00:00I want to know, what's romance like on set?
00:02Sometimes, not gonna name names.
00:06Who is that?
00:07Red flag.
00:09If you're always or in beef with one of your friends.
00:13Red flag.
00:14That's such a red flag.
00:15Red flag, everybody.
00:17Welcome to Real Talk.
00:18I'm your host, Rachel, where it gets hot, spicy, and to the drama.
00:25Breaking the Ice has been doing so well, guys.
00:28Have you guys checked the numbers recently?
00:30Last I checked, I know it hit over 200 million, but I haven't checked recently.
00:34Have you been looking?
00:35Yeah, I checked quite often.
00:38230 million.
00:39How did that change your life after receiving over 230 million views on a show?
00:45I would say that it had some impact on your personal life.
00:48Yeah, I mean, it's definitely opened up a lot of doors professionally in this industry.
00:53Like, I'm now getting, you know, looked at and auditions for, you know, paying Netflix, Hulu series.
01:01Like, you know, casting directors have definitely taken notice for that, which is awesome.
01:06On top of, like, the different, you know, brands that have reached out for collaborations.
01:10And also, it's opened up those avenues as well.
01:13Yeah, I mean, I haven't stopped working since Breaking the Ice.
01:16That's, I think, I've worked, I don't know the last time I had more than a few days off of work, which has been the biggest blessing in the world.
01:23You said people recognize you when you step outside.
01:26They start to recognize you, too.
01:27How does that feel to be recognized when you're just doing your everyday errands and just running around?
01:33It's crazy.
01:34It's really insane because it is one of those things you don't, I don't know, you don't think about.
01:38Because for us, we would just, we went to work and we did what we loved and then whatever happened, happened.
01:43So it's crazy to think that people would recognize us.
01:45We got recognized together while we were filming for our new show.
01:50We were, like, grabbing coffee, like, one morning and somebody, like, was she working?
01:56Did she work at the place?
01:56Yeah, she was the barista at this coffee shop that we went to.
01:59And we even got our coffee and we walked out and we were at the, like, streetlight to go back to our hotel.
02:05And she came right out.
02:06She's like, hi.
02:07Yeah.
02:08How are you, Caroline?
02:09I mean, everybody loves Breaking Ice.
02:10On social media, they go crazy over all the scenes and all the interactions between you two.
02:16I think this next show will be the same.
02:19Yeah.
02:20I hope so.
02:21We had a lot of fun.
02:23Same vibe, same high energy, same passion put into it.
02:27A different storyline.
02:28How was, like, your overall experience just shooting for Breaking the Ice and overall with Real Short?
02:33I know it's changed your life so much.
02:35It opened up doors with different brands and different opportunities.
02:37But I'd love to know what was your experience overall just shooting it?
02:41I mean, phenomenal.
02:41I mean, every time working with Real Short is amazing and very professional and just flows really well.
02:48I think our entire cast had just a lot of fun and we all genuinely enjoy each other as people.
02:53So, that really helps, like, the whole process.
02:57And it was just a really fun time.
02:59And the boys got to play around.
03:01Yeah.
03:01Do what they thought you do.
03:03My whole, like, the first, like, four days of shooting it was us, like, at the hockey rink, like, doing all the hockey scenes.
03:10And all the guys that were playing the hockey player roles actually played hockey.
03:15So, I remember we were sitting in the locker room, like, getting dressed.
03:18Oh, the locker room.
03:19And I played hockey for 15 years, which a lot of people don't know that.
03:23So, it was very – it felt like I was getting ready, like, with – I was just with the guys going out to, you know, play hockey.
03:28That's, like, that's the best part of playing, you know, any sport, really.
03:32Like, it felt natural since it was something –
03:34Yeah, it felt like, yeah, it wasn't like we were acting or anything.
03:37It was just like, yeah, what's up, boys?
03:39Like, we were, you know, just fun working with them.
03:41They were all so cute doing that.
03:42They were all, like, out on the ring.
03:43They would be having so much fun and just playing around when the cameras weren't even rolling.
03:47And they were just, like, out there playing.
03:49And all the girls would be, like, taking our little videos of them wrapped up in our five blankets because we were in crop tops and an ice rink.
03:55I don't know if anybody knows that in the show.
03:57But it looked really cute.
03:59But it was freezing.
