00:00I do have some exciting news. I want to take a look at your new show and see how you guys,
00:09I don't think you guys have watched it yet, right? No. No, it's not out yet. Not at all.
00:14Let's take a look together and see how you guys feel about a couple of scenes.
00:22You wore that dress a lot, I think. Yeah, I did. We have to get you to a doctor.
00:26What's a doctor going to do? Oh, I didn't see this. Okay.
00:30I mean, I wasn't in this. It was emotional.
00:31Get you into the new clinical trial, okay? We can't afford it.
00:35I'm so nervous to watch this.
00:38You look great. She was good, huh? She was great.
00:41So now I'm cancer-free, but now we're freaking over.
00:44And she looks and sounds like sick.
00:46Why did mom and dad adopt such an idiot?
00:49Oh. Okay.
00:53That was such a good reaction. Gathered yourself. Patience.
01:00Adopted or not?
01:03I don't think.
01:06How can you say that?
01:08After we both love you.
01:10It's so hard to watch yourself.
01:12You're all I have left, Maya.
01:13I'm sorry, Katie.
01:17You got into Princeton, had to drop out to take care of me, and I'm just so tired of ruining it.
01:23It looks, like, visually great.
01:24It looks good.
01:25Yeah.
01:25You should just let me die.
01:26And without you, who would I have left to live for?
01:33Okay.
01:35I'll get you into that clinical contract, no matter what.
01:39What did she give you?
01:40Yeah, I wasn't sure.
01:41Your house.
01:42Ooh.
01:42How did she have it? Who was that?
01:44I love that I just enter your house.
01:46Yeah.
01:46And this is such a great seat.
01:47And that's, like, such an old...
01:48Yeah.
01:50Do I not have an alarm system on there?
01:53You'd think a billionaire.
01:54I'm, like, oh, I'll make myself comfortable.
02:00You seem scared as hell.
02:02Holy crap.
02:07A moment for the mansion.
02:09Whoa.
02:10Oh.
02:11Oh.
02:11Oh.
02:11Oh, DeWitt loved that shot.
02:13He was our DP.
02:21Oh.
02:22Oh.
02:23Oh.
02:24There he is.
02:25It must be Evan Brandt.
02:26Oh, crap.
02:27This is a horrible first impression.
02:29I am so, so sorry.
02:35Here, let me...
02:36Oh.
02:40Oh.
02:41Oh.
02:41Spicy.
02:43Don't worry about it.
02:44I wouldn't want you to get your dress dirty.
02:46That would be a shame.
02:52I can clean it for you.
02:53Don't worry about it.
02:54I forgot who I was.
02:57Because we did this, like, late in the shoot.
02:59Matter of fact, go grab me one from the dresser.
03:03Oh, no.
03:03The whole thing.
03:05And we kept refolding it.
03:07Oh.
03:08There it goes.
03:09Oh, my gosh.
03:10You look great.
03:12Oh, I did look good for this one.
03:16It's like, oh, damn.
03:17Oh, wow.
03:25Steamy.
03:26Oh.
03:27Oh, I'm, like, really taken back by my...
03:29Why would a man like this need a fake wife?
03:32Katie, what have you got...
03:33A man like this?
03:34So before I call the police...
03:35So the key to these scenes is not to act.
03:38The heart pumping.
03:46That was my actual heartbeat.
03:48Oh.
03:49I have that effect.
03:50And those are my actual abs.
03:53Didn't paint those on?
03:54Not this time.
03:56The contract to be my wife
03:57and the mother of my child.
03:59Ah.
04:00A big decision.
04:01A huge decision.
04:02This is just normal stuff.
04:03This is, like,
04:04first date conversation, right?
04:07You got me pinned against...
04:08What?
04:09Mr. Brand.
04:12Is this how most of your first dates go?
04:15Um,
04:17they usually don't spill wine on me.
04:18Sorry.
04:20Call me Evan.
04:22Oh!
04:24That was the one.
04:27Come on.
04:30Damn!
04:32I love seeing you guys work together
04:34and act together.
04:35I think you guys have great chemistry.
04:37What would you say was different
04:38about working on the set?
04:39I know that the first show
04:41that you guys were on,
04:42you guys were in New York
04:43and now you're in L.A.
04:44Is there any fun moments
04:45or any experiences
04:47that you guys had on set here?
04:48Yeah, I think it was fun
04:50because this was my first time
04:52working with someone
04:52for the second time.
04:53And we had such great chemistry
04:56the first time.
04:57It was exciting to get back to that
04:58and see if it was still there
05:00and what else could happen
05:01because you're always searching
05:02for something as a creative
05:04and trying to figure out
05:05what's going to come out
05:06in the moment.
05:07And working with someone
05:08who you know very well
05:09and already have chemistry with,
05:11it allows you to be
05:12even more free
05:12and not so, like,
05:14second-guessing each other
05:15and just,
05:16you already know, like,
05:17how each other work.
05:18It's both natural.
05:19Yeah.
05:20Yeah, so it allows you
05:21to flow more.
05:22And have more fun, too.
05:23Mm-hmm.
05:24Joke around
05:25and we were making
05:26little dances and...
05:27The first one, you know,
05:28I was just,
05:29I was super serious
05:30trying to do my best
05:31and so in this one,
05:32we were able to just
05:33kind of let go
05:34and be more free
05:35and we probably
05:37had too much fun.
05:38Maybe.
05:38We were just laughing
05:39the whole time.
05:41Is it easier
05:41when you act with
05:42someone that you've
05:43had a project with before?
05:45Oh, yeah.
05:45Yeah.
05:46Yeah, I think for sure it is.
05:48Even if the roles
05:49are different,
05:49like, did you still
05:50imagine Meg
05:51as Mr. Hill's
05:52adorable wife?
