00:00We got welcome to real talk or should we say bro talk where it gets hot and spicy and to the drama
00:22All right guys, I remember when I first showed up and I was like, oh my god, it's the professor. Yeah, that's me
00:27The professor and Wow, I almost wanted to surrender to you
00:30Yeah, as you should and then you're like the villain. I was just like, oh my god
00:34We got the bad boy. Oh two villain, but nice guy in real life. He's like watch out though
00:38He's not the market the only one here and not married though. I know I think enough
00:42They put a bunch of bros together that yeah, we're married like yeah married for 12 years
00:46He's had 12 dude, and we're gonna push 10 in December. Wow
00:51Congratulations beautiful girl. Yep, beautiful girl one on the way and one on the way. Yeah, I got a dog
00:55I'm a dog dad to remind you we need to drink to that dog. It's pretty close
01:02This man right here is a CEO in real life. It's true. Believe it or not. It's crazy. Yeah
01:07That's the only way you could afford having three kids at the whole point
01:10Three jobs one job per kid exactly if you want to live in LA that's how you how much money you got to bring it
01:15Yeah, for real first number one. We'll take care of you take care of professor next. Yeah
01:22That was like one of my favorite and one characters on the animal mixtape to with the professor
01:26It reminds me of that you got some handles that I just aged myself the and one mixtapes. I'm sure like nobody knows what that is
01:31Oh, you know what they are but like I haven't thought about that. That's all so long
01:37Dude, let's put this away and get nice and cold. This thing is cool
01:40What are we going to cheers to bros? Cheers to you adding a kid to that dog. Yeah
01:46That escalated quickly
01:48I think they gave a huge poll on real short app and they were talking about how all the fans ask us a bunch of questions
01:53And they put it all in here and it's gonna get pretty crazy quick because I think we've actually not seen these yet
01:59So these gonna be cold answers. Oh
02:01No, so this is from Diane zero three zero two
02:06She asked what's the role you never played before but would love to try?
02:10Well, since I usually play the villain I want to do what one of these guys do
02:14Maybe play a professor or a CEO do it or a plumber that's secretly a CEO. There you go
02:22Yeah, got the big like he looks the part when he showed up. I was like damn
02:26Okay, my secret CEO plumber. Okay. This is from Valerie IE
02:31Panting go Valerie. Okay, that's a solid handle describe a role that has been most challenging for you
02:37The last one that I shot with Haley it we like wrapped not even too long ago, but it was a whole full-on bomb
02:44There's like you let our daughter died and like the first three days every single scene
02:49I was crying and so they like heavily loaded this thing up front with all the drama all the craziness and it was so funny
02:56Because we had to like take breaks and just kind of run off and do like these dumb little tik-tok videos
02:59Just so like, you know, I kind of like take the pressure off and like the steam cooking
03:02That was really brewing the whole time and then all of a sudden my fans were like talking to Haley's fans
03:06And they're like, oh my god, it's the dramatic duo. It's like I was like, I know that we're gonna cry and I'm like, yes
03:12You were gonna cry your eyes out on this next one professor. You ready? Oh, no
03:16What is key on the script that you just say I have to play this role?
03:22The key thing for me when I like have to play a role is if it's so far away from me as like a normal person
03:28Oh wow
03:29Because then I just want to try it
03:31I want to see like what that's all about what that life feels like
03:34I try to find like different music that I'm not into
03:36Like I try to eat different foods like just try to change a lot of stuff and then see how it feels
03:42I remember I had like my hair past my shoulders and I was like
03:45I did a tour for like six months of South America
03:47But then when I cut it like you don't even recognize yourself in the mirror like you're like, whoa
03:50I almost feel like you have that double take moment every time you put on a character and then when you rap
03:55You're just like who is this guy? It's weird. I used to have mid-back hair, bro. Yeah, dude. Am I wedding? I look like Tarzan
04:01I swear dude
04:05Usually like if I'm starting a new project I like when we do like intros the first day
04:09I just go my name Jeff just to get it over with clear the room before anybody else does it
04:14I love it. I love it. I got to be the first. Um, I get AA run all day long
04:17All day long. AA run! What do you get?
04:20My dad was like there's military kids that move everywhere, but like right underneath it
04:24I always made the joke is my dad was in oil. So I lived everywhere. I lived in like Russia. I lived in Australia
04:28I lived like I moved about nine times before I graduated high school
04:31But when we lived in Australia, I was like a foot taller than everybody. So everybody just called me big
04:37They're like big
04:39What's up?