04:00And we'd be taking videos of them.
04:02They were having so much fun.
04:03I think that energy definitely transferred into the series.
04:06Yeah.
04:06Because it was very organic, very – just a good storytelling.
04:11And I think the energy there was very embodied by what you said was going on on set.
04:15Yeah.
04:15We had a great, yeah, rapport with everyone on set.
04:20Everyone – all the other actors and actresses and the crew and the director, Vivian.
04:25And, like, we all just meshed together so well.
04:28And we all were on the same page about accomplishing the same goal.
04:31There was not a lot of lollagagging.
04:33And, yeah, I don't know.
04:35Every real store project I ever work on always goes, like, so smoothly and done, like, so professionally.
04:42Well, that's really good to hear.
04:43And it's really good to hear also that you had a good time.
04:45And also that you got to play a role that was so natural to you.
04:48I know that you played hockey.
04:50But is there any other sports that you've played?
04:52Yeah.
04:52So I played hockey growing up.
04:53That was, like, my favorite sport growing up.
04:56But I – I mean, I was a – I played a lot of sports.
04:58But I played football.
05:00I played football in college.
05:01That was, like, my best sport, my sport that I was best at.
05:04I really enjoyed football.
05:06I wrestled.
05:07Wrestling, not –
05:08Not so much.
05:09Not so much.
05:10Cutting weight, all that.
05:11I wasn't a big fan of that.
05:12And then I played – I ran track.
05:14Oh, cool.
05:14I loved running track.
05:16What about you?
05:16Track was, like, one sport that I was, like, not that great.
05:19But I had so much fun, like, at the track meets and stuff.
05:22But, yeah, I love just playing any sort of sports.
05:25So that role was definitely just natural for you to just be that.
05:28Oh, yeah.
05:28Well, I remember – I remember when they sent me the –
05:31Breakdown?
05:32The breakdown for it, yeah.
05:33And I was, like, oh.
05:34I was, like –
05:35This is me.
05:35This is, like, me.
05:36This is meant to be.
05:37I was, like, I don't even have to act in this.
05:38I just get to play myself, essentially.
05:39Which is so fun.
05:41Yeah.
05:41It was so cool.
05:42And I literally hit him back.
05:43I'm, like, you're not going to find a single person in this town who's better at this role than me.
05:47Single person in this town.
05:48And that's why that show has 230 million views.
05:52Yep.
05:54It's really good to hear that you guys have a really positive experience with Rochert.
05:57I want to know, what was your favorite moments on set?
05:59Oh, my gosh.
06:00So many.
06:01I mean, I – sweet, sweet Ellison, who played Hayley in Breaking the Ice.
06:06I love her with my whole heart.
06:07She spent, like, hours, probably maybe even days.
06:09I don't even know how long we were learning that.
06:11We were learning this TikTok dance that we ended up posting.
06:14And very last day on set, on our lunch break, we went and we filmed this dance that we had been learning for so long.
06:21And she was so excited about.
06:22And was a really great teacher for.
06:24And so that was, like, probably one of my favorite things.
06:26Because we would just pull – anytime we had a second, we'd, like, go to the side and we'd be like, okay.
06:29And we were, like, learning this little dance together.
06:32I think it was, like, the nostalgia, too, of, like, wrapping up such a good sound.
06:35Such a good, like, acting.
06:37Yeah.
06:37It was great.
06:38It was really fun.
06:39I love TikTok dancing, even though I'm not the best.
06:42We did Brat Summer.
06:43Yeah.
06:44We did some TikTok dances.
06:52Yeah.
06:53Nicole did good.
06:54She taught us how to do it.
06:55You did so well.
06:56We spent so long learning them.
06:57I know you guys did a lot of videos on TikTok while doing Breaking Ice.
07:00Did you guys – any, like, cool comments or any, like, interesting conversations from fans or on the show?
07:06I mean, my thing is people always just ask me if Ellison's my actual daughter in real life.
07:11Like, I get that every day to this day.
07:13I will constantly get people asking if she's my real-life daughter, which, honestly, I'm flattered.
07:18Because she's so gorgeous and so perfect.
07:20And I'm, like – I feel, like, second-hand motherly to her.
07:24Like, I'm, like, so proud of everything she does.
07:26You guys look like a family show.
07:27Which is crazy casting.
