00:00Go on to the left side, left side.
00:02The left side, okay.
00:04Previously on Seven Little Jostas.
00:06Yes!
00:07We're ahead.
00:08The entire family is doing a scavenger hunt.
00:12Hurry up.
00:14We are all super competitive and us two do not like to lose.
00:18No.
00:18We're terrible losers.
00:20We are.
00:20We're great cheaters.
00:22I'll give you ten bucks if you do me a favor.
00:24All right.
00:24That white Mercedes, let him go after me.
00:27Dad's probably cheating.
00:28Yes.
00:29Hee-hee.
00:30Damn, dude, you're giving me my $10 back.
00:35What do you think of this place?
00:37We got to look in it.
00:39It's thick.
00:40Today, Bryce and I and, of course, my dad are going to look at a plot of land for a possible
00:47build of our home.
00:49So on this lot right here, here's reality.
00:52Before you swung the first hammer, put up the first piece of wood, you're $100,000 in.
00:57I believe it.
00:59That's not included in buying the lot.
01:00I think there's still more better out there.
01:04Keep looking.
01:06Tonight, I am having dinner with Alex and Emma.
01:08So I guess you've been real busy since you missed Emma's graduation.
01:11I guess you've been real busy.
01:14Not real busy.
01:14It's just, I mean...
01:16What's the deal?
01:16Like, why haven't you been around, like, us and the family?
01:19Within about 10 minutes of having dinner with them, I knew that it was not going to go
01:24how I was expecting.
01:26I'm not here to argue about that kind of stuff.
01:28This is just a catch-up.
01:32I just don't know where this whole thing started.
01:34I'll walk out.
01:35So I mean, what's the deal?
01:55Like, why haven't you been around, like, us and the family?
01:57Like, where have you been?
01:58So today, we're out here eating dinner with Anna just to hopefully see what's going on
02:04with her and mom and dad and just see if we can get to the root of the problem.
02:08I mean, it's not just one side.
02:10I mean, between mom and dad, it's stuff that they're apparently mad for us.
02:16And I mean, I get it.
02:17My thing is, like, why are you taking, like, all the anger out on me and then, like, Liz and Jonah?
02:21Like, if it's a problem towards mom and dad, why couldn't I just stay between mom and dad?
02:25Like, why are you aiming it towards us?
02:26I understand, like, I haven't came to certain important events.
02:32Y'all's graduation, and I understand that, and I am very sorry about that.
02:39And, yeah, am I going to live with regret of that?
02:42Yes.
02:43That's not on y'all.
02:45When Anna said she did regret not coming to our graduation, I mean, she, that was, like, the first time in, like, months that she has apologized, I guess, apologized to us.
02:54Just hearing it, that she regretted it, like, yeah, I hope that you did regret it, because it sucked that you weren't there for us.
03:03There was no communication with the family, and I know I could have just...
03:06I mean, like, you could have been the one to reach out to us, and you could have...
03:10And, no, it's not just the graduation.
03:12It's, like, you're missing, like, Leighton's early childhood.
03:13Like, you could still be around and be an aunt.
03:16Like, you could still come around, and we're more than one to patch things up with you.
03:19It's just, you need to be the one to start coming around more.
03:22And, yeah, I understand that.
03:23But Dad and I got into this pre-brew match, and that didn't end well.
03:27A lot of the hate and the disgruntledness and things that have gone on is from your actions.
03:34And you know, if it wasn't from your family, Anna, you would not be here.
03:37So is that why you came into her just to fuss at me?
03:40And it's not that easy after I get yelled at.
03:43Parents can come to my house and storm out and yell at me and be rude as...
03:48But I'm supposed to show up to my parents' house acting like nothing happened.
03:53Okay, that's between you and Dad.
03:54It's between Dad and I, but, like, all you guys live under Mom and Dad's roof.
03:59I definitely feel kind of in the middle of all this,
04:02because Anna not wanting to patch things up with my parents,
04:06because I guess she's angry and frustrated with what's going on with my parents.
04:12And it's definitely hard with that situation,
04:16and then us siblings having to deal with that.
04:18It's just definitely...
04:20It's just, yeah, tough.
04:21I mean, Emma and I want you around.
04:23I mean, you're still our sister at the end of the day.
04:25Like, we want you to come and start coming around.
04:26Yes, okay.
04:27And that...
04:28And I'm slowly getting...
04:30Like, it said yes to having dinner with y'all.
04:32Yeah, but what about the other siblings?
04:34I mean, yeah, like, the other siblings still, like,
04:35you're still their sister.
04:37You don't want to talk to your other siblings?
04:38With Elizabeth's situation,
04:41Elizabeth was out of an attitude and didn't really talk to me
04:44when I came to do the tree plant,
04:46and Mom was mad at me for taking the graduation gown,
04:50and barely talked to me.
04:52I don't...
04:53I mean, you were all kind of distant.
04:55Like, you didn't help us plant the tree at all.
04:56Like, it was me and Emma busting her ass.
04:58I had the wrong clothes on,
05:00and that was my fault
05:02for not looking at the weather that morning.
