Mountain of illegal waste dumped in field in small English village

A mountain of illegal waste were found piled up in a field in a small English village in Oxfordshire.

The heap of rubbish left by fly tippers is located near a river bank and busy road on the outskirts of Oxford. It is said to be 150 meters and long and at least 6 meters high, according to local media.

Local angler, Billy Burnell said he had seen legal landfills which were smaller than the mountain of waste in the field.

Politician for Bicester and Woodstock, Calum Miller said the area would normally be used by dog walkers and anglers who enjoy being close to nature. Speaking with British broadcasters, Miller said he had asked the government for help to clean up the field.