07:29Yeah.
07:29But that's, I think, the biggest thing that – the first time somebody asked me that, I was kind of shocked.
07:33Because I was, like –
07:33Is this your real daughter?
07:34I don't have a 10-year-old.
07:36Yeah.
07:36I was, like, what?
07:38What about you, Seth?
07:39Do you get the same type of comments and the same type of questions?
07:41I get different comments and questions.
07:45I would – on it to – okay.
07:47To be honest, the most common question I get asked is, are me and Nicole dating in real life?
07:58Yeah, that's –
07:58We're just –
08:00Social interactions are insane for breaking the ice.
08:05And it's so interesting to see how the show has been watched worldwide.
08:10There's so many different cities.
08:11There's so many fans all over watching you guys.
08:14Have you guys ever, like, interacted with anyone outside of, like, the United States or any other fans?
08:19Every day, I get such wonderful and supportive messages from people all over the world.
08:25I know Jakarta in Indonesia.
08:28That's where my biggest fan base is located.
08:30So, shout-out to Jakarta.
08:33Fun fact, actually, is that my mom graduated high school from Jakarta.
08:37Wow, so interesting.
08:38Yeah.
08:39Small world.
08:40But also, I know Sao Paulo, Mexico City, United Kingdom.
08:45They all are big fans of the show as well.
08:48So, I appreciate all their love and support.
08:50What about you, Nicole?
08:51Is there any fans you want to send a little shout-out?
08:53Yeah.
08:54Well, I mean, same thing.
08:54I mean, trying to keep up with all of the messages has been just insane.
08:58It's impossible.
08:59You guys are so nice.
09:00We're so, we're, like, so thankful.
09:02It's, like, actually insane, like, trying to keep up.
09:05And we really, we do try to.
09:07I try to, like, see and interact as much as I can.
09:09I think my biggest fan base and the people who reach out the most are, I mean, I'm from Texas.
09:15A lot of people from San Antonio.
09:16A lot of people from Austin.
09:17Outside of the U.S., big in the Philippines and the U.K.
09:21A lot, too, and Brazil.
09:22So, shout-out to everybody.
09:26All of those, everybody.
09:27It's been, it's been insane.
09:29Also, shout-out to Egypt.
09:31I got a message yesterday from someone from Cairo.
09:34And another fun fact, my mom graduated high school from Jakarta.
09:38But before she went to high school in Jakarta, she lived in Cairo for four years.
09:43Oh, wow.
09:44So, that was actually really cool to see that kind of come full circle as well.
09:48And I really want to visit both of those countries, like, very, like, someday.
09:53Like, I really, really want to see that side of the world.
09:56Yeah.
09:56Hopefully one day.
09:57So, thank you for the support.
09:59Of course.
09:59I mean, right now, you're being recognized here in L.A. when you're walking around and
10:03when you guys travel.
10:04I'm sure you're going to be recognized worldwide soon.
10:07And maybe you'll get a chance to meet some of your friends in Jakarta and outside in the
10:11Philippines.
10:12That would be amazing.
10:12I would love that.
10:13Yeah.
10:13It would be so great.
10:14So, they've been so supportive.
10:16They're, it's, you know, it's, the fans are the reason the show has become what it's
10:20become, so.
10:21I'm glad they loved it as much as they love filming it.
10:23I'm glad, like, so blessed and honored that they loved it.
10:29Well, that's a good way to transition into some other questions I had in mind.
10:32I really want to get to know a little bit about your personal lives and who you guys
10:35are off set.
10:37Off set, talent, personality.
10:38Let's go.
10:40What is the real Seth and Nicole like?
10:45And how is it different from what you play on set and who you are when you come to set?
10:49That's a good question.
10:50I mean, I think for me, I, like, I always try to find a piece of myself in my roles.
10:56Um, I don't know.
10:58I don't know how I'm really different.
10:59I think I'm, I'm just somebody, I'm very high energy.
11:01I'm very, like, to, like, see positive views on the world.
11:05I like to spin everything kind of positively, which I guess is a little different than my
11:08characters because they are going through so much, um, every day, all the time.
11:13So, yeah, I don't know.
11:14I feel like it's kind of me.
11:17It's kind of me.
11:18Who is that?
11:19Yeah, I am very different in real life than I am in most of my roles.