05:03Sheely?
05:04Alex, just pay attention, okay?
05:06All it's going to do is hit the tree.
05:08I'm not sure.
05:09Yeah, I guess she does.
05:10Oh, if you don't come with the sandals and short-cleaved t-shirt and shorts,
05:17do this.
05:19I guess my big thing at the end,
05:21or Emma and I suppose the big thing is,
05:22like, forget the graduation, forget the tree.
05:25My big thing is, like, why haven't you, like,
05:26just at least make an effort and start coming around
05:28to see not only us, but Leighton.
05:30Like, Leighton needs to see her aunt.
05:31Oh, she's done pretty big.
05:33Yeah, that's another thing that hurts me is not seeing Leighton.
05:35But her mother, Elizabeth,
05:38started getting mad at me
05:40because mom was getting mad at me,
05:42which that's been my whole life,
05:43is if mom's mad at me,
05:45Elizabeth's going to be mad at me.
05:46Is it hard to see Leighton grow up through social media?
05:49Yeah, that's hard.
05:51Is it hard not coming to y'all and talk to y'all,
05:53like, you know, about school, you know, about work, whatever?
05:55Yeah, it's hard.
05:56It's still hard to come around the family
05:58when I have a dad that is mad at me
06:01and walked out of my house like that
06:03and yelled at me like that.
06:03Yes, I get it.
06:06There's other siblings,
06:07but it would be different
06:08if, like, Elizabeth lived on her own still,
06:10Jonah lived on his own,
06:11and I came to see them.
06:13But that's y'all's house.
06:15No matter what,
06:15I'm going to want to be okay with that, too,
06:18if I'm walking up into his house.
06:20That's the hardest thing about all of this
06:25is all the siblings live under my parents' roof
06:27and I can't come see them
06:29because I got my parents there
06:30because that's my parents' house.
06:32And I'm not going to walk in there
06:34and not speak to them
06:35and do that, you know?
06:38I wish, so wish,
06:40that, like, another sibling had a house, you know?
06:43I mean, I guess my thing is that, like,
06:44why didn't you, like, try to, like,
06:47invite us out for lunch more after?
06:49So try and, like, talk to us.
06:50I could ask y'all the same thing.
06:54Why don't y'all have a phone?
06:56Not fair whatsoever for her to put that on me
06:59and Emma when she was the one
07:01that instigated this whole conflict.
07:02Like, that was not right whatsoever.
07:05This is always put on me.
07:07It's always looked out.
07:08I'm the bad person.
07:08I'm the bad person.
07:10Y'all have a phone.
07:11Y'all can text me.
07:12Y'all can talk to me.
07:14Y'all are always welcome to my house
07:15if y'all shoot me a text
07:16and be like, hey, you want to come to my house?
07:18Hey, can I come over?
07:20It's not always me coming to mom and dad's house.
07:24Like, it's not...
07:26Why is it always looked at as...
07:27I mean, I guess it's kind of hard for us
07:29to try and make that relationship
07:29if you're not willing to make it back towards us.
07:31I guess that's my big thing.
07:33But it's two-way.
07:34For something to work in a relationship,
07:37friendship, not anything,
07:38it's got to work two ways.
07:41It's not all put on me.
07:42Not look at me, the bad person.
07:47Nobody's coming to me.
07:48Nobody's calling me.
07:50Nobody's texting me.
07:51You can't say that y'all don't go to people's...
07:53Y'all don't go to siblings' houses
07:54because y'all went to Elizabeth's houses plenty of times.
07:56Mom went to Elizabeth's house plenty of times.
07:59I'm just trying to figure out a way, like,
08:00you and mom and dad can just bury the hatchet.
08:02Like, I mean, like, that's my big thing.
08:04And just forget all this and move on
08:05so we can all be a family again.
08:06Like, yes, we...
08:07I don't think...
08:08I understand that, too.
08:09I want that, too.
08:11But you can't forgive mom and dad
08:13and then us forgive you
08:15and then, oh, we should hang out.
08:16Dad can't forgive...
08:17Dad can't forgive...
08:17Dad can't forgive me either.
08:20Yelling and cussing at me
08:21and walking out of my house.
08:22Because of those things that you did
08:24and made him pissed off and...
08:25I mean, it's pretty understandable
08:26why he was pissed off.
08:27I mean...
08:28The underage drinking incident definitely upset me
08:31because Anna didn't take accountability
08:33for her actions for the incident
08:35and she's been separating herself from the family
08:38when we didn't even do anything to her.
08:40Why is it always a one-way sign?
08:43Are y'all shooting and texting and being like,
08:44hey, you want to come to dinner?
08:46Hey, do you want...
08:46I mean, it's kind of hard for us to reach this relationship.
08:48We're mad at you for the things you haven't been doing.
08:52I'm definitely upset
08:54of just the things she's been doing.
08:56Definitely not her coming to our graduation
08:59and then just not participating
09:01and other things that we were doing for other people
09:05like Poppy's tree.
09:07That was very upsetting and...
