A recent national poll suggests people worry more about immigration across the UK than in their own area. We asked people in Birmingham whether immigration concerns them locally, or whether they feel it brings benefits to their community.

00:00Yeah, there's a lot of immigrants here and like, for example, the Christmas market, like all the supervisors, they're not from here.
00:07They're from a different country and I feel like, hypothetically, if they wasn't, more people that were born here would have more opportunities.
00:17Well, that's not me saying, oh, they shouldn't be able to, you know, but I feel like it does narrow down the opportunity for people born here.

00:44It's a bit of both and I don't have a problem with immigration, but I think people that are struggling to get homes and it's a common for them.