05:53No, I don't think so.
05:55I don't think that was
05:56an issue because
05:56I've done so many
05:57since then.
05:58And then also her
05:59being in L.A.,
06:00just a completely
06:01different setting.
06:02We had a couple months
06:02there where I was
06:03living in New York
06:04after we did ours together.
06:05So we had time apart
06:06and then to come back
06:07together and like reunite
06:08for another project
06:09was really exciting.
06:10Which set do you
06:11think you had more fun on?
06:13Mr. Hill's
06:13adorable wife
06:14or this new show?
06:16Definitely this new show.
06:17It was enjoyable
06:18to say the least
06:19and it was cool
06:21having her in Los Angeles
06:22and working with me here.
06:25What an honor for you.
06:26For me?
06:27In both of ours,
06:28we always have a pool
06:30and it's always freezing
06:31and so we're always
06:32like huddled,
06:33like cuddling together
06:34for warmth
06:35and then they give us
06:36warm water
06:36to keep our bodies warm
06:37while we're doing the takes
06:38and then I burned my mouth
06:40on the hot water
06:40and I was like,
06:41I'm just a hot mess right now.
06:43But that's the thing
06:44about these
06:45is the film shoots
06:46are pretty quick
06:47so in a very short
06:49amount of time
06:49you lean on each other
06:50and get so close
06:52with everyone
06:52and I have had
06:53the most phenomenal
06:54cast and crews.
06:55Both of ours,
06:56our crews were outstanding
06:57and the directors
06:58and...
06:58Yeah, New York
06:59was awesome too.
07:00Hector.
07:00Hector.
07:01Shout out.
07:02Missed that guy.
07:03And Rachel
07:03on this new one.
07:04Yeah, we had a blast
07:05and we got to know
07:05our intimacy coordinator
07:06from this one pretty well.
07:08Olivia.
07:08Very well.
07:09She does a bunch of these.
07:10Yeah, she's great.
07:11A lot of spicy scenes.
07:12A lot.
07:14Well, if you guys
07:14want to see
07:15Meg and Jessie
07:16in this new show,
07:18stay tuned.
07:19It's going to be
07:19releasing soon
07:20and as you guys heard,
07:22they had a lot of fun
07:22on set
07:23and I can't wait
07:24for us to all
07:25experience it.
07:27Missed or Hill's
07:28Adorable Wife
07:29was such a hit
07:30and such a fan favorite.
07:32I think everyone
07:32loves that series.
07:34How has life been since?
07:35Has there been
07:36anything new?
07:37Any accomplishments
07:38since shooting?
07:40Well, like weeks
07:41after it came out,
07:43we hit number one
07:44again on the app
07:45which was so exciting.
07:47It was just like a
07:48fun challenge to shoot.
07:49It kept bouncing
07:50from number one
07:51and then back up?
07:52Well, I don't think
07:53it was even number one
07:54at the beginning
07:54and then everyone
07:55loved it
07:56so then it peaked.
07:57Oh, wow.
07:59Yeah.
08:00No, that's great.
08:01I noticed I can't
08:03leave the house anymore
08:03without paparazzi.
08:06We actually do.
08:07Have you gotten anyone
08:08to be like,
08:10are you from that?
08:11One person.
08:12Okay, nice.
08:13In LA?
08:14In LA, that's huge.
08:15Yeah, it's huge.
08:16How about some DMs?
08:17You got any DMs?
08:18Yeah, I think so.
08:20I think a few.
08:21I think my DMs
08:21are popping off now
08:22a little bit
08:23and honestly
08:25there's so many
08:26and they're full
08:26of compliments
08:27and nice things.
08:28People are being
08:29very nice and supportive
08:30so that's cool
08:31to go in there
08:31and try to catch up
08:33and read them all.
08:34Any cool interactions
08:35with like fans?
08:36I haven't met
08:37anyone in person.
08:39Just one.
08:40Just one.
08:41And they were
08:41very nice.
08:43It was cool.
08:43It was cool
08:44experiencing that.
08:46Some of the compliments
08:47online are like
08:50really wonderful
08:51and like always
08:52the ones about
08:52like the acting
08:53touched the hardest.
08:54I don't know about you
08:55but like people
08:56who are just
08:58taken aback
08:58with certain scenes
08:59and are like
09:00specific about
09:01things they loved
09:01like it's so heartwarming.
09:03Would you say
09:04it impacted your life
09:05in any way?
09:06Oh my gosh, yeah.
09:07Yeah, I live in
09:08Bel Air now.
09:09I live in the hills.
09:10No, no.
09:11Yeah, it's cool.
09:12It's cool to get
09:14that positive feedback
09:16and something
09:17that you are
09:17passionate about
09:18and that you think
09:19is a big part of you
09:21and your life
09:22and who you want to be
09:23and people enjoy it
09:24and they appreciate it.
09:25It's like nice
09:26to hear that.
09:27Yeah, and it keeps you going
09:28like what you said earlier
09:29about consistency.
09:30You know,
09:31hitting number one
09:32I would think
09:33it would give you
09:34like more fuel
09:35to continue creating.
09:37Completely, completely
09:38and hearing about
09:38specific things
09:39that people love
09:40and it makes you relive
09:41filming those moments
09:42and sharing that
09:43with people who love it
09:44and yeah,
09:45it's just wonderful
09:46because each shoot
09:47is like an adventure
09:49and there are things
09:49that go wrong
09:50and points
09:51that are really challenging
09:52but the adventure
09:53of it makes
09:54the whole experience
09:55so exciting.
09:56What would you say
09:57is like a favorite
09:57time on set
09:59or an experience
09:59that you had
10:00because I know
10:00you said that,
10:02you know,
10:02it's so exciting
10:02to come on set
10:03and do all these things.