09:09Yeah.
09:10To end this conversation, I'll come around.
09:13I'm not doing this back-and-forth argument stuff.
09:16I love you guys, but...
09:18I'm not...
09:19I'm tired of this.
09:21To end this conversation, I'll come around.
09:23With me ending the conversation with, like,
09:25if you want me to come around, I'll come around,
09:27that's just because I was trying to end the conversation
09:29because it was just going in circles, going in circles,
09:32and what I didn't want is an argument like Dad and I had
09:34because when we're going in circles as a family,
09:36it doesn't end good.
09:37But I knew at the end of the conversation
09:39that I'm not going to win.
09:41So it's just better to say something
09:42than just be done.
09:47We all done, Edie.
09:49Mm-hmm.
09:49Yeah, we...
09:50We pay up front, so I'll pay up front.
09:53Okay, thanks.
09:54We didn't get, like, the solution that we came here to get.
09:57I mean, it was just nice at the end of the day
09:59that we could express our thoughts to Hannah.
10:01Like, we could...
10:02It's like she could hear our side of it
10:04and not just Mom and Dad's side of it.
10:09We're going to take a job home.
10:24Layton and I are having a mommy-daughter day.
10:26Ha-ha!
10:27Since Layton has started daycare,
10:29the day is that it's just Layton and I.
10:31I have been trying to find fun and creative ways,
10:35you know, to spending more time with her,
10:37doing some fun activities together
10:38to bring our relationship closer.
10:41This is Layton.
10:42Hello!
10:42Hi, I'm Kaylee.
10:43And that right there is Christina.
10:44She's the co-owner.
10:45I'm Elizabeth, or Liz.
10:46Nice to meet you.
10:47This is Layton.
10:47Nice to meet you.
10:47Welcome.
10:48Thank you.
10:49Hi!
10:49How old?
10:5011 months.
10:51Almost one.
10:52You're so precious.
10:53So thank you.
10:54She kind of woke up, fell asleep the last 10 minutes.
10:56Hey, she's like, where am I?
10:58Not the car nap, not the car nap.
10:59It's okay, yeah.
11:01So iStroll is a workout program primarily for moms.
11:04So we're really passionate about providing an outlet for moms
11:07where you can bring your kids with you and get a nice sweat in.
11:10So the first one we're going to do is called a banded jack.
11:13We're going to put it around our knees right here,
11:16and we're just going to do kind of like a jumping jack move.
11:18We'll do that for 50 seconds, and then we'll switch it up.
11:21So seeing these two moms, you know,
11:23they're pretty much stay-at-home moms,
11:25and this workout class is their business.
11:28And I would want to be a stay-at-home mom,
11:30but me, I feel like I need to work to provide for my daughter
11:35because I don't want him to work too much,
11:37too many jobs like my dad did,
11:39because my dad was there.
11:41He was a great dad,
11:42but there are some things he missed out on
11:44simply because he had to work.
11:46All right, everybody, ready?
11:47We will start our banded jacks in 3, 2, 1, start.
11:52You're in your own little world, huh?
12:01Definitely since having a C-section,
12:03certain movements kind of, I guess,
12:05turn the stomach like burpees a little.
12:08When it's working the abdominal muscles,
12:10when we're going up and down,
12:12you can feel it a little bit for sure,
12:13some twinges,
12:15because all the nerve endings are not fully back together
12:17from being cut open.
12:19All right, Amelia's going to start us off.
12:21She's going to grab a weight,
12:22pass it to your neighbor like a Russian twist.
12:25Good job, y'all.
12:27Okay, that was it.
12:29All right, when you're done passing them,
12:30you can take a break.
12:31Yay!
12:32Yay!
12:33We've never had a little person participate.
12:35Today was the first time.
12:37So at iStroll, we really pride ourselves
12:38on being able to modify our workouts
12:40for moms of any life stage.
12:42So whether it's pregnancy,
12:43whether you're dealing with injuries,
12:45especially after birth.
12:46So we really pride ourselves
12:47on being able to modify all of our exercises,
12:49and I think that applies to her, too.
12:51She starts kicking when you work up.
12:53Yeah, I think she's amazing.
12:55She likes to kick when I'm kicking her.
12:57Yes.
12:59I kid you not, my last two weeks,
13:01we thought she flipped,
13:02but it was her hiney up here
13:04in this rib cage.
13:05And at night, oh boy, did that hurt?
13:08Oh boy, oh yeah, heartburn.
13:10I had to sleep elevated.
13:12Oh, jeez.
13:13Doing these workouts with the moms,
13:14it was great because in some kind of a sense,
13:18we're all on the same path of being a mom.
13:20Some have more kids than others.
13:22Some are just about to start having their firstborn
13:25and they're with babies.
13:26And I was just really happy to see
13:28how comfortable Layton was in that environment.
13:31Is that a move?
13:32I appreciate you guys.
13:32I'm going to have to dip
13:33because she's starting to get really hot.
13:35Aw.
13:35It was so nice to meet you.
13:36And I'm going to definitely tell you
13:37my friends about this.
