00:00I've read a lot of preposterous claims in the last two weeks.
00:03The most preposterous is that MAGA is dead.
00:06It's not only alive and well, it's growing.
00:08It's not going anywhere.
00:10There may be people on the radical left and maybe a few people on the right
00:14who think that it's dead and would accelerate it.
00:17They couldn't be more wrong.
00:19And the future of MAGA is what we're seeing in the present,
00:24that when men and women are elected to office,
00:27whether it be president of the United States or mayor,
00:30that they govern with the full legal and ethical authority they have,
00:34rather than the tentativeness that too many politicians on the right
00:41govern with over the last 25 years.
00:44And so at Heritage, what we see, not just for the next election cycles,
00:48our midterms next year, the presidential election in 2028,
00:51but far more importantly, the rest of the century
00:55as a social and cultural movement
00:58is that MAGA has reminded the American people
01:02that they, not Washington, are in charge.
01:05And we're just hopeful that our friends in Europe
01:07take some encouragement from that
01:09and start saying that they, not Brussels, is in charge.