10:04What is a good experience
10:05that you guys had
10:06on this set?
10:07Well, I mean,
10:08every intimacy scene
10:10with Meg
10:10is a great experience.
10:13Life-changing, right?
10:14No, we honestly
10:14have a lot of fun
10:15doing those
10:16and...
10:17Because we just giggle.
10:18We just giggle
10:19the whole time.
10:20That's the secret
10:21to the intimacy
10:22is just giggling.
10:23Between takes
10:23and then there'll be
10:24like action
10:24and we're like...
10:26Yeah, oh.
10:27And the heavy breathing.
10:28My countdown from three
10:29start moaning.
10:31What?
10:31Three.
10:32No.
10:33Two.
10:33Fine.
10:34Yeah, so before
10:35they call action
10:35for the intimacy scenes
10:36they're like,
10:37okay, back to heavy breathing
10:38because you get out
10:38of the cycle of it
10:39and they're like,
10:40okay.
10:42Yeah, you're like
10:43blue in the face.
10:44Right back into it.
10:45Yeah, there's so many.
10:46It's like hard to pick
10:46like certain experiences
10:48because there are so many
10:49each day
10:49as like crazy experiences.
10:51And the overall impact,
10:52you know,
10:53on your careers.
10:53I think like Jesse said,
10:55being able to stay consistent
10:57into something
10:57that he's passionate about
10:59and then seeing that show
11:00go number one,
11:01I think it's like reassuring,
11:03I would say.
11:04Incredibly.
11:05Yeah.
11:06Because you're going out there
11:07and as an actor
11:09or like for me,
11:10I try to take chances.
11:12My coach is really big
11:13on making big choices
11:16and hot choices
11:18and welcoming change.
11:22Yeah, just going out there
11:23and being able to make change.
11:24Full circle.
11:26Oh gosh.
11:27No.
11:28Right.
11:28But going out there,
11:30it feels very vulnerable
11:32to go out there
11:33and make those big choices.
11:34But that's why we practice them
11:35in acting class.
11:36So when you are on set
11:38and you're in a room
11:39full of all these people
11:40kind of like waiting on you
11:41to do your thing,
11:43you just have that little
11:43voice in your head
11:45that's like,
11:45all right,
11:45do what you know
11:46what you are supposed to do
11:48and what feels right.
11:49Just go with it.
11:50And for you to do that
11:52and then an audience
11:53give you the positive feedback
11:54saying they love
11:55this scene,
11:56that scene,
11:56they love what you're doing.
11:58It feels good.
11:59It's very reassuring.
11:59And it gives you positive.
12:00It gives you confidence.
12:02To keep going.
12:03And so the next one you do,
12:03you're like,
12:04oh, I can't wait
12:04to make more choices
12:05and hopefully entertain.
12:07And that's another
12:08wonderful thing
12:09about working with
12:09someone you've worked
12:10with before
12:10is that there's no
12:12like overthinking
12:13and you just kind of
12:14get into it
12:14and you can play
12:15and you can experiment
12:16and try different things.
12:17And there were scenes
12:18in this where we would
12:18just like be slow dancing
12:20to no music
12:21for like 10 minutes
12:23while people watched
12:24and it was like
12:25just feeling the flow
12:27of it
12:27and being comfortable
12:28enough to like
12:29in each moment
12:30try different things
12:30with each other.
12:31It was exciting.
12:33Yeah.
12:33I see like a theme
12:34of trying new things,
12:35of taking risks,
12:36of staying patient,
12:37of welcoming change.
12:38I guess
12:39what are some things
12:40that will keep you
12:41confident on set?
12:42Because as you mentioned
12:43there's so many people
12:44watching,
12:45you know,
12:45you're doing these
12:46acting classes
12:47to be prepared
12:48but what are some things
12:49that keep you guys
12:50confident
12:50or challenges
12:51to you guys on set?
12:52I feel like on every set
12:55there's like hype people
12:56like people on the crew
12:57who like just hype you up
12:59and know,
13:00can kind of see
13:00when you need it.
13:02I've been so lucky
13:03with the most wonderful
13:05hair and makeup artists
13:06and on ours
13:08her name was Nan
13:08and we're like good friends now
13:09and she would just hype me up.
13:11So I feel like
13:11that's a big one
13:12is being like tight
13:13with the crew
13:13and feeling prepared
13:15people you're comfortable
13:16with.
13:16And feeling prepared too
13:17like you mentioned
13:17like everything.
13:18Glam artists
13:19is making sure
13:19that you look great
13:20and that you reflect
13:21that back on the views
13:22and on the audience.
13:24So you don't even have
13:24to think about that
13:25and you can just
13:26like feel
13:27in the moment
13:28based on the work
13:29you've already done
13:30that is now
13:30in your body.
13:31Yeah, of course.
13:32It helps you
13:33just like cramp up
13:34and get started.
13:36What about you,
13:37Jesse?
13:37Like what are some things
13:38you seem very confident
13:39as it is
13:40but what are some things
13:41that keep you confident
13:41on set?
13:43It goes back
13:43to the same thing
13:44Meg said.
13:45It's all about
13:45being prepared
13:46and doing the work
13:48and acting class
13:49and all your downtime.
13:50A lot of people
13:51don't realize
13:51as an artist
13:52you have a lot of downtime
13:53in your career
13:55and I think
13:55filling that time
13:57with being productive
13:58and trying to stay creative
13:59and just push your mind
14:01and your imagination
14:02to figure things out
14:04as an actor.
