John Collins, Ashley Williams & Shay Given say Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden & Harry Kane can play for England
Transcript
00:00The manager is getting paid to do the best job and he sees them in training and he figures it out
00:04but just off the top of my head I'm pretty sure you can fit the good players into a team.
00:10It's just how you do it.
00:12I know if I was a manager I would want to have those three players in my team.
00:17I know if I was a football player, an England player, I would want to be surrounded by those three players.
00:23I suppose going back to maybe the Lampard, Scholes, Gerrard and they said they had to play together
00:27so they were playing, I don't know, Scholes on the right and maybe Lampard as a 10
00:32and they didn't seem to fit properly, the three amazing midfielders but it didn't seem to work.
00:36So there is an argument for Thomas Tuchel who's right at what he's saying
00:40but at the same time when you mention the likes of Bellingham, Foden, Kane, these are brilliant players
00:46and you think a top manager has to get them into the team.
00:49I've never had so much nonsense in my life.
00:51Great players, good players, team players, with football brains, with skill, 100% can play in the same team together.
01:02I'm not sure why they can't play together.
01:04I know they all play in similar positions but you've got to get your best players on the pitch
01:08as much as possible to win games.
01:10Football is about winning but it's about winning in style.
01:13The best managers, the best teams win with style.
01:17Football.