11:26Um, the hockey one was a little different, but most of the time when I'm playing these,
11:29you know, billionaires, they're these very, like, stoic, like, cold kind of, like, guys
11:37for the most part.
11:38Um, each character is, like, kind of a different shade of that.
11:41What adjectives would you use to describe yourself?
11:43I'm very playful, I'm very silly, I'm very goofy.
11:48The complete opposite, then.
11:49The complete opposite.
11:51So, sometimes, especially, I'm much better now.
11:55Um, but, like, I'm still, like, really new to acting, so I've gotten a lot better at, you
12:03know, learning more about, because that, one of the great parts about acting is you get
12:06to learn about these different, like, Nicole was saying, like, each role you're playing,
12:10that's essentially just, like, a version of yourself is, like, what it is.
12:13So, I'm learning, you know, kind of what the cold, stoic version of myself is, because
12:18I'm not that in real life, like, at all.
12:21I'm very warm, so, like, friendly, like, I want to make sure everyone's, you know, comfortable.
12:26I never want anyone to, like, have a bad time around me.
12:29And, uh, that's why I love shooting with Nicole so much, because she's also, like, brings
12:33such a positive attitude, and it's so easy to work with.
12:36She's upbeat, high energy, and everything.
12:38So, it really plays well with my playful goofiness.
12:41Would you guys say, like, the roles that you guys play help you kind of, like, search for
12:46who you are?
12:47Like you said, um, you're kind of tapping into those stoic, more, like, areas of your personality
12:53that you kind of usually don't levitate toward, that you don't present as, through those roles
12:58that you're playing of more, like, stoic billionaires?
13:00Yeah, I just learn, I learn more about myself every time I do, because there's different emotions,
13:05for sure, um, because in real life, we all get into a cycle of kind of, you're the
13:11same person, you know, all the time, you kind of, when you're sad, you kind of go through
13:15the same, you know, emotions of sadness, and all that sort of things.
13:19Um, unless, like, a certain specific situation calls for you to be a certain way, that doesn't
13:23typically happen too much, because it'll be outside of your comfort zone.
13:26Because you channel those feelings that you don't explore on an everyday basis, through
13:31the different characters and roles that you play on the set.
13:33Yeah, like, for example, I'm not a jealous person, I'm, like, the most, least jealous
13:38person ever, I want everyone to do better, I don't ever get jealous of anyone.
13:42My character sometimes has to act very jealous and stuff, so it's been, uh, fun to kind of
13:48learn how to play, like, a jealous, like, person and feel those feelings of, like, real jealousy.
13:53Do you think you have a better understanding of them, now that you've kind of, like, acted through them?
13:57Mm-hmm, yeah, I definitely, definitely do, um, but that's, like, one of the great parts
14:01about acting, is you get, I've been able to learn, you know, these different, you know,
14:05sorts of thoughts and emotions that I normally don't have in real life.
14:09I guess, Nicole, since kind of, like, you're bubbly, and you can adapt, and kind of, like,
14:13this camouflage type of personality, what would you say would be, like, a really hard role?
14:17Would it be, like, opposite of really what you are?
14:19Well, my, the, because, I mean, like Seth was saying, there's just, like, certain things
14:23that are tough to get to. For me, it's, like, anger, any, like, like, that pure, like, seeing
14:29red anger is just not something I'm.
14:32I can see that, because it's the opposite of bubbly.
14:34Yeah, I've just, it's something I've never, I'm not, like, a comfortable, like, getting
14:38there most of the time in my life. So, like, as I'm working on roles more, and a lot of these
14:42have at least one moment of just, like, pure anger. Um, so, like, working on these has been
14:48really helpful for that, and seeing different ways of showcasing it, and trying to just dig
14:51into that, and, like, allowing yourself to kind of feel the range of emotions there.
14:57Yeah, I think that's pretty interesting, because, you know, like you said, you get to kind of
15:01channel that, those emotions, and kind of experience yourself in a way that you don't usually experience
15:07yourself in. So, we have a great idea of who you guys are on set, and who you guys are
15:11off set. I'd love to know what it's like, what's your dating life like? I know the fans
15:20want to know. Go ahead.
15:23Well, funny you ask that. It hasn't been too spicy as of late, because I've been working so much.
15:32Wait, are you both single?
15:34Yes.