13:39We're going to be back.
13:39Awesome.
13:40Have y'all.
13:41Bye-bye.
13:41Say, let's go.
13:43She's so cute.
13:43Let's go.
13:45All right.
13:45I'm going.
13:46You know, between now and the next two days,
14:00we have to do this like twice a day.
14:03Really?
14:04So Alex and Emma were talking to Amber and I
14:06and telling us about how their talk went with Ana.
14:08My perception is they didn't make much progress.
14:12It didn't go very far.
14:13However, right now we're going to table this
14:15and we're going to focus and work on this fall festival
14:19that we are hosting this weekend at our home.
14:23This is going to be great.
14:24Can't wait.
14:25So before we close down the pool for the season,
14:29we want to enjoy one last pool day
14:31and do a little plank trivia before it becomes polar trivia.
14:38I came up with this idea.
14:39I saw this on social media.
14:40I'm scared I won't talk about this.
14:41Plank trivia.
14:43We start right here at the pool.
14:46Someone's got to stand on the end.
14:48That could be your job because I know
14:50you don't want to get water in your face.
14:51So you'll be the permanent anchor.
14:54Joan, ask us a question.
14:55You better stand.
14:55If you get it right.
14:58Step back.
14:59You step back.
14:59You go back to the end of the line.
15:01So how this game works is each person,
15:04you know, steps onto the plank.
15:06They have to answer a trivia question.
15:08If they get the question right the first time,
15:11they step off the plank, go to the back of the line,
15:14and the next person goes.
15:15If they get the question wrong,
15:17they have to take a step forward
15:19and they have to answer another question.
15:21Three wrong questions.
15:23You jump ship.
15:25You're wet.
15:26What's the name of the Greek god of the sea?
15:33Isn't Zeus lightning?
15:34Yes.
15:35Oh, I'll take a step on this one.
15:38The Greek god of the sea
15:39was that, like, Odessa's or?
15:43No.
15:44Poseidon.
15:47Who's the first U.S. president?
15:48Oh, George Washington.
15:49Yeah.
15:50I step off now, right?
15:51Yes.
15:52Easy.
15:53I did not like the feeling of being over the water
15:55on this plank of wood
15:56because it does flex a lot,
15:58and I did hear some creaking,
16:00so I was a little nervous.
16:01Who played the lead role in the 2019 movie Joker?
16:05I don't know.
16:08Don't say it.
16:09Which company is known
16:10for creating the humanoid robot named Asimo?
16:13I don't know.
16:15What do you call a person
16:16who prepares and serves coffee?
16:18She goes to Starbucks every week.
16:19You should know this.
16:21The, um...
16:22The waiter.
16:25Waitress.
16:26Yeah.
16:27Oh, barista.
16:28Love you.
16:32Love you.
16:33Bye.
16:38Who wrote the play Romeo and Juliet?
16:41So easy.
16:42Oh, my gosh.
16:44Ugh.
16:45Leonardo.
16:45Step up.
16:46I don't know.
16:47Oh, my God.
16:48I wrote this book, too.
16:48Is it, like, Shakespeare?
16:50Yeah.
16:51Good job.
16:51William Shakespeare?
16:53Hey.
16:54Which band released Abbey Road?
16:56Abbey Road?
16:58B-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b.
17:00Gunsy Roses?
17:01Nope.
17:02The Beatles.
17:04Who founded Microsoft?
17:08Uh...
17:09You might as well just jump in.
17:10I don't know.
17:11Who founded Microsoft?
17:13Bill Gates.
17:17Oh, God.
17:18Her head broke.
17:18Holy crap!
17:20Some of the questions,
17:21I guess you could say,
17:22were mom blonde moments.
17:24What is the largest organ
17:25in the human body?
17:26¿Penis?
17:28No.
17:29¿Es es el...
17:30...brain?
17:32No.
17:32¿O el cerebro?
17:33No.
17:34¿El cerebro?
17:34No.
18:08Ya, our toes are...
18:09¡Oh, Dios!
18:14I am standing right here.
18:17I wanted to slide in.
18:19I was very abruptly shoved in.
18:24I heard lovely Alex.
18:25Out of all people, she thought,
18:27I don't trust my children,
18:28I only trust Alex.
18:29And who?
18:30Because I'm sure he was the worst.
18:33It wouldn't have happened.
18:35All you have to do is get one right by default
18:37to get off the board.
18:38Go out to the end.
18:40You're on the end.
18:41Who painted the Mona Lisa?
18:43Leonardo da Vinci.
18:47Right.
18:49Thank God.
18:50This was a fun game, but I think it was more fun
18:52because of the fact I won and I didn't have to jump in the water.
18:57Thank God.
18:58This was a great way to, and a memorable way, to end the full season.
19:04Now we can clean up.
19:05Yes, I know, I'm leaking.
19:07Now we can clean up.
19:09Smell a little bit like swamp water.
19:11We can clean up and get ready for the fall fest.
19:15See, you really wanted to get in.
19:18All I really wanted to do was beat Emma.
19:20And I did that.
