00:01:30Two participants enter the cage for one five-minute round.
00:01:48Every few minutes, another participant will enter.
00:01:52The Blood and Guts match officially begins after all 12 participants have entered the cage.
00:01:59The winning team is determined by making any opponent submit or surrender.
00:02:10Brian Danielson, a very important distinction there.
00:02:13There is no escape.
00:02:15There is no pinfall.
00:02:17There is no disqualification, submission, or surrender.

00:02:21Yeah, that changes the scope of this from a normal cage match

00:02:41Well, Sky Blue, Tony, starting things out for her side.
00:02:48Apparently, Triangle Madness, Marina Shafir, Megan Bain, Mercedes Manet,
00:02:53they conferred, they elected Sky Blue to start this first five-minute interval.
00:02:59And I think that speaks to Sky Blue's toughness, her quality,
00:03:03a testament to her durability.

00:03:07But also, it's a testament to their confidence in Sky Blue.

00:03:41But that smile seemed to falter a little bit when she took a look up at the enormity of this cage,

00:03:53Yeah, I mean, this is the first time I've been to a lot of blood and guts.
00:03:56Imagine I was taken aback by it as well.
00:03:59I can imagine for the women, this is the first time being in this structure.
00:04:04I think Willa Nightingale looks so excited, so happy to be part of this.
00:04:09As she looked at that structure, and only Willa Nightingale with that, on her top, smile anyway.
00:04:16Well, there's going to be some smiling in the beginning, but there's going to be a lot of serious looks.
00:04:22And remember, it is a five-minute interval to start the proceedings here tonight.
00:04:28And every few minutes, our new competitor will enter until all 12 have entered.
00:04:34And only then will the blood and guts match officially begin it right now.
00:04:38Both women battering each other, and a hockey fight in between the rings to kick off the action here tonight.

00:07:21The triangle of madness, Megan Bain, Mercedes, their team won the advantage battle.
00:07:29So they'll have the advantage in all of these entrances.

00:07:34I think, guys, if you're one of the first two in the ring, you're going to be in there the entire time.
00:07:40So I'm really thinking it's easy to say, probably hard to do, Brian, but you kind of got to pace yourself, right, a little bit.
00:07:45Because you're going to be in there the entire length of time.
00:07:48Well, I actually think that that's one of the reasons why the triangle of madness picked Sky blue for this position is because she's incredibly tough, incredibly durable, and her cardio does not stop.
00:08:02Likewise, Willa Nightingale, the same for her team.
00:08:05She has been in these, well, I was going to say these type of situations before.
00:08:09She's been in street fights.
00:08:11She's been in some of the most brutal matches we've seen in the AEW women's division.
00:08:14But, again, this is the first ever blood and guts match for the women's division in AEW.
00:08:19And something that I think the women in AEW's locker room have seen is a long time coming.
00:08:24There are so many rivalries that are intersecting here.

00:08:29You've got the AEW Women's World Championship coming up at full gear a week from Saturday.
00:08:35There are so many rivalries as the clock counts it down.