15:35Maybe.
15:37Why?
15:37Okay.
15:38Why are you asking?
15:39Why?
15:40I'm asking because we're starting the conversation.
15:42Single's a very broad term, Rachel.
15:44We'll keep it mysterious. But what is it like? Give your fans a little sneak peek on what
15:52it's like dating Seth.
15:53I can be very picky, kind of. Or I'm very, not picky, I'm very, like, particular.
15:58So, you're picky, but not jealous.
16:00Not jealous.
16:02Okay.
16:02But I just don't like a lot of drama and stuff. So, really don't enjoy having drama.
16:10Having seven girls show up to a date?
16:12I don't enjoy showing up to a date and having their seven friends come and interrogate me.
16:16It's a bit dramatic. So, I worry about things like that. But, I don't know. It's, I don't
16:23know. It's something about this time of year in particular that I kind of...
16:26Re-evaluate your pickiness.
16:29It's the relationship.
16:30I like having...
16:31It's the nostalgia.
16:32I like having, you know, someone around.
16:34It's nice. I like having someone to keep me company.
16:37And the tradition.
16:38Yeah.
16:38And the cute stuff.
16:39But, yeah, the dating life. Yeah, the dating life. It's fun.
16:44We'll keep the drama on set. How about that?
16:47Yes.
16:47On set.
16:47Because our jobs are very dramatic.
16:50Wow.
16:51What about you, Nicole?
16:51Yeah. I mean, kind of similar in the sense that I'm very picky also. And I feel like
16:57we don't have very much time to date. So, we barely have time to, like, see our friends
17:04and family who are the people who have been there before we started actively working in
17:09our career. So, if you're going to spend what little free time you have with somebody,
17:12I feel like it's just, like, you just have to be, like, specific about who it's going
17:16to be. So, you know, and that's...
17:18Yeah.
17:18Yeah. So, you're a little picky too.
17:19I don't leave room for many dates.
17:21So, you're being a little picky too right now with your dating and you're focusing more
17:24on your career.
17:25Yeah, absolutely. And it's very much like...
17:26Go with the flow.
17:27Yeah. Not just running around dating. I don't... A lot of my friends will have full rosters
17:34of people.
17:35How?
17:35I don't... I don't know how people do that.
17:37Because usually, like, with me, I have a type.
17:40Yeah, fair.
17:40And sometimes it's a little hard to find that type. I mean, what's your type?
17:44And it's just more about, like, who I... Like, if I click with somebody and if somebody
17:48fits into my, like, friends and family. Because I feel like...
17:52I don't know. So, you focus more on, like, the connection type.
17:54Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Like, I mean, looking at, like, past exes and everything, they're
17:59all very different. But they do all have that...
18:02Yeah. So, what's that type? Like, what is that?
18:06Someone who can, like, hold their own at social events because that's a big part of our jobs
18:10is going to events. And so, it needs to be somebody who can be there for that and who
18:15can kind of hold their own in that regard. And just, yeah, somebody who's, like, kind
18:21and just, like, a kind heart is a big, big part of what I look for.
18:27You need someone that can keep up with the fun.
18:29Yeah, can keep up with the fun and who can also be, like, a little grounded at the same
18:32time.
18:33So, it's a good balance.
18:33Yeah.
18:34Yeah.
18:35What about you, Seth?
18:35I like really sweet girls. I'm, like, very sweet, adorable girl. I don't, like, because
18:44I can get as no mean girls. I have no time for that mean girl stuff. I hate being involved
18:51in, like, drama, which there's always so much drama. Like, oh, my gosh. All right.
18:57What's a very sweet girl? Like, what's the sweetest thing a girl has done for you or said?
19:03Got him a, um, thermal massage gun.
19:06Brought me a present and they brought me a massage gun because, you know, my back gets
19:10so we're on set from standing.
19:11Intentional gifting.
19:12Intentional gifting. No, it's, like, the little things, like, when I'm, like, not expecting
19:18it. I don't know. There's just, like, a sweetness and an aura about, uh, certain girls that I
19:24really like. And then there's some girls that are very dramatic or not even dramatic, but
19:31they just, like, they, yeah, they just, they're mean girls, kind of, I guess, in a sense.
19:37And there's always something wrong. And they're always, like, in a fight with one of their
19:42friends or, like, blah, blah, blah.
