00:00We have finally hit 1,000 episodes of One Piece, halfway there to the end, a grand adventure

00:27that started all because the main protagonist took a nap in a barrel.

00:30What better way to celebrate this milestone other than looking at the top 10 moments of

00:35the latest arc that had some stunning animations.

00:46It's finally episode 1000, and we have the gathering of all the straw hats in style.

00:52Unfortunately it probably isn't as epic as chapter 1000, which we'll probably see animated

00:57in about 10 to 15 episodes.

00:59However, it was still a great moment.

01:02We've seen the straw hats come together multiple times in the past, but this is a special milestone

01:07representing all the fans that managed to stick along for such a long time.

01:12Each one of them gather by showing just how powerful they have become by dealing some hefty

01:16blows to the enemy army.

01:18The straw hats prove, once again, that they are a force to be reckoned with.

01:23I'm going to kill Kaido, and I'm going to kill Kaido, and I'm going to kill Kaido.

01:41After that one shot by Kaido, it was pretty obvious that Luffy needed a major power boost if

01:45he were to stand a chance against him in a rematch, especially when we later find out that there

01:50is not one, but two emperors to fight.

01:52Luckily, Kaido was kind enough to provide him with a gym and a personal trainer.

01:57His time in prison was well spent, training to become stronger every day.

02:01The final touch is the good old-fashioned life-threatening situation to help a shounen protagonist

02:05unlock a new special power.

02:07It may only have been a momentary success, but his growth is still impressive for a 19-year-old.

02:13Looking forward to seeing him in his prime.

02:30Wasting food or hitting a woman is never a good idea when Sanji is around, and Page One

02:36did exactly that.

02:37However, he is a member of Kaido's elite team, which makes him far stronger than the

02:42typical enemies that the Straw Hats have faced so far.

02:45Normal Sanji would probably struggle to win this one, so he didn't really have much choice

02:49but to use the raid suit that he despises so much.

02:52However, he seems to have adjusted pretty quickly, as he puts up a fantastic fight against his

02:57powerful opponent, finishing it off with a meteoric kick that caused the extinction of dinosaurs.

03:01Three of the strongest captains from the first generation have teamed up to take on an emperor's

03:20army.

03:21Although, it is hard to imagine them working together, as they just have too much rivalry

03:25between them.

03:27We already see that against the enemy ships, instead of working together, they compete

03:31to see who destroys them first.

03:32The star of this entire fight was Law, and his Devil Fruit powers.

03:36It is incredibly overpowered under conditions like rain.

03:39He is essentially untouchable with the ability to switch between individual raindrops.

03:44Hopefully we can see this trio truly team up against the monstrous level Kaido.

03:48Otherwise, I doubt they would even have a chance.

04:10This was an encounter between two legendary beings, the tainted Shenron and an overweight

04:15elderly woman.

04:16Mom and Kaido were changing the structure of land itself with each collision.

04:20But at least they were having fun.

04:21Luckily Kaido already had plans for a new island.

04:25Just too bad for the island dwellers that didn't evacuate in time.

04:28This battle really shows what an emperor level duel is like, especially when you take into

04:32account that they are not even serious.

04:35A stark reminder that Luffy was never really a threat to these two.

04:39Both of these emperors were at one point in the same crew.

04:42Now all grown up, this encounter sparked a renewed interest in forming an alliance that could

04:47shake the entire One Piece world.

04:49But no one gets a doubt about this monster duo, but no cards in his deck were good enough against this monster duo.

04:54Hawkins is essentially a master level Yu-Gi-Oh! player.

05:09He always manages to draw some good cards,

05:11but no cards in his deck were good enough against this monster duo.

05:15This fight may have both Luffy and Zoro,

05:18but Luffy barely took part as he was just playing around with a sword.

05:22Luckily, Zoro alone was sufficient to counter a former captain of the worst generation.

05:26Unlike the others, Zoro doesn't hesitate at all.

05:29If you consider someone an enemy, he goes for the kill.

05:32Besides, he probably didn't want a scar on his back either,

05:34which would be a disgrace for a swordsman.

05:36Overall, Zoro just upgraded himself from pirate hunter to supernova hunter.

05:41Just when we thought that Zoro had an epic moment already,

06:03we are treated with another epic battle.

06:06We've been waiting for a confrontation between the right-hand men of the two leading supernovas.

06:10Killer is a pretty good sword fighter to be able to push Zoro this much,

06:14but he made a grave mistake when he gave that third sword to Zoro.

06:18Zoro is just in a class of his own.

06:20Makes you wonder how long this fight would have lasted

06:22if he'd had all three swords from the beginning.

06:24Although, neither were really at their fullest in this fight.

06:27Hopefully, we'll see a proper rematch one day.

06:30Meanwhile, their captains were getting fat on dumplings in prison.

06:52The whole rage-filled fight was a badass moment,

06:55especially to be able to knock Kaido down to earth.

06:58But it was a moment of shock to many.

07:00But unfortunately, it was just a fleeting moment of success.

07:03Luffy made a major miscalculation if he thought that just transforming to look like Kaido

07:07with a huge muscular body and an X-shaped scar would do any good.

07:11His greatest attack to date was equivalent to a belly rub against Kaido.

07:15Meanwhile, Kaido's single swing was enough to send Luffy flying across the battlefield.

07:20This fight was more of a reality check for Luffy

07:22to realize that just because he defeated a commander of another emperor

07:26does not mean he's on the same level as an emperor.

07:45After 900 plus episodes, we can finally witness the clash between the true legends of One Piece.

07:51The Pirate King versus his rival, Whitebeard.

07:54Or in other words, Ace's dad versus Ace's father.

07:58We have always known about Roger, and it was certainly a delight to finally see him unveiled

08:03with one of the best animations the industry has to offer.

08:06The clash between these legends was simply stunning, but also foreshadows the power levels yet to come.

08:13It was an amazing sight to see the younger versions of many legendary characters all at once,

08:17especially the fun all-out fight between this rivaling crew while they clearly enjoy each other's company.

08:23However, the highlight is certainly the bout between the captains, competing for the title of best mustache.

08:29The flashback arc has been one of the most entertaining flashback arcs in all of anime,

08:50and just when you thought it couldn't get any better, we are delivered with this phenomenal battle between two legends.

08:57The animation was just getting better and better, and this was the pinnacle to this flashback arc.

09:02Odin is the perfect example of a true samurai, a man of honor, a warrior, and a protector of his people.

09:09He fought with all of his might, despite dancing away five years of his life whilst Kaido was getting stronger,

09:15and yet he still had the upper hand.

09:17Even a thousand soldiers were not enough to stop this legendary samurai.

09:21He's the only one to leave a scar on Kaido, other than his tattoo artist, a permanent reminder of his existence.

09:28Had this battle not ended with a cheap shot, the four emperors would be the three emperors now.
