00:00My dear friends, having visited Tobago several times, I have deeply felt that this is a place
00:11full of potential and hope. And we have noticed the significant budget allocation
00:19increased by your central government, as well as the numerous new initiatives to promote
00:27the local development, and also during the recent visits of your final minister,
00:34and the newly launched organization in Ukraine has a dedicated chapter to be brought.
00:48This commemorative ceremony, according to the TRHA, recognizes the enduring diplomatic ties
00:55between the government of Trinidad and Tobago and the People's Republic of China.
01:00The mural, designed as an artistic symbolization of the national treasures,
01:06symbols, and the people of both nations, stands as a testament to friendship,
01:12cultural exchange, and shared creativity.
01:16We are looking forward to what will happen, and we have confidence that, with so many promising
01:25and favorable factors, Tobago will enjoy definitely a very brighter future.
01:35And China, you know, China is more than ready and stands ready, and I would say is committed
01:44to the future collaboration with the DHA and with the central government.
01:51In delivering the feature address, Health Secretary Dr. Faith Bredner said upwards of $50 to $60 million
01:59within the last couple years, getting the little things that you need to make what you do work.
02:24And those kinds of investments are what we needed to continue making.
02:30And those kinds of investments are what I will keep fighting to have the Tobago House of Assembly make
02:39on behalf of the people of Tobago.
02:43Dr. Bredner said partnerships such as these are welcomed by the T-H-E.
02:48This is the kind of partnership that allows us to have bright, child-friendly spaces.
02:54Spaces where a scared little boy could feel a little braver coming through those doors.
03:04And a worried mommy or daddy could inhale a little bit.
03:14Do it with me.
03:17Yes.
03:19And breathe out and feel a little calmer.
03:23In addition to the mural, the Chinese government donated wall-wrapped stickers reflecting the same design theme
03:31as well as furniture.
03:34The mural and the stickers were designed by art and design teacher at Spaceside Secondary, Chris Thomas,
03:40and Curriculum Officer at the Division of Education, Avi Bacchus.