19:43What's a mean girl to you? Like, what is, can we define that?
19:46Uh, someone who, all, red flag. If you're always or in beef with one of your friends.
19:54Red flag.
19:54Red flag, everybody. If you're beefing with your friend all the time, it's a red flag for
20:01Seth even.
20:01Yeah, it is so common that I will be talking to a girl and she'll, like, mention, it'll
20:06be, like, when I first meet them, like, okay, this is my friend. And then five minutes later,
20:10like, yeah, I hate that, blah, blah, blah. And I'm, like, nope, I'm done. Like, I'm not
20:15doing that. So, I would be, like, a very hard line about that. So, because I don't want
20:19that being brought into my life. Because if I'm going to date someone, it will, it's
20:24going to, their life becomes your life and vice versa.
20:27Yeah.
20:27Yeah.
20:27Yeah. So, well, also what you said, like, being, uh, somewhat independent and, you know,
20:32like, we go to events and stuff. Like, I don't want to be, like, babysitting someone,
20:37I guess, or whatever. Like, I like someone who can, who's very outgoing, likes to go out
20:41and, you know, talk to people. And if I have to leave for, like, 10 minutes or
20:46whatever, like, they're going to be, like, fine and stuff. So, that's also very
20:51important. But, yeah.
20:52I mean, you have to, for what you guys do in your careers, you know, just events and
20:56being able to socialize and network. I mean, I can see a little bit of why, even
21:02just talking to you guys, like, the things that you guys like and your types. I want
21:06to know, like, what are your pet peeves when dating?
21:08Drama for him, clearly.
21:09Drama.
21:09Really?
21:10You know we don't. He doesn't like drama.
21:12I don't want, I, yeah.
21:15My biggest pet peeve in the world with dating is somebody who doesn't try to get to know
21:20the important people in my life, which does happen. You know, there are some people who
21:24just live their own lives and don't try to, like, yeah, just, like, get to know anything
21:28about, like.
21:28Or, like, incorporate themselves with your daily life or, like, your people.
21:31My roommate, even. My best friend. Yeah.
21:34My, yeah, just, like, have a conversation with my parents. Talk to my dad. Like, do, like,
21:39that's a big pet peeve of mine is people who just don't try to get to know important people
21:44to me. Because I'm like, if they're important to me.
21:45Yeah, because it's your community and you want to bring that person into your community.
21:49I mean, that's, that's something that would definitely bother me, too.
21:52That's, yeah, that's number one.
21:53Seth, I know it's drama, but what else? What is one of your pet peeves?
21:57One of my pet peeves, someone who has no ambition in life. So, who doesn't really have, like,
22:06a goal or anything to really, like, want to do. Like, no passion, like, no real, like,
22:11hobbies or anything like that. Because I don't have, I have, like, a handful of things that
22:16I love and I always do them. And, like, without a doubt, like, no matter, things are going good
22:22and bad in my career or whatever, like, I always have these passions I can always fall back on.
22:27And they, and I love doing them. So, I've dated, I've had dating experiences where they don't have
22:33that. And I'm like, do something. Like, I want you to be some, have something to be passionate
22:39about. Because I think it's, and I don't even care what it is. If you're passionate about knitting,
22:43like, it's always so cool when you see someone, like, doing something they really love or they're
22:47really passionate about. Watching someone's own is the best. Yes, yes, yes. Like, for instance,
22:52Nicole loves acting, talking about acting, the whole craft of acting. So, watching her, like,
22:58light up when she talks about anything acting related is, like, so cool. That's so sweet.
23:03Thank you. I think it's beautiful to see someone, like, passionate about something. Yeah. It doesn't
23:08even matter what it is. It's just that passion and that human emotion is, like, beautiful to witness.
23:12Yeah. So, Real Short is all about romance. I want to know, what's romance like on set?
23:19So, is there a romance or... So, sometimes, not going to name names,
23:26but it gets spicy. I know way too many stories of people that can't quite separate work and personal
23:37life like that. I know one person in particular was stating on the show called and, like,
23:48it started off good. And then, by the end of it, the whole show just went so bad. And this guy was
23:57literally, not even the girl, the guy, was, like, crying. Literally crying because
24:03had to kiss someone else on the set. And he was, like, having a full, like, breakdown.