04:40You heard it here first folks. That's right. So
04:42If you weren't an actor, what would you be?
04:45I'll go first. Go for it
04:47When I was a kid, I wanted to be like all sorts of things. I wanted to be like a zookeeper
04:51I wanted to be a Jedi
04:53I wanted to be like everything and acting became an avenue for me to do all that
04:58But I feel like in this day and age if I wasn't an actor
05:01I'd still want to be in the industry somehow and I love like directing producing writing
05:05So probably something within the same vein
05:07Nice. I don't think I could do anything else because I tried to do a bunch of other things and I just don't want to
05:14Um, however, if I were to just like retire today
05:18I would probably go like build something
05:21Like either either shape surfboards or like
05:25Build cool furniture like go like reclaim some wood
05:27Yeah, like work with my hands like do you like create something?
05:31I think it's something that I have to do
05:33He built this couch actually before we got here
05:35This whole set. Yeah, he did. Yeah
05:37Hey, hey, Ron. Yeah, hey, hey, Ron
05:40Me and my wife actually have this conversation a lot of times and then she was saying she's like
05:44This is the only avenue that I could have possibly actually scratched the itch for all the crazy stuff that I wanted to do
05:48Like I want to do crazy like I want to rob a bank
05:51But like you can't do that in real life
05:53You can't just go do that. Oh, you can't just go do that. Exactly. So how do you get how do you scratch that it?
05:57The only way you can kind of facilitate and scratch that itch is in like the media entertainment world itself
06:01And so you can go be a bank robber or you want to go and do these crazy things like be an astronaut
06:06Or go and like, you know, be a CEO of a billion, you know, billionaire, you know, whatever like own a company
06:11Like those kind of things where acting is like the only place where you can actually go and live all those different lives
06:16That I've always wanted to do and try but there's just not enough time in your life to do
06:19Noah underscore love 99. Thanks. No, that's good one. Thanks brother. Love Noah. Hey Ron. This was for you
06:26When are you and Jess Jacobi going to do another show? You both were amazing and great together. Oh, thank you so much
06:34Dude, Jess is amazing. We're actually like still friends. I'll say the answer is soon
06:38I have absolutely no idea
06:40But I do know we did shoot something last month our friend a bunch of vertical leads got together and for free
06:48We all did a proof of concept horror
06:50Vertical that's sick. That's cool
06:52And so that one's in the works, but it was me her rick shepherd candace mozinga beautiful question
06:58This is from I don't know how to pronounce this
07:01Jaddy fam 92 j-a-t-i-e fam
07:05Jaddy fam 92 what's up for Jeff. Oh boy
07:09Is there anything you are working on now?
07:11You're one of my favorite actors. Oh, thank you jaddy fan 192. It's so nice. Oh my goodness
07:18I just wrapped
07:19Not too long ago
07:20It's actually about to drop at the time of this filming a real short where I played basketball with Jesse Morales fun fact
07:27I don't know how to play basketball, but Jesse does I mean as you clearly saw from that intro
07:32I don't know how to play basketball
07:34I was like, oh, how do you do it like a double dribble trick shot and like that's not what you think it is
07:39But yeah, that one's that one's dropping. I think tomorrow actually the time of recording this is so wow
07:44It will be long
07:45There on the real short out by the time you watch this
07:48Thank you for being a fan and i'm sure i'll update you based on social media. That was literally invitation to slide in his dm
07:55That's what I heard. Yeah. Yeah, I'll let you know what's up. Don't worry jaddy jaddy fam. Yeah, all right
08:00We're doing more this one is from simply d sims
08:04Okay
08:05How hard is it not to laugh at some of the lines you guys have to read on the script? I usually bust out laughing
08:13First thing like and it's always in rehearsal
08:16So like a lot of times in rehearsal i'll go in with like the most ridiculous accent possible
08:21And just sit that's enough
08:24I did a villain with sarah a few weeks ago. So it's not it might be out
08:29Yeah, sarah moliski
08:30She and I i was the villain like the male lead butt villain and
08:35Every single take dude, we were busting out laughing because she and I
08:41And we're i'm sure we're going to talk about this at some point
08:42But she and I only have ever worked comedy together
08:46Like comedy commercials
08:47And so I did this villain and we're like staring at each other and she does a lot of villains too
08:50She would be like in in our faces and as soon as they would yell cut we would just bust out laughing dude
08:55So much fun. I haven't laughed that much on set in a minute
08:58It's always starts with like somebody's like mouth going like
09:02Like trying not to smile they're just like no no no like mid scene and you see it and that like makes me like oh my god
09:08It's we're so close. All right. This is from
09:11Acre
09:13Why?