19:21I just went after Emma.
19:23I really can't believe I messed up on a Beatles song.
19:42You look like you want to talk all night.
19:43And I'm over here, like, throwing lungs on the floor.
19:47Fall festival is tomorrow.
19:48And after the fall festival, we have an exciting surprise for Bryce and Elizabeth.
19:52So when are we going to go take Bryce and Elizabeth over to show them that lot?
19:56I mean, we just got to get, find the right moment, the right time to...
20:00When they're both home for more.
20:01When they're both home, when you and I are both home.
20:04And Emma can watch the baby for a little bit.
20:07Several weeks ago, Amber and I came across an amazing deal
20:11on a home lot that was available.
20:13This building lot is in the same neighborhood as we are in and Bryce's mom and dad are in as well.
20:20You know, Elizabeth and Bryce definitely, I think, have the thoughts that they want to move farther away
20:27from both us and Bryce's parents.
20:31So we don't want them to feel pressured that they have to take this lot.
20:36We just want them to know that it's available if they would choose to build on it.
20:40But, you know, if not, we totally understand.
20:44So I think when we tell, when we offer the lot to Elizabeth and Bryce, you know, I don't,
20:51I think we need to make sure that it's not like we're forcing it.
20:54Like, this is what you have to do.
20:55This is a gift and it's an offer.
20:56I mean, there were different times in Trent and I's lives that both of our parents, you know,
21:05assisted us in different ways.
21:06And therefore, Trent and I want to be able to do the same.
21:09And something that we wanted to do is be able to assist them in, you know, purchasing their first home.
21:17It's not a gift hoping you guys do this.
21:19It's a gift that we would love for you to.
21:23If not, we understand.
21:25And there's no loss.
21:28You know, we would love for Elizabeth and Bryce and Layton to live nearby.
21:32But obviously, it is up to them.
21:34And, you know, we'll just wait and see what they decide.
21:37And we will support whatever they decide.
21:41Here.
21:42I love you.
21:43I love you.
21:43Oh, you came back for another one.
21:44I can tell.
21:45I know this.
21:46After 30 years.
21:47Yeah, if I do like this.
21:48Oh, God.
21:49That's the side.
21:50Oh, Lord.
21:51I'm so getting laid tonight.
21:54Turn off your light.
21:58Give me a night kiss.
22:13So who all is coming?
22:14We have Ryan and Sean and his family and their family.
22:18Yep.
22:19We have Emma's friend, Luz.
22:21We have Daisy.
22:21Six, seven.
22:22We have Heidi and Ella.
22:23Eight, nine.
22:24We have Bryce's parents.
22:27So we're having a fall gathering with friends and family.
22:30Jonah and Alex put black tablecloths across the island, these two, and, you know, to kind of kick
22:37off the season, the holiday season.
22:40Since things did not go well with Alex and Emma and Anna during their talk, we felt like
22:46it would be best to not invite Anna or inform Anna of the fall festival that we're hosting.
22:54Who's that?
22:55Daisy.
22:56So Daisy is a good LP friend of mine.
22:59And we met at a convention years ago in Florida.
23:02And we have been friends now going on for eight years.
23:05We got to set up games.
23:07So that's what...
23:08How many games will we play?
23:10Oh, we have...
23:11We have bobbing for apples.
23:13So we need the big...
23:14Oh, I gotta go get that tote.
23:16Get that.
23:16Bobbing for apples.
23:17Because last time we did that, that was so cold.
23:20Keep your hands to yourself.
23:23She gargled underwater.
23:27I'll never forget how cold the cranberry sauce was at Thanksgiving.
23:30Oh, yeah.
23:30God, I forgot about that.
23:32That was some of the coldest stuff I've been in.
23:34Awful.
23:35So last time Daisy came down for a holiday was Thanksgiving a couple years ago.
23:40And our last competition was us dressing up as these inflatable turkeys.
23:44And my dad thought, you know, to amp it up, we should wrestle in cranberry applesauce.
23:52My strategy of getting in was just like I wanted to win.
23:54And there was no rules.
23:56She was going down one way or the other.
23:58After we made, you know, Daisy do that, and especially Carol too, making them do these kind of events,
24:03that's why I selected them to be my friends.
24:05Because I knew they would always come back.
24:08Okay.
24:08Let's head out.
24:10And we will set up games.
24:12I have a question.
24:16What?
24:16What's the question?
24:17Do you know why we're filling this up the water?
24:19Bobbing for apples.
24:20We're bobbing for apples.
24:22Bobbing for apples.
24:23What is that?
24:24You never...
24:24Oh, my God.
24:25Oh, gosh, Christ.
24:26You got to bite it with your teeth.
24:27We're bobbing for apples.
24:28And see how many apples you can get.
24:29He's definitely never done a fall fest.
24:31I already know what game I'm not playing.
24:34I've never even heard of this game until we played it this year.
24:38Everybody's spitting their slobber in all that water.
24:41Yeah.
24:41I'm not putting my face in that.
24:47Hey.
24:49Mr. Chuffin.