14:04I think that
14:05you just have to remember
14:06those things
14:07and what you've done
14:08and how far you've grown
14:09and when you're on set
14:11by yourself
14:11let's say you have
14:12a big scene
14:13it's like a monologue
14:13there's moments
14:15where you feel very alone
14:16and everyone's like
14:17on the other side
14:18of the camera
14:18and that moment
14:20that's what keeps you confident
14:21is just like
14:22knowing that
14:23okay I've done all this
14:24before
14:24I've done my work
14:25it's all about
14:26being prepared
14:27and belief
14:28and belief
14:29is
14:30that's huge
14:31that changed my life forever
14:33belief in what?
14:34Whatever it is
14:34you believe in
14:35you know
14:36there's no right or wrong
14:37as long as it's a positive thing
14:39and it doesn't affect
14:40others negatively
14:40you believe
14:41whatever it is
14:42you gotta believe
14:43yeah
14:43so guys
14:45Jesse's lessons
14:47stay patient
14:49and believe
14:50believe in what you believe in
14:52and Meg
14:54will push you
14:55to be open to change
14:56yeah
14:57I think those are
14:58great lessons
14:59I like that
14:59that's a great
15:00combination of goals
15:02and lessons together
15:03you know
15:03stay patient
15:04but also welcome change
15:05patient
15:06welcome change
15:07perfect
15:08like balance
15:10you know
15:10and then just to sprinkle
15:11that on top
15:12you're going to
15:13believe
15:15in whatever it is
15:16that you decide
15:17but
15:17and something else
15:18we learned
15:18it's like a triangle
15:19because if you don't believe it
15:20how can you welcome it
15:22and how can you be patient to it
15:23so wise
15:24I could just learn
15:25from you all day
15:26in acting school
15:28when I went to college
15:29something that
15:31they taught us a lot
15:32was doing the work
15:32and doing the backstory
15:33for the character
15:34and getting really in there
15:35and doing
15:36you know
15:36all the things
15:37you have to do
15:37in private
15:37to prepare
15:38and then when you get on set
15:40you can just forget it
15:41because it's in you
15:42because you've done the work
15:43and then you can just
15:44live in the moment
15:44take the risks
15:45and go for it
15:46Mr. Hill's adorable wife
15:48was such a hit
15:49and I think the chemistry
15:51between you two
15:51was amazing
15:52I think part of that chemistry
15:54comes from your personal life
15:55and all the new lessons
15:57and growth you had
15:58in 2024
15:58I'm so curious to know
16:01who Jesse and Meg
16:01really are
16:02off camera
16:03a lot of my characters
16:06they have some personality
16:07traits of mine
16:09I would say
16:10not 100%
16:11but definitely some things
16:12some positive things
16:14that I feel like I have
16:16what would you say
16:17some of those traits are
16:18what would you say they are
16:20well off camera
16:21I'm really goofy
16:22I'm down to earth
16:24like I'm a pretty simple guy
16:26I love making sure
16:29people are having
16:30a good time
16:31like I'm very extroverted
16:32and social
16:33and I'm all about
16:34just entertaining people
16:36and having fun
16:37keeping it light
16:38he has like a charisma
16:42that a lot of his
16:43characters carry
16:44and we always joke
16:45that there's this
16:46thing that he says
16:47that is
16:48sums up my characters
16:49it sums up his characters
16:50but it's also him
16:51in real life
16:51he'll be like
16:52let's hear it
16:54don't worry
16:56I'll handle it
16:58that like sums up
17:00my characters
17:01in one sentence
17:02yeah but also Jesse
17:03yeah I like
17:05I like handling things
17:06I've been called
17:07the coach
17:07in real life
17:09just kind of
17:10quarterbacking something
17:11making sure it's
17:12getting taken care of
17:13okay how can we
17:13knock this out
17:14how can we do this
17:15and like move forward
17:17and make sure people
17:18feel taken care of
17:20and all that
17:20yeah
17:21yeah yeah
17:22I'm old school
17:23yeah I mean
17:24I see that Meg
17:25has this theme
17:26of like a duality
17:27to you
17:27like this softness
17:28and this hardness
17:29and I think
17:30Jesse has like
17:32this charisma
17:33that pulls in on set
17:35with his roles
17:36and as well as
17:37him off camera
17:38and I think it's
17:39interesting to see
17:40that some of the traits
17:41relate to your
17:42like off camera
17:43personality
17:44what are your
17:45top three
17:46important
17:47like things you
17:48can't live without
17:48okay well can I wrap
17:51like my mom
17:52dad and sister
17:52into one
17:53family
17:54family
17:54family
17:55great
17:55love them
17:56yeah
17:57love you guys
17:57yeah that's
17:58I mean that goes
17:59without saying
18:00like a support
18:01group
18:01a family
18:02yeah
18:02I feel like a big
18:04motivation is doing
18:05this all this for
18:06something more than
18:07myself
18:07I feel like that's a
18:08strong motivator for
18:09me not only just
18:11fulfilling you know
18:12something that I want
18:14to do and I love
18:14for a living but
18:15also being able to
18:17support or take care
18:18of others or be there
18:19for other people
18:20that's that's a big
18:22thing for sure for
18:23me what else
18:24what's number two
18:25number two
18:26would be
18:28my guitar
18:29so I can
18:30keep playing
18:31and um
18:33and writing
18:33I love it so much
18:35um and whenever I'm
18:36having like an
18:37overwhelming feeling
18:38in life
18:38I'll figure out the
18:40words and I'll put
18:41it into a song
18:42it's so
18:43therapeutic
18:43yeah and
18:45for me it's my
18:47tennis racket
18:48I was gonna say
18:49tennis racket
18:49you should say that
