most punishment.
21:45And still Nkaha's
21:47has been doing it,
21:48so I give him the round again.
21:49Yeah, and he finished strong then.
21:51Very finished, very strong,
21:52with a short couple of cracks inside.
21:56I'm going to score 50-45.
21:59Ray Wheatley, Samuel Conde,
22:01and Levi Martinez,
22:02the official judges,
22:03will give the official rendition,
22:05and Danny and I will give you
22:07what we think as we go along the way.
22:19Here's the action replay.
22:20Bang!
22:21Flush to the ear.
22:23And those shots, mate,
22:24on the ear, the temple,
22:25the side of the head,
22:26they really hurt.
22:27Wham!
22:28That was flush on the chin,
22:29that one.
22:30Very nice shot.
22:31Just missing with the right uppercut.
22:33Matthew Heaton and I,
22:35camera crew,
22:36doing a great job getting shots for you.
22:38Yeah.
22:39Good action replay, boys.
22:42Jeez, this heat's...
22:43it's starting to get hot out here,
22:44when Tom Pacquiao and Horne get out of here.
22:46It's going to be very warm.
22:48Second score.
22:50Again, kind of advantage to Manny.
22:52Yeah, he's used to this heat.
22:54That's it.
22:55Here we go, round number six,
22:56scheduled for 12.
22:57World IBF Junior Bantamweight Championship,
23:01the 150...
23:0215-pound title on the line.
23:05Ancahas catches him with an uppercut
23:08as, uh,
23:10Thiru...
23:11Hiroshita was coming in.
23:13Hiroshita ties him up.
23:15He just separates the two,
23:16and we're back at it again.
23:18Let's see if Ancahas gets more aggressive.
23:20There he goes.
23:22Cuts loose with about a five-punch combination.
23:25Bangs him downstairs.
23:27Seems like Ancahas wants to try to rough him up
23:30a little bit in this round,
23:31because his corner told him that, uh,
23:33Kinoshita had a decent fifth round.
23:36And Gah steps up in.
23:38Boy, does he throw that jab technically right,
23:40driving off that back foot?
23:42Yeah, off that back toe.
23:43That's where you get the power for the jab, Colonel,
23:44off that back toe.
23:45If you can distribute...
23:46Oh, good, beautiful lead.
23:47This is all inside there.
23:48And again.
23:49If you can distribute your power off that back toe,
23:51you get all that momentum going forward.
23:53That's where you get true pop from.
23:55Remember, when Danny's saying a rip,
23:57that's what we call a hook in other places around the world.
24:00Here in Australia and New Zealand,
24:02they call that a rip to the body.
24:05You've got a hook to the head,
24:06then when you go to the body,
24:07it generally is a rip,
24:08because you kind of come on a 45 in.
24:10You rip it in, you don't hook it around.
24:12And that way it penetrates the organs inside your body
24:14and has a lot more effect.
24:17You don't have to describe to me, my son.
24:19I know, I know, but you know what it feels like.
24:23I'm sure you've won a few too, Colonel.
24:31Jeff Horne looking on.
24:33Watch your head. Watch your head.
24:35watch your head and throw your head on the coast.
24:37Right.
24:38You're watching the perfect level,
24:40right.
24:41Right.
24:43Come on, man.
24:45And Carhas just doing what he's doing,
24:46he's coast Not coasting, but he's comfortable.
24:48Boxing better this round.
24:50And Carhas just doing what he's doing.
24:51He's coast, not coasting.
24:53But he's, he's comfortable.
24:54Boxing better this round.
24:55Southeast back.
24:56Even in the last round where it looked like Kinochita was coming on a little bit more.
25:00They're both kind of in cruise control right now, Danny.
25:03And Kaha's work rate's much stronger.
25:05Yep.
25:06He's cannering nice.
25:08He really is.
25:08And he's getting much more powerful shots off than Kinochita's able to do.
25:13Dang in there.
25:15Conor with a left-hand power shot, but not right flush.
25:19He's behind the ear.
25:21Tough cookie, I'll tell you.
25:24Very tough, Colonel.
25:25When things aren't going your way, the way it is for Kinochita,
25:31Ankaha says, I won't say he doesn't have respect for him, but he has no fear of him.
25:36And it makes it very tough for Kinochita to do something.
25:40Hard body shot again off the hands of Ankaha.
25:43Closing seconds of this, the sixth round.
