00:00The annual report on labor market developments, which was published recently by the Commission.
00:07The Commission says, well, there are positive developments in Europe in terms of quality of work and adequate wages.
00:16But unfortunately, there are exceptions to these positive developments.
00:23And the exception is, among others, Italy.
00:26Because in Italy, real wages have gone down.
00:33Real wages have gone down for 10 years and they continue to go down.
00:40Now, the directive, as you know, has two approaches.
00:46The minimum wage, statute legal minimum wage, and collective bargaining.
00:51And I was always told, yes, but Italy has 90% of collective bargaining, no?
01:00Ma we know what it means, this collective bargaining, in many, many sectors.
01:07Because these are sectors that have collective bargaining, but at a very, very low level.
01:14And I was proud to be here.
01:15So,
01:16I feel bold to supply ourselves.