18:50it's my racket
18:52because it it's not
18:53just the sport
18:54it's not just going
18:55out and having fun
18:55but it's an escape
18:56it's therapeutic
18:57um when I play
18:59tennis it's like
19:00time just
19:00flies by
19:02and I don't think
19:02about anything else
19:03that's what's cool
19:04about it is it
19:04makes you be so
19:05present
19:06yeah
19:06and focused on
19:07what you're doing
19:08and um
19:09you just get into
19:10this zone
19:11and it feels good
19:12it's
19:14it's a flow
19:15it's a flow
19:16and um
19:18what's your
19:18what's your third one
19:19so in talking
19:21about the duality
19:22um
19:23I might look nice
19:25but I can kick
19:26a butt too
19:27you know
19:27um so I would say
19:28a weight
19:29or like something
19:31to get big and strong
19:32okay
19:33oh a family
19:35tennis racket
19:36a third one
19:37a purpose
19:38purpose
19:39in life
19:40okay
19:41I'm like a dumbbell
19:42and he's like
19:44no it's okay
19:44don't feel bad
19:45your answer was great
19:46it was fine
19:47it was cute
19:47but I feel like
19:49without a purpose
19:50without something
19:51that you're
19:51you're striving
19:52towards
19:53and and really want
19:54and that
19:55you're going to be
19:56disciplined and focused
19:57and just try to get
19:58your all
19:59I feel like
20:00that's what life's about
20:02um
20:02if I'm not focused
20:04on something
20:04if I'm not trying
20:05to do something
20:05then I feel just
20:06kind of
20:07like I'm floating
20:08you know
20:08I'm not really living
20:09so yeah
20:11I feel like
20:12that's the third
20:12thing you need
20:13or I need
20:14is something
20:15to live for
20:15absolutely
20:16I think
20:17those were beautiful
20:18I'm feeling so inspired
20:21you have me ready
20:21for my new year's
20:23vision board
20:23I'm so sorry
20:25I need to take mine back
20:27gratitude
20:29gratitude
20:29I mean I think
20:31gratitude is
20:31it's huge
20:32it's huge
20:33because I think
20:34it's so easy
20:34to take things
20:35for granted
20:35and get stuck
20:36in the spotlight
20:38and all of that
20:39but if you take
20:40a moment
20:40to remember
20:42who got you there
20:43yeah
20:44and uh
20:45and the work
20:45that you put
20:46in yourself
20:46you know
20:48that's really
20:48grounding
20:49and humbling
20:49yeah
20:50and I think
20:51uh
20:51just learning
20:52about your
20:53top three things
20:54I learned so much
20:54about you guys
20:55I learned about
20:56your duality
20:57um
20:57your guitar
20:58uh
21:00that you
21:00you know
21:01lift
21:01and I think
21:02you guys
21:02have so many
21:03hidden talents
21:03from what I see
21:04lots of hidden talents
21:06I mean
21:08Jesse is a very
21:09wise philosopher
21:11he has great
21:12he's getting me
21:13ready for the new years
21:14um
21:15I have new goals
21:15I think I want to
21:16work on my patience
21:17and on my purpose
21:18thanks so much Jesse
21:19um
21:20well what are some
21:20of your hidden talents
21:21what are some things
21:22that you guys
21:23um
21:23what you would say
21:24that you're talented
21:25in that you want
21:25the fans to know
21:26I can't
21:31I cannot
21:32the silence
21:33I would say
21:35hidden talent
21:36hidden talent
21:38mine are
21:40uh
21:40tumbling
21:41I used to do gymnastics
21:42and I try to keep up
21:43with it a little bit
21:44I definitely want to get
21:45better in the new year
21:45um
21:46and
21:47I like to sing
21:48opera
21:48opera
21:49that's kind of
21:50how it all started
21:51with musicals
21:52and all that good stuff
21:53now I'm more
21:54in the film world
21:55of course
21:55but I still love to sing
21:56opera
21:57wow
21:58um
21:59hidden
21:59hidden talent
22:00I'm actually a pretty good coach
22:02when I help people
22:03with things
22:03or like try to learn things
22:04pick things up
22:05I have a good way
22:06of explaining
22:06and keeping it simple
22:07I've heard that
22:08I'm a good listener
22:10I feel like when people
22:11need help with something
22:12or are not quite sure
22:13what to do
22:14or how to feel
22:15you always go so deep
22:16I feel like I'm in there
22:16for people
22:17I mean
22:18you know
22:18different walks of life
22:19right
22:19probably the
22:20the one I'm most like
22:22shy about
22:24is uh
22:25when I was younger
22:25I did like
22:26the best
22:27velociraptor
22:28impression
22:29there we go
22:30ever
22:30see this is what we need
22:31okay well
22:33you know
22:33on YouTube
22:34or the internet now
22:35you can see all this stuff
22:36like people actually
22:37having competitions
22:38trying to
22:39like
22:40who has the best
22:41raptor
22:41dinosaur
22:42whatever
22:42and every time I watch them
22:43my friends
22:44my old school friends
22:45from back in high school
22:46they send me
22:47these clips
22:48and they're just never
22:49never as good
22:50I think
22:51yeah
22:52I think we need a sample
22:53but no
22:54it's something that
22:55is in the vault
22:56will never
22:58I've retired that thing
23:00I'm not even flexible
23:01enough to do it anymore
23:02and
23:02the pitch
23:03the voices those things make
23:05like the
23:06the sounds
23:06like I can't
23:07I can't do it anymore
23:08I can only do like one of them
23:09my voice has changed
23:10and uh
23:11I'm just not as flexible
23:12as I used to be
23:14and speaking of flexibility
23:16um
23:17I think you were a dancer right
23:18I was
23:20yes
23:21is that where you picked up
23:22flexibility from
23:23um
23:24yeah
23:26I guess so
23:27you know
23:28sometimes you have to
23:29get lower
23:30than the average person
23:31or
23:31you know
23:33hit a deep lunge
23:34whatever it is
23:35I didn't grow up doing