25:47Nice stiff jab again for Ankaha.
25:49And that, to me, is another Ankaha's round.
25:51I got a pitch in a shutout.
25:52Meaning that he's won every round.
25:55He must clear the corner before 10 seconds.
26:14Very warm early afternoon here at Sunforge Stadium in Brisbane, Australia.
26:21Ankaha's way out in front, halfway through the scheduled 12-round fight.
26:26There was a time when we didn't think that Kinochita's eye would hold up, but they've done a really nice job in his corner.
26:33That's Kiyomi Holtz that handles that.
26:36He's done a good job.
26:39He's going to have trouble sitting at it pretty soon.
26:41It's closing up more success than Kahrz has with his left hand.
26:47That's how it's going to be.
26:48All right, so here we go.
26:53Round number seven.
26:54The Colonel Bob Sheridan, along with Danny Green and our whole staff here in Brisbane.
26:59We're so glad that you could be with us.
27:02Main events worldwide.
27:04Big shot landed by Kinochita.
27:08And that time he bounced ahead back, Dan.
27:10He loaded up big with that one.
27:11Oh, good body hit inside, Ankaha.
27:14His body works beautiful.
27:17Very strong, very compact.
27:18A very compact puncher.
27:19Colonel doesn't waste much energy when he throws them.
27:21He's very effective.
27:23Blood begins to trickle again from the right eye of Kinochita.
27:28They've done a nice job in the corner of keeping him in the fight,
27:31but as Danny mentioned, as the round began here, round number seven,
27:35that that eye, that right eye, is really beginning to close up to him instead of a one-eyed fighter.
27:39But he is some kind of tough.
27:42Oh, look at this.
27:44Ankaha tries to mix it up with him,
27:46and Kinochita lands a few blows inside there.
27:50Now the blood trickles from the right nostril of Kinochita.
27:55Again, his face is busted up because of the heaviness of the blows of Ankaha.
28:02Ankaha's a little bit puffy by the right eye, but below it.
28:05Yeah, every now and then, Kinochita's having some success with that left hand.
28:11He should be throwing them all there.
28:12Yeah.
28:15Wild with his right hand.
28:16How tough is this when you're behind in the fight?
28:20He's got to know it, and he's trying to do everything he can because for him in Japan,
28:24this is as big as it comes fighting the world.
28:26Oh!
28:27He got hit with a shot, and it dropped him.
28:30It's going to be tough.
28:31He caught him to the body real hard.
28:33It's up to six and seven and eight.
28:36He's up at eight and nine.
28:39Referee says no more.
28:40It's all over.
28:42Jowen Ankaha has stopped Tino Chita by a technical knockout here in the seventh round.
28:49Ankaha's goes to 27-1-1 with 18 knockouts.
28:55Big win for the kid from the Philippines.
28:59Jowen Ankaha's.
29:01His eyes closed.
29:02What a stellar body shot that was.
29:04Wow.
29:04He'd been working the body the whole fight.
29:06That wasn't just one shot.
29:08That was the finishing touches on that six, seven rounds of damage he'd been doing to his body.
29:13Fantastic shot.
29:14And it wasn't on the liver's side.
29:16It was on the other side by the spleen.
29:18But he really, really punished him.
29:20But he had softened up the body throughout the course, as you just said.
29:24Yeah, and he got it when he wasn't expecting it.
29:28Oh, yeah.
29:29Kind of caught him when he wasn't expecting it.
29:31Here he goes, and then he's waiting for something else.
29:33Wham, caught him napping, and all they heard, Colonel, mate, this guy is as tough as tick,
29:38and he was in pain.
29:52Yeah, the referee just came over and said he couldn't see out of his eye.
29:56He's closed over, poor bud.
29:58So more than the shot, it was that the eye was totally shut.
30:01According to Ignatius Misolini, who was a very, very good referee and astute.
30:09So not only was the guy beat up and had just been dropped, but the eye was totally closed.
30:16Michael Popper's standing by.
30:17So let's get all the official particulars.
30:21Ladies and gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen, following the knockdown,
30:24the challenger is unable to continue the official time.
30:28One minute, 53 seconds.
30:31Round number seven.
30:32The winner by TKO victory.
30:34Still the IBF junior for the lightweight champion of the world,
30:40Joe Witt, pretty boy on care house.
30:48Well, the main event is coming up next.
30:50Don't run away.
30:51Manny Pacquiao at depth forward.