24:51Oh, hello.
24:52Sorry.
24:53That ain't Mr. Chuck.
24:54Engine.
24:55That's popping GT.
24:57Layton is still sleeping good.
24:59Happy fall, y'all.
25:05Hi.
25:06What?
25:07We got some twins going on.
25:10We didn't even plan this.
25:12Do you know if Anna's showing up?
25:14We still haven't heard from her.
25:16So she doesn't ever come over.
25:18Ever.
25:19Florida.
25:21I see the stuff that she posts.
25:23See, she has this vlog, so I don't see nothing unless...
25:27Oh, I'll show you.
25:27I don't even know if I want to see.
25:30I was going to say, I don't even know if I want to see.
25:31My current relationship with Anna is non-existent, and that is simply just by her choice.
25:38She has not wanted to come around the family, do anything with the family.
25:43She doesn't call or check on y'all or...
25:46I haven't gotten a text from her in a long time.
25:48I got nothing from her.
25:52Anna has not reached out to me at any point asking how her niece is doing, how Layton's doing.
25:58My siblings and I are like, okay, if she's having a hard time of wanting to fix things with mom and dad, that's her thing.
26:05But if she really wanted to reach out and hang out with her siblings, she could message us.
26:10She could reach out to us.
26:13And we're not even doing that, so...
26:15But all of y'all are blocked.
26:17She's blocked my mom on social media, me, and then as far as like our locations, because we keep track of our locations.
26:26And I told Bryson, I told him like I'm blocking her off of locations because she doesn't need to know where we're at.
26:32For now, I'm just trying to put it out of my mind.
26:35Today we have our fall fest and we are having friends and family over and just have fun.
26:54I got your hair, don't worry.
26:55All right.
26:55Bobbing for apples would be a fall festival tradition because that is when apples are in season.
27:04But there's also a theory out there or a tradition out there where women would bob for apples and the first woman that could bite into an apple, either in the water or on the string, would be the next woman selected to marry.
27:20So I just have to take a bite.
27:23Take a bite.
27:23Yeah.
27:24Yeah, just take a bite.
27:25Come on.
27:26I did not do that.
27:32I was probably holding your hair.
27:35I was holding your hair.
27:36Oh, you cannot bob an apple.
27:38Oh, you and your arm.
27:43You're dead.
27:44I do not want to bob for apples.
27:46I am good.
27:47I am staying away from it.
27:49I don't want to have my fate lie on whether or not I'm good at bobbing for apples.
27:54So I'll just let time do its thing.
27:57So no one's getting married.
27:58There you go.
28:07How's everything?
28:09How's life?
28:10How's being a mom?
28:12It has been definitely an interesting year.
28:16It has been a long year.
28:19But I would have traded for the world.
28:20Yes.
28:21Layton has definitely been the biggest and best thing that's ever happened to me.
28:28She's definitely made me prioritize her over everything.
28:31Yeah.
28:31My life is Layton.
28:33My brain is Layton, Layton, Layton, Layton.
28:35And unfortunately, sometimes some texts I get from Daisy or Carol or friends of mine,
28:40I either open them and read them and forget to reply to them or I don't reply to them until
28:44like three days later.
28:46Or they just call me and they're like, hey, are you okay?
28:48And I'm like, yeah, why?
28:49Well, you opened a message, but you never replied.
28:52Sorry.
28:52Busy with Layton.
28:53She's almost one.
28:55And that's crazy.
28:56This time last year, I was super pregnant with her.
28:58That is so crazy that she's almost one.
29:00Time literally flies.
29:02Yeah.
29:02And I am so proud of you because, yes, it was unexpected.
29:06Just watching you be a mom has been like, oh, you're going to make me emotional.
29:09But watching you be a mom is like, I'm so proud of you.
29:12Hearing Daisy say all these sweet things, it makes me feel good because it makes me feel
29:16like I am doing something right in the end that other people are seeing.
29:21Because parenting is definitely a whole different world for sure.
29:26We have been through a lot in this last year.
29:28We sure have.
29:29So we are going to have a competition because we can't do anything Johnston way without
29:36a competition.
29:37So we are going to do hay bale stacking.
29:42Hay bale stacking works this way.
29:44We have two teams of four.
29:46You start off with two of the players at one end, the other two players at the other end.
29:53The two players at the end that have the hay bales, they must carry one hay bale.
29:59Per two people, carry it down, set it at the end where the other two people are.
30:03They have to do that five times, stack five hay bales.
30:07Then the two people at the end where those five hay bales are stacked must do the same thing.
30:12Carry one hay bale together and stack it at the opposite end until they stack five.
30:18The team that does it the quickest, gets all five stacked up, wins the game.
30:24Emma.
30:25It's not a...
30:26Talk about who left who out.
30:28Yeah, okay.
30:29Hi, Daisy.
30:30Wow.
30:31Don't worry, I'll be the last one.
30:33I told you!
30:34So each of our teams had to consist of four people, and we had to choose amongst all the guests.
30:40Eeny, meeny, miny, moe.
30:41I'm just going strictly on my shoes.