23:36play
23:36or anything technical
23:37what type of dancing
23:39hip hop and salsa
23:40hip hop and salsa
23:41mostly
23:41mm-hmm
23:42yeah
23:42different
23:43different genres
23:44of
23:45hip hop
23:46mm-hmm
23:47yeah so uh
23:48like did you like
23:49compete in dancing
23:50or was it just something
23:51you did as like a
23:52hobby or something
23:53you did at home
23:54well growing up
23:55I just did it for fun
23:56my parents actually met
23:57dancing
23:58country and western
23:59salsa
24:00disco
24:00back when people
24:01actually used to go out
24:02and just dance
24:03yeah
24:03I love that
24:04now I don't know
24:05what they do
24:05I don't know what they call
24:06I love a good salsa class
24:08or dance
24:09but I understand
24:09it's not as um
24:10common
24:11yeah it's just not a thing
24:12as much anymore
24:13you ever go to a country bar
24:14in Texas
24:14and do some line dancing
24:15oh yeah
24:15yeah yeah yeah
24:16there were quite a few
24:17popular spots
24:19mm-hmm
24:19used to go there often
24:20so you did it as a hobby
24:22and your parent
24:23and you grew up
24:23around dancers
24:24well your parents
24:25met each other dancing
24:26mm-hmm
24:27that's how they met
24:28just like out dancing
24:29and so that was the first
24:30time they met
24:31but um
24:32growing up
24:32we were just always
24:33the family that
24:34would dance
24:35mm-hmm
24:36and people would always
24:37encourage us
24:38to come to their weddings
24:39or or parties
24:40or whatever
24:41and they would always
24:43be excited to see us
24:44there
24:45because we'd be dancing
24:46like the people
24:47who started
24:47the dance party
24:49on the floor
24:50so
24:50did you say like
24:51dancing is like
24:52in your blood
24:52it's like something
24:53that's like natural
24:53yeah I was doing it
24:54there's videos of me
24:55doing it
24:56before I could speak
24:57like it was just
24:58it was just what we did
24:59did you ever try to like
25:01take dancing like
25:02for a competition
25:03or to dance like
25:04professionally
25:05or since it seems like
25:06it's something that you
25:07grew up with
25:07and that has always
25:08been around
25:08I didn't really
25:10think about being
25:11a professional
25:12until after I
25:13graduated high school
25:14but in middle school
25:16that's when I started
25:17dancing
25:17like in public
25:18doing talent shows
25:20and performances
25:20and people liked it
25:24I was I was starting
25:25to win competitions
25:27every time I perform
25:28and it became a thing
25:30in high school
25:31people would look forward
25:32to the pep rally
25:32I was going to perform at
25:34and at that time
25:36it was just fun
25:36it was just something
25:37I loved doing
25:38and it felt good
25:39and after high school
25:41I kept dancing
25:43I started going into the city
25:46because I lived
25:46I grew up
25:47like 20 minutes
25:48outside of Dallas
25:49and so I would go
25:50into Dallas
25:51and find dance studios
25:53to take classes
25:55and I met more people
25:57who did it
25:58and I finally went
26:00to a convention
26:00that would travel
26:01the world
26:02and teach kids
26:03like these world famous
26:05music video dances
26:06and choreography
26:07and someone noticed me
26:09there
26:09and said
26:10hey you're pretty good
26:11if you don't have
26:12anything going on
26:13in Texas
26:14you should move to LA
26:15and pursue a dance career
26:17oh wow
26:17so that was the first time
26:19I think it was
26:21like 19
26:22when that happened
26:23or 20
26:23and that was the first time
26:25I actually considered it
26:26and so I told my parents
26:28and
26:29my dad loved dancing
26:30my mom does too
26:31but my dad
26:32that was like his thing
26:33and so
26:34when he found out
26:36that I was considering it
26:37they both just supported me
26:39100%
26:39they were like
26:40you're young
26:40my dad was like
26:42if I was your age
26:42if I was you
26:43like I would do it
26:44like just go
26:45just have fun
26:45and see what happens
26:46you moved here alone
26:47when you were that young
26:48I moved here with someone
26:50that was a mutual friend
26:52with
26:53my friend
26:55we had a friend in common
26:56and
26:56he introduced us
26:58because he was thinking
26:59about moving to LA
27:00at the same time
27:00so
27:01I moved out here with him
27:03and so we knew each other
27:04for two weeks
27:05before we moved to LA
27:06and we actually still
27:08live together
27:08it's crazy
27:09he had a roommate
27:10he took a leap of faith
27:12and
27:12just came out here to dance
27:14and
27:14where did that take you
27:15did you come to LA
27:16did you end up dancing
27:17when you got to LA
27:18yeah so I moved to LA
27:19I got an agent
27:21like
27:21the first week
27:22and started auditioning
27:24and
27:24going to class
27:26and networking
27:26and
27:27I booked
27:27my first gig
27:29like three months after that
27:30and
27:31you think
27:31oh this is it
27:32it's meant to be
27:33it was actually with Beyonce
27:34wow
27:35pretty cool first gig
27:36and
27:38you think
27:39oh
27:39yep
27:40this is what I'm supposed to do
27:41and then after that
27:42it was like nothing
27:43it was like nothing
27:44for like six
27:45seven months
27:46and then you slowly start
27:47meeting people
27:48and doing
27:49smaller jobs
27:51and eventually
27:52things start happening
27:53for you
27:53you get better
27:54you start meeting people
27:55and so things start happening
27:56and
27:58slowly but surely
27:59just the jobs
28:01started getting
28:02bigger
28:02better
28:03and
28:05so I was
28:06I ended up doing
28:07some pretty cool things