09:14317?
09:14What would be your dream role?
09:16I think we kind of joked about this earlier
09:18Like the ceo billionaire stuff that we've been doing like a lot of at least like I started off doing that and they kept on doing that
09:23It's cool
09:24But it's like it kind of like there's only certain stuff that you can do to kind of put you in that
09:28That box of just being the ceo
09:31They've recently kind of experimented with stuff where like they take my characters and kind of have like an evil twist to them
09:37So I get to play like this weird gray area
09:39And that's where i've had the most fun because it's always like take it and just like you got free reign to do whatever you want
09:44And when the directors like basically say okay richard, we love you. We know what you do
09:47So just like have fun. Oh man
09:48Because then now all of a sudden you can fire on all cylinders like you know
09:51You're actually revving up that lambo and you're going crazy with it
09:54And those are the kind of like the roles that i've done like and that was where they have like that weird twist where it's almost like
09:59Is he bad? Is he good?
10:01Yeah, it's complex. My dream role would actually be the himbo
10:04I love playing like the dumb masculine guy like if you look at um
10:08Like like men in black the new one chris hemsworth as like the secretary where he's just there for eye candy
10:14But he's like a total idiot like those are like my dream like ken like ryan gosling ken from barbie
10:20There you go like that's my dream role, you know something like that where you don't have to do too much
10:27Just show up and take a shower they're like all right right
10:29That's who i am as a person as you saw so
10:33Yeah, don't even know your lies and it's part of the character. You're like
10:35I'm like
10:37Yeah, I think I would be close with what you were saying about like the antihero like the guy who is
10:45The hero but also you're worried could murder everyone
10:49Like that sounds pretty rad to me
10:51I also like just having that like that little bit of unhinged energy that you can throw in every once in a while
10:57Because like a lot of times like especially with the ceos
10:59It's very like stoic emotionally reserved and stuff like that
11:02But if you can go from that to suddenly just flipping into this like in a moment
11:07You want to be unhinged
11:09And so it'd be fun to just suddenly be like, you know
11:13I'm gonna tie you up in a basement and torture you not kill you kind of a situation
11:17You know what I mean?
11:17Like that's what I would want to do to somebody that would touch my daughter
11:21Yeah, that's like those kind of characters that are like
11:24They're good
11:26But they're also like they came from bad
11:29Is very fun
11:30Love it
11:31All right, let's do the last question. Shall we?
11:32This is from b cor cornoir good luck with that brother. What was your most awkward scene to film?
11:38That's a tough one for me. It'll probably be one where I was actually
11:43Running late to set because of la traffic. It happens. I know
11:48Shake my head. I was running late
11:49So they were I only had one scene to shoot that day and it was my first day on the shoot
11:53And it was my character cheating on the main girl with you know his mistress and so I get to set and I'm literally like in sweats
12:01I just pulled up and they're like hey, Jeff
12:04You're we're ready for you for a rehearsal the intimacy coordinator comes in like here's some mouthwash
12:09I did I not like set my stuff down. I not like met anybody on this set and then they're like
12:15Yeah, we're gonna get into we're shooting your scene
12:17I'm like now because usually they call you like you have some time to like get in makeup and like wardrobe
12:22They're like no, you're you're like going like now and then I had to like meet my co-star
12:26I'll be like hi nice to meet you and then we start making out with like immediately and it was
12:32And that was and then after that scene. I was only there for like 45 minutes
12:35Like all right, you're wrapped for the day like all that for that
12:39Just showed up just yeah, and so
12:42Yeah, but real sure. It's really great. They always have like an instant intimacy coordinator
12:47Where there's mouthwash you talk about what's going on in the scene
12:50Um, like how long you're gonna hold the kisses so like even though I just met this co-star
12:55They created like this really safe and comfortable space to make that magic happen, so
13:00Shout out to all the intimacy coordinators. Yeah, it's a hard word to say
13:05As your your resident himbo and shout out to all the intimacy coordinators
13:09Co-coordinators. Intimacy coordinators
13:11Intimacy coordinators
13:21Yeah