30:42Get your tiger by itself.
30:43It's not that I hadn't had this before.
30:45Ella.
30:46Ella.
30:46It might have been about 40 years ago.
30:48Okay, so you still need one more of us.
30:49I'm still need one more.
30:50You need to get a 12 percent.
30:52Heidi.
30:53Heidi.
30:54There is no strategy.
30:55I vowed to pick the worst team I could ever think of possible, because when we did pull
31:00out the win, I would feel twice as prideful, being that I didn't have a stacked team.
31:05We were the clear underdogs, but we persevered, and we won.
31:08Should we be nice?
31:09Hmm.
31:10No, no, no, no.
31:11Oh, my God, he's mouthing me nose, so Brett.
31:13I'm good, too, Brett.
31:14Yeah, Brett.
31:14Yeah, Brett.
31:15Yeah.
31:15Yeah.
31:16I chose to not be on Elizabeth's team, number one.
31:20Definitely with her being on my team during the scavenger hunt, I felt like I should
31:25switch it up, just so we don't get aggravated together.
31:29What are you talking about?
31:30Like, are we okay right now?
31:31No, because you don't know how to go through a car wash.
31:34Go!
31:35Number two, I wanted to be a competition between me and her.
31:41Well, he was a jerk, and I should have threw a hay bale at him.
31:48So, since this jerk wanted to be on the other side of the team, I chose his brother, who's
31:52practically like him physically.
31:54Me and Brett were working great as a team, and we were actually ahead of them.
31:58And then I selected Emma and Ella, because I'm like, they're relatively the same speed,
32:02and they work together great as a team, because I've seen them play sports.
32:05I said, we got this in the bag.
32:06Little did I know that these two little dits did not pay attention on how this race goes.
32:12We'll help you down.
32:13You two go back.
32:13Oh, no, you're going to grab the table.
32:16First of all, they didn't remember that they needed the bale of hay.
32:22They're just running.
32:23They just ran up the hill and was like, oh, we forgot the hay.
32:28Oh, my God.
32:31It's a big one, Heidi.
32:32Oh, they're going to win.
32:33You got it.
32:34You got it.
32:34You got it.
32:35There we go.
32:37You got to split.
32:39Oh, we got to keep it.
32:40We should split it.
32:42Aw.
32:43There you go.
32:44Yeah, they totally win.
32:45Yeah.
32:46And the winner is Daisy and Bryce's team.
32:50Woo!
32:54So I should have done a better job explaining to those two girls who I love so much on how a
33:00hay bale race works.
33:02Trent and I will be captain.
33:03I'm going to choose Alex.
33:06I got Ryan.
33:09Sean.
33:10Brett.
33:12No!
33:12No, no, no, no, no, no!
33:14I would say being average height is definitely a big advantage when it comes to hay bale stacking.
33:19Simply because of taller people can stack quicker and higher.
33:26Alyssa.
33:27Who's paying?
33:27He can't be.
33:28Mom, get Bryce.
33:29Mom, get Bryce.
33:31There's Bryce.
33:31Bryce.
33:32Look at me.
33:33Well, Jonah, I mean, Trent messed this all up.
33:36No, I did not.
33:37Yes, you did.
33:38So when Trent picks his team, I mean, it's clear he's cheating already.
33:41We were only supposed to have one tall person on our team.
33:45He had three.
33:48Ready?
33:49Go.
33:49Go.
33:52Y'all helping stack.
33:53We're just going to drop the ball.
33:55That one.
33:55Go on the bottom.
33:58Go, go, go, go.
33:59Go, go, go.
34:00Go, go, go.
34:02Go, go, go.
34:03I was like, yeah, we're going to get this.
34:06Go, go, go, go.
34:07Go, go, go.
34:08Go.
34:08¡Ana!
34:09¡Ana!
34:10¡Ana!
34:11¡Ana!
34:12¡Ana!
34:13¡Ana!
34:14¡Ana!
34:15Pero, él hagan tres tallos.
34:16Un engine en el aeropuerto con dos wings.
34:18¡Jer!
34:19¡Y!
34:20¡Y!
34:21¡Y!
34:22¡Y!
34:23¡Y!
34:25¡Y!
34:26¡Y!
34:27¡Y!
34:28¡Y!
34:29¡Y!
34:30¡Y!
34:31¡Y!
34:32¡Y!
34:33¡Y!
34:34¡Y!
34:56¡Oh, Dios!
34:57¡Oh, Dios!
34:58¡Oh, Dios!
34:59¡Oh, Dios!
35:00¡Oh, Dios!
35:01¡Oh, Dios!
35:02¡Oh, Dios!
35:03Combo ven, Trent!
35:04¡Oh!
35:05I've already been there done that, sorry.
35:06Me, too!
35:07Me, too.
35:08Amber?
35:09Trent ain't going to do it.
35:10Oh.
35:11OK, come on, Trent.
35:12Something tells me you're better at this.
35:15OK.
35:18So, Bryce and I have been looking at land options,
35:21you know, possibilities for us to be able to build a house on.
