00:00Mr. Chairman, I'll start off with itong excuse letter ni Mr. Saldico.

00:09At kanina po ho nababanggit yung kanyang pangalan.

00:13Dito po sa kanyang excuse letter, meron ho siyang pinadalang medical records

00:16na sinasabi niya na hindi siya makakadalo ho dito dahil may meron siyang karamdaman.

00:24Pero nung tinignan ko po itong pinadala niyang medical records,

00:30unang-una po, this is dated January 23, 2025.

00:37So outdated na ho ito.

00:39And then pangalawa ho, I consulted our Senate doctor.

00:46At ang unang sabi niya rin sa akin, o sa amin, sa team namin,

00:50ay outdated na rin ho itong medical records.

00:53At pangalawa, based sa kanyang paanalisis,

00:58wala ho ditong nakasulat na karamdaman na nagsasabing hindi siya ho pwedeng dumalaw ho dito.

01:09At pangalawa, itong medical records niya ho, nakasulat ho dito,

01:13e dinischarge siya. Hindi naman ho siya inilagay sa ospital.

01:17At nagpadala rin ho si Mr. Saldi ko ho ng appointments.

01:24So sa kanyang supposedly appointment sa Massachusetts General Hospital,

01:30this is dated September 22, 2025.

01:33So ano na ho ngayon? November 14.

01:38So almost two months na po ang nakaraan.

01:41So in other words, Mr. Chairman, hindi ho katanggap-tanggap itong excuse letter ni Mr. Saldi ko

01:49at hindi ho ito para sa akin, hindi ho ito katanggap-tanggap na gamitin

01:56na hindi ho siya pwedeng dumalo dito sa ating pagdinig.

01:59So I would like to make a conditional motion, Mr. Chairman.

02:06Conditional dahil depende ho kung magkakaroon pa tayo ng hearing,

02:09depende sa usapan ho ng ating mga senador,

02:12na kung magkakaroon ho tayong isa pang hearing,

02:15mag-issue ng supina para po puwersahin ho siya pumunta ho dito.

02:21And the next move, kung hindi pa rin ho siya pumunta,

02:23mag-issue na ho ng contempt.

02:25So I would like to make that conditional.

02:31Conditional lang ho ito, Mr. Chairman,

02:32subject to the discussions among the senators

02:36and of course the decision of the Blue Ribbon Committee.

02:40So I would like to start off with that, Mr. Chairman.

02:43Same treatment.

02:44Ganon din pa ang gagawin natin sa mga inimbitan natin na hindi dumalo.

02:47Susunod, papadala natin sila na supina,

02:50tulad niyong sina Pakana, regional director,

02:53pinahimbitan ng Senator JV.

02:54And all the others,

02:56na hindi sumiput in today's hearing.
