00:00So I'll tell you a fun story about this time I got a job many, many years ago before I became an outdoor teacher.

00:07I was looking for work and someone I knew was working at a call center and said, hey, they're hiring.

00:12So I throw in my resume and I never heard back.

00:15And then this person, you know, is like, hey, are you in the training class that starts Monday morning at 8 a.m.?

00:21No, I guess I didn't get the job, but you know what I'm going to do?

00:24I'm going to get in my car and I'm going to drive to the place and I'm just going to show up for the training class.

00:28I mean, what's the worst that's going to happen, right?

00:31Like, we'll see.

00:33So I go in.

00:34I'm like, hey, I'm here for the training.

00:35And they're like, oh, OK, no problem.

00:37And I sat down and went through the training and they're going through attendance and they're looking through the paperwork.

00:41And they're like, your name's not on the list.

00:44Well, how do you why are you here?

00:46Well, somebody called me.

00:47Well, who called?

00:48I was so excited to get this job and so happy to be here.

00:52I'm so sorry.

00:52I don't remember who called and why, you know, like any of the names or anything.

00:58I just remember them saying to be here.

01:00So they were like, oh, you know what?

01:02We'll deal with this at lunch.

01:03And I'm like, ah, crap, I'm busted.

01:05I guess at lunch they're going to throw me out.

01:07So anyways, lunch comes and goes and they're like, oh, I'm so sorry, Mr. Wolf.

01:10Here's your paperwork to sign and all that stuff.

01:12And congratulations on your first day of work.

01:15So just like that, with no interview, I just sent a resume, showed up.

01:19And this place was so inept and so backwards that they didn't even notice they didn't hire me.

01:24And I literally stayed there for years.