28:08did you
28:08was that the only opportunity
28:10that you worked with
28:11like a
28:11a list or
28:12like a big celebrity
28:13like Beyonce
28:14no I
28:15I worked with
28:16Mariah Carey
28:17oh cool
28:17that was cool
28:18that was really cool
28:20I got to work with a lot of
28:21good friends on that one
28:22I think that's what
28:23made it so special
28:24I remember my parents
28:25my mom
28:26would
28:27growing up
28:28she would listen to
28:28Mariah Carey all the time
28:29she loved her
28:30and
28:30so it was cool to finally
28:32perform with someone
28:33who actually
28:33felt something with her music
28:36sometimes as a dancer
28:38you don't get to do
28:40necessarily like the right
28:42the dance moves you want to do
28:44or dance to the music
28:45that you love
28:46and so with her
28:47I loved her music
28:48to connect with her music
28:49it was just a feeling
28:50it was a good feeling
28:51to have
28:51what would you say
28:52is the
28:52like the project
28:53you were the most proud of
28:54or had the most exposure
28:56in your dancing career
28:57it was probably
28:58Channing Tatum's show
29:01Channing Tatum's show
29:02yeah I don't know
29:03if you know
29:03what Channing Tatum is
29:04but he has
29:05or what he's known for
29:08but he had a show
29:10in Vegas
29:11it's still there
29:12it's called
29:12Magic Mike Live
29:13and I was a part of that
29:15when it first started
29:17that's pretty big
29:18I think everyone
29:19is familiar with
29:20Magic Mike
29:21yeah you know
29:22most people that I
29:23talk to about it
29:24they've heard of him
29:25or that name
29:26and so
29:27as soon as I bring it up
29:29they start to smirk
29:30and giggle
29:31but that show
29:32is actually
29:32awesome
29:33yeah
29:34the movies
29:35don't even do it justice
29:36you know the movies
29:37have their story
29:38and it's a long
29:39more of a traditional
29:40but the athleticism
29:43required
29:43in those dances
29:44and how often
29:45you did it
29:46is insane
29:46it is insane
29:48yeah
29:48no that's the thing
29:49is the show
29:50is actually like
29:51a production
29:51it's like a
29:52it's like a legit show
29:54with all kinds
29:54of talented men
29:55and doing all
29:56all sorts of things
29:58and there's other shows
29:59out there in Vegas
30:00that are in the same genre
30:02but they're just not
30:03quite the same show
30:04and there's nothing wrong
30:05with those shows
30:06it's just a little different
30:07it's a little bit more
30:07traditional in the sense
30:09yeah
30:09of what people assume
30:12it's going to be
30:12but with this one
30:14it was definitely special
30:15what they've done
30:16and they did it right
30:17it was really cool
30:18to be a part of
30:19I certainly enjoyed it
30:21yeah I think
30:22I think
30:23I see that perfect
30:24because you have
30:24so much charisma
30:25and I think
30:26that would be
30:27like a perfect role
30:28and a good experience
30:29to like further
30:30your dancing
30:31I think it's very
30:33interesting to hear
30:34a little bit about
30:35like your hidden talents
30:36and everything
30:36you've dabbled in
30:38it's very interesting
30:40to see how it got
30:41you here now
30:42and you're at a place
30:43that you're being
30:44more consistent
30:45with acting
30:46and how did
30:47dancing then
30:48did you transition
30:49into acting after
30:50yeah
30:51so when I first
30:53started doing the show
30:54I knew it was
30:56going to be great
30:57because there were
30:58a few of us
30:58that were selected
30:59for solos
31:00during the show
31:02and that kind of
31:05gives you an extra
31:06boost of confidence
31:07and like that you're
31:08doing the right thing
31:09and that you're meant
31:10this is your purpose
31:11and so doing this show
31:14in Vegas
31:14it really gave me
31:16just the next level
31:17of confidence
31:17and I felt like
31:18I was ready
31:19for the limelight
31:21I knew that
31:21I was ready
31:22for that next level
31:23of entertainment
31:24and as a dancer
31:26you're used to
31:27performing
31:28and putting on a show
31:30with like
31:30your physicality
31:31more so like
31:32your physical being
31:33like you know
31:35your expressions
31:36and whatnot
31:36are still there
31:37but people don't
31:38really get to know
31:39who you are
31:39personally
31:40and that was one thing
31:42I was starting to
31:43crave more
31:45it was like
31:45performing with like
31:46my personality more
31:47and not just being
31:48like this
31:49naked hot guy
31:50all the time
31:51it's just like
31:52it's so hard
31:52you know
31:53like it's
31:53you know
31:54I mean
31:54Magic Mike
31:55is really
31:56really well known
31:57and it's like
31:58really interesting
31:59to have heard
31:59that experience
32:00that it's so
32:01well produced
32:01and that there's
32:02so many like it
32:03but that's like
32:03the top bar
32:04and to have a star
32:06on our shows
32:07that you know
32:08comes from that
32:09I think is great
32:10and I think
32:11it's very interesting
32:11it brings that charisma
32:12and that spice
32:13to the scenes
32:14you have to give yourself
32:15so much credit too
32:16because it's like
32:16you're doing so many shows
32:18each week
32:19and it's challenging
32:21you have to keep yourself
32:21in tip-top shape
32:22but that's a hard lifestyle
32:23yeah
32:24and I think
32:25both of you guys
32:26it's not easy no
32:27I think both of you guys
32:28are great entertainers
32:29and I think
32:30both of you guys
32:31like I mean
32:32you sing
32:32you have opera
32:33you dance
32:34you teach
32:35and I know that
32:36there was other things
32:37before you got into
32:38acting that you were