24:10Wow. So, jealousy... Yeah. And it happened that quick. Like,
24:14it was, like, day one, I think, by, like, day four or whatever. Like,
24:18allegedly... We're really, like, canoodling. And... Is it easy to fall, like, in love with your,
24:26like, co-star or your lead? Most of the time, you... When you're at work, you know you're at work.
24:33And so, it's, like, you have... At least for me, I don't know. Like, you have, like, the... You have
24:37your people in a box of you're at work and you kind of leave that there. I think where it gets messy
24:44for a lot of people is when you hang out, like, in real life. And then that's kind of where I feel
24:49like boundaries can start to cross because it's not, like, the, oh, this is just at work versus...
24:55Because in the acting world, I do see a lot of, like, people that work together on set. They end up
25:02dating and the fans are always so interested in knowing if it's true or if it's acting, which is
25:08also, like, part of the interestingness of it. But on set, you guys have experienced that it becomes a
25:12little difficult to separate. And that there's people that sometimes will get very emotional about
25:17certain things that just require... That it's just the job, yeah. Like, a kiss or something like that.
25:22I think it's just... I think it's really, really, especially for these Vertical Mobisode series, like,
25:27I think it's so important to be able to differentiate when you're at work and when you're not. Because,
25:34like Seth was saying, it can get messy if you're... You can't differentiate.
25:39And it'll derail your entire show. Yeah.
25:41Yeah. And you want to keep the romance. And I feel like our shows are so romantic that,
25:45you know, it's kind of hard to separate those emotions that you're feeling while you're acting
25:49and you're on set, whether it's a kiss or a sweet hug. And then, as you said, Nicole,
25:54it probably will get worse if you hang out after. And, you know, you don't... You don't... You can't
25:59separate that personal and work life. That's where it gets messy sometimes. Because my, like, number one
26:04thing I always want to make sure is my chemistry with the other lead actress is, like, great. Yeah. So,
26:12I will go to crazy lengths to make sure because I want my shows... You have good standing. Yeah. We want, like,
26:18our shows to do well. Yeah. So... And then sometimes, like, it's happened to me earlier in my career,
26:26where, like, on set, I was like, okay. And then I would hang out with them off set. I'm like, wait, like,
26:30some of these feelings are kind of, like... Transferring over. Transferring over a little
26:33bit. I'm like... And then you're like, is this real? And then you're like, wait, is this real?
26:37Is this actually what I'm feeling? Yeah. So, I was definitely, like, it took a while. I mean,
26:43every chemistry is different with every person, but I can definitely think of a couple instances where
26:47I found, like, thinking to myself, like, is this, like... Is this acting? I was like, I don't think I'm
26:55acting anymore. Like, I think I'm, like, really, like, getting feelings for this person, so... And I guess
27:00that brings up a question. I mean, if you're dating on set and you're, like, a couple on set,
27:05how do you transfer that to, like, personal life? Like, do you start from step one after you guys
27:10already kissed in a scene or held hands? Are you now shy to hold hands again? How does that translate?
27:17I actually don't know. Have you ever dated your co-star or, like, anyone that you were on a show with?
27:23I've... Not, like, co-star, but somebody that I met on set have... Became just good friends with,
27:30and then just one of those things where as we were hanging out one day was, like,
27:35whoa, this is a little different. Like, this doesn't feel like friendship anymore.
27:38Yeah. And it just... But then it was a matter of both actors, when do we have time to see each other?
27:44So, you know, timeline-wise, I never really got a chance to, like, explore it, figure it out.
27:51I've had one instance where I started dating someone that I was on set with, and that was when I was very
27:57new to this game and learned a valuable lesson. Don't take your work home with you in that way,
28:05because it can get messy. And especially, like, in this industry, like, I don't know. It was just a big
28:11lesson that I learned, for sure, because this is what these shows are. There's a lot of romantic things
28:16that get involved, so you have to really know and understand that going into it. And when you're
28:21first new to it, it can be kind of difficult to... To separate. To separate, yeah. So...
28:29Well, thanks so much, Seth and Nicole, for coming today and telling us a little bit more of the new
28:33projects that you guys have in store and about your personal lives. We really loved having you guys,
28:37but before you guys go, we have a little tradition here at Real Talk, and I would love for you guys to
28:43take a Polaroid. I mean, let's stick up.
