00:22Hey, Real Short, this is Adam Daniel.
00:24I am currently on set.
00:26Quick little thing about my character in this one.
00:28He is not the CEO, but he's trying to be.
00:32And you know what that means.
00:34There's a lot of nefarious, sneaky, dastardly things
00:38he's gonna try to do to get that.
00:40And I can't wait for you to see it.
00:42It's gonna be so different, but it's super exciting.
00:45We have a phenomenal cast.

00:49Alright Sam, so tell me, what was your approach to doing this one?
00:59I kind of had to think about my own personal life.
01:02I'm not hearing impaired, but I do have a disability.
01:06I have moments and times in my life where I can't talk.
01:09I become mute.
01:10And I do have to use sign language in those times.
01:12And so that's sort of how I ended up sort of relating to this character.
01:15So I'll think about what it's like when I do have those episodes when I'm mute.
01:18And then I just apply it that way.
01:20Being mute isn't something that I'm necessarily ashamed of.
01:23It's not something I talk about very often.
01:25Right.
01:26But it is something that, you know, when I have the chance to be able to express that part of me, I get really excited about it.
01:32Mm-hmm.
01:33Because, you know, you can relate to other people who, you know, maybe are going through something similar to this.
01:38Awesome.
01:39Well, I'm so excited to see you punch down and slap a b****.
01:43Yeah.
01:48So right now, we're here with my buddy Thomas.

02:43As you can see, we have payroll, which is fun.
02:47We have a foundation, which you always need.
02:49We have the president's office.
02:51Someone in this show should be a CEO president vibe.

02:57Always need that when I'm around.
03:01And the boardroom.
03:02Okay.
03:03I have no idea what this place is, by the way.
03:05No idea.
03:06So let's try to figure it out.

03:20I'm in my era.

03:31And so I basically just kind of stick it to my husband, who's been a real knucklehead the
03:40entire show.
03:41Oh, so it's like your revenge moment.
03:43Yeah.
03:44Oh, I can't wait to see it.

03:48They're about to roll.
03:49I gotta go.

03:55So we're on set right now.
03:56They're doing a little rehearsal.
03:57Things are about to heat up.
03:58I think they're rehearsing a big old punch or slap situation.
04:02And as you know, it can get a little crazy on set.
04:05So we'll see how it's going to go.
04:07I'm a little nervous.
04:08I'm excited for Sam.
04:10It's a revenge moment.
04:11So you just had a nice juicy revenge moment.
04:22How did that feel for your character?
04:23Oh, fantastic.
04:24I love crying on camera.
04:26I feel like that's a very you thing.
04:28Like you're really good at it.
04:29I always feel like I want to like vomit after the scene because my stomach starts hurting.
04:33Yes.
04:34But I had to do this like this like slap, which is so fun because there's this emotional buildup where he's dogging on deaf people with me, which is just awful.
04:43And I just get so angry about it.
04:45And because when you do a slap on stage, you're like, and you step into it.
04:49But I wasn't allowed to do that because vertical format is like pea sized.
04:53So yeah, I had to like figure out how to do it without stepping forward.
04:56That was fun.
04:57Felt good.
04:58Felt good.
04:59Okay.
05:00So tell me, you just got exposed in that scene.
05:03How does it feel?
05:04Hurts.
05:05Hurts a little bit.
05:06I got slapped twice.
05:08For all of you out there, just to know like, this is not me.
05:13Okay.
05:14This is a character, but no, I love it.
05:18And I want like the both of them.
05:20I want like the brother and sister just to like, ah, he's so mean, come down.
05:24And then just everyone like piles on you guys like jump on.
05:28And then just like the comments just keep coming.
05:31Like, ah, destroy that guy.
05:32So just everyone gets the brother down.
05:35He deserved it.
05:36He really, really deserved it.
05:37So, so wait, tell me a little bit about your character.
05:40You are a bad guy in this one, right?
05:42He is a definitely a bad guy.
05:44Yeah.
05:45He's not good.
05:46He's really nasty, but does he think so?
05:49Probably not.
05:50He's probably like, Hey, I deserve this.
05:52He is bad.
05:53And he just treats everyone like dirt and garbage.
05:56And it's awful, but I love that I get to do it.
06:01Do you like playing the villain?
06:03No.
06:04Hates it.
06:05No.
06:06I want to be the hero.
06:07You want to be the hero.
06:08I want to be the hero.
06:09I like being the hero.
06:10Well, you're the hero in my eyes as a villain.
06:11Aw, thank you.

06:21I haven't met him yet, but he looks all bruised up.
06:22So I feel like he's a villain.
06:24Maybe he's limping.
06:26Maybe he's going to get hit again.

06:44Well, when you walked in, you were giving villain.

06:47That's what I think.
06:48Yeah.
06:49I played a villain actually last time, but leave it or not, good guy.

06:55He's a good guy.
06:56I just fell into the face.
06:57So he beat you up.
06:58Got locked in a storage unit and just, they caught me slacking.

07:02How do you see the vestiges, believe it or not.

07:13I love getting to play the villain.

07:39How did you approach your role in this one?
07:41So this one was actually kind of special.
07:46Samantha Drews, who plays my wife, my deaf wife.
07:49This gave me an incredible opportunity to bring out my sign language.
07:56And I haven't used that in a long, long time.
07:59So I spent the last week just relearning everything.
08:05And I hear, I hear.
08:06He's got to go.
08:07The star's got to go.
08:08I hear my name.
08:09But thank you.