32:39interested in
32:40which completely
32:41I think are even
32:42more intriguing
32:43before you got into
32:44acting I think
32:45you were into
32:46more of like
32:47physics
32:47and more of science
32:48right
32:49yes
32:49which brings back
32:51the theme of
32:51duality for you
32:52I mean
32:53this girl
32:53is so spontaneous
32:55so unpredictable
32:55I mean
32:56she's gonna
32:56give you the
32:57physics
32:58but then she's
32:59gonna give you
32:59the opera
33:00and then I'm gonna
33:00have a complete
33:01lack of common sense
33:02and be able to
33:04solve the theory
33:05of relativity
33:06or something
33:06the theory
33:06the Pythagorean theorem
33:08no
33:09that's I think
33:10geometry
33:11you got it
33:13yeah
33:13I mean
33:13but how
33:14interesting
33:14is that
33:15and where
33:15did you come
33:16in connection
33:16with physics
33:17and how
33:17did you tie
33:18that all
33:18in together
33:19to become
33:19NAIC
33:20thank you
33:21I always loved
33:24science
33:25and I never felt
33:26that I was like
33:26the best at it
33:28until I did
33:29a summer semester
33:30at Oxford
33:30and I studied
33:31both theater
33:32and physics
33:32actually
33:33and completely
33:34unexpectedly
33:35fell in love
33:36with physics
33:36and it was more
33:37the conceptual
33:38aspects
33:39and like
33:40astrophysics
33:41and theory
33:41and all of that
33:42and so I decided
33:44to go to college
33:44for that
33:45and just before
33:47I was set to do so
33:48I had like
33:49an epiphany
33:50where as much
33:52as I love physics
33:52and I'm so happy
33:54to geek out
33:54and be nerdy
33:56all the time
33:56and like watch
33:57a million documentaries
33:58I need to be acting
34:02and that's just
34:03my passion
34:04so yeah
34:06I just decided
34:06to take a gap year
34:08and then I worked
34:09full time
34:09at a regional theater
34:10on Long Island
34:10and we toured
34:11the country
34:12with different
34:13plays and musicals
34:15that I felt
34:15were really making
34:16a difference
34:17in the world
34:17and I said yes
34:18I was right
34:19to put the science
34:21aside
34:21and go all in
34:23for this
34:23because it's
34:24everything to me
34:25well I'm very happy
34:26for you and your transition
34:27thank you
34:27because I know
34:28you're welcoming change
34:29and it's a huge change
34:30and it's following
34:31your passion
34:32and your purpose
34:32like Jesse said
34:34those are like
34:34his top three things
34:35and I mean
34:36it seems like
34:37you're following
34:37your purpose
34:38it's really exciting
34:39to be in film
34:40because I acknowledged
34:42to a point
34:43that as much
34:43as I love singing
34:44and writing music
34:45I'm not the best
34:47opera singer
34:47I'm not the best
34:48musical theater performer
34:50so it was a nice transition
34:53I was able to do
34:54a really fun
34:55kind of operatic show
34:56called The Fantastics
34:58at that regional theater
34:59that I mentioned
35:00after college
35:01or during college
35:03during the pandemic
35:03when things were
35:04starting to come back
35:05and that was such
35:06a special experience
35:07for me
35:07and working again
35:08with my mentor
35:09Jeffrey Sanzel
35:10from that theater
35:10so it's been really cool
35:12to have that
35:13kind of be the end
35:14of my professional
35:16singing journey
35:17for now
35:18although I'm sure
35:19it'll seep back in
35:20with film
35:20and plays
35:21and all of that
35:22but it was a nice
35:22like bookend
35:23and then to make
35:24this transition now
35:25and move to LA
35:26and embrace film
35:27it's exciting
35:27yeah Meg
35:28like your personality
35:29is amazing
35:30I think you are
35:31so balanced
35:32like you have
35:33so many different
35:34directions and extremes
35:35like physics
35:36and then you're
35:36so a great entertainer
35:38thank you
35:39but I loved hearing
35:40about all your
35:41hidden talents
35:42and just getting
35:42to know you guys
35:43and I wouldn't ask you
35:45about a hidden talent
35:46and keep it hidden
35:47what does that mean?
35:48I want to see you guys
35:50dance and sing
35:50and I'm sure the fans
35:52will too
35:53wow
35:54let's do it
35:55sorry
35:58sorry
35:59ain't it
35:59panted
36:00I messed up your pants
36:02I'm serious
36:03I'm serious
36:05about you
36:06I apologize
36:08for the look
36:09that's in my eyes
36:10I'm curious
36:11I'm curious
36:13about you
36:15if you wanna climb
36:17a mountain top
36:18fight
36:19time
36:20but you got to be
36:23fight
36:23if you wanna climb
36:25a mountain top
36:26fight
36:27you got to be
36:31she can be my side
36:34I'm sorry
36:36I know you wanna
36:49figure out
36:50what we should do
36:51about this now
36:53I just wanna
36:55take my time
36:56with it
36:56and it's so late
36:57to signal out
36:59I'm already
36:59about you
37:00now
37:01I don't wanna
37:03waste no time
37:04with it
37:05if you wanna
37:06climb a mountain top
37:08I am aware
37:14of the moon
37:18it's time to be
37:20again
37:21you and I
37:23you and I
37:28Jessie and Meg
37:33that was fantastic
37:34I would have to say
37:35that that's the
37:36highlight of my
37:372024
37:37yes
37:40I mean
37:41you're such a good
37:42dancer
37:42you're such a good
37:43singer
37:43I mean
37:44hidden talents
37:45come on
37:46you guys are talented
37:47all around
37:49I would say
37:50she's great
37:52you're selling
37:52yourself short
37:53host of the century
37:54I have no talents
37:55I can't dance
37:56I can't sing
37:56I am jealous
37:57but I think
37:58you guys are so talented
38:00and I'm so thankful
38:01for you guys
38:01stopping in today
38:02and sharing
38:02your next projects