35:33Today, we are going to show Elizabeth and Bryce
35:37the plot of land that we purchased in our neighborhood.
35:40We have kept this purchase of land a secret from Bryce and Elizabeth
35:44and, of course, the rest of the family,
35:47and mainly because we're not sure how Bryce and Elizabeth are going to take it.
35:51But either way, we understand their feelings,
35:53whether they love it or they're unsure.
35:55I wanted to show you all this lot.
35:57Look right there, Bryce. What do you see right here?
35:59This path.
36:00I was going to say a path, I think.
36:01It's very...
36:02Deer trails.
36:03Deer trail already.
36:05My parents are taking us to go look at a lot,
36:08and I kind of just thought, like, hmm,
36:11we wouldn't be driving out here and just looking at this property
36:15for no reason at all.
36:17So almost to the front of my truck to right there.
36:21This is the width of this lot.
36:23We're either about to buy, we did buy,
36:25or you're about to give us an offer price for Bryce and I to buy.
36:28So we'll see.
36:31I see the pond out there.
36:32Ish.
36:33See the pond by there?
36:35So there's that pond.
36:36It's the cove that comes up in here.
36:38Dad and I were able to get a very good deal on this lot.
36:43When they said we own it,
36:45first thing that came to my mind was, like,
36:47I'm just really surprised that out of all the places that we looked,
36:49of course, the piece of property that comes the cheapest
36:52and the best deal happens to be in the same neighborhood as our parents,
36:55which is really funny, but doesn't shock me because that would just be our luck.
37:00So now we have a lot that it's a little over an acre and it's on water on a pond.
37:10And you and Bryce can build on and be close to both sets of grandparents,
37:17but be in your own place.
37:18I was just, like, thinking at first, I'm like,
37:22do we really want to, like, be in the same neighborhood with our parents, you know?
37:30Which is very true.
37:31So, I mean, yes, of course, I mean, yeah, they're our parents.
37:36We love them to death.
37:37But with them being super close, it'll still feel like, you know,
37:45I wouldn't say we're still living with them,
37:46but we're still, like, seeing them like we used to.
37:51But this is where I argue that we would be in our own home
37:55if we say yes and we build.
37:57It's a steep...
37:59It is steep.
37:59But when me and Mom walked this lot last month,
38:02I was telling her,
38:03y'all can have a really big front yard,
38:05but then just mulch up the backyard, leave some of your trees,
38:08but just have pine straw all the way to the water.
38:09Kind of like we did in Barnsville.
38:12So I definitely think with this structure of the lot,
38:14it will be a little more time-consuming
38:18because I'm sure the construction people are going to have to figure out
38:22how to make this piece of land work.
38:24So I think a lot of our money will just ultimately be dumped into
38:27clearing and grading the land
38:30because for us to start the foundation on our home,
38:32we have to have a clear surface, a clean surface to work with.
38:36If y'all want this lot,
38:37this is your down payment that we will give y'all towards your home.
38:40Yeah.
38:41You don't have to buy a piece of land.
38:42It's done.
38:43So all your money goes towards a home.
38:45So if y'all want it, it's definitely yours.
38:52The biggest advantage of taking the land in my dad's offer
38:56is the fact that we'd be saving money and not having to buy land.
39:00Our cons are pretty much we're simply staying in the same neighborhood as our parents.
39:05The land is still sloped,
39:08so we would have to put a lot of our construction loan into grading the land.
39:13So we wouldn't really know how much money we would end up out with in order to build the home.
39:18Get pre-approval for a construction loan on how much you guys can comfortably do.
39:23Then go to a builder and say,
39:25okay, these are some of the plans we like.
39:28This is our price rate.
39:31This is what we are approved for.
39:34So we're not sure that we're going to take this piece of property.
39:36I may feel a little pressured about saying no to Trent about the property
39:42because I don't want him to be upset with me for saying that.
39:47Is this lot something that you guys would want to build on
39:50and live for the next 15, 20 years?
39:58Next time on Seven Lil' Johnstons.
40:01All right, let's go shell some corn.
40:03I'm visiting Allie and her family on the farm,
40:05and today is the first day of me helping out with harvest.
40:08Oh, he's ready to unload.
40:09He's a little bit closer to me.
40:11This part, you have to concentrate,
40:14and it still is nerve-wracking,
40:16and you don't want to go too fast or too slow.
40:18Yeah, exactly. That's my fear.
40:21Hello.
40:22Hey, guys.
40:23How are you?
40:24Doing well. How are you?
40:25We are going to meet with a builder
40:28to give us estimates on, you know,
40:31the home that we would like to have.
40:32For a typical, I'm going to say,
40:35four-bedroom, two-bathroom house,
40:37how long does that typically take for you guys to build?
40:39Um, six to nine months.
40:41Six to nine months.
40:42With the time frame, me and her are a little pressured.
40:45It's important to me
40:47to have mine and her own space with Layton.
40:50So have you talked to Emma and Alex about their talk with Ana?
40:56They were quite stressed.
40:58It wasn't successful.
41:00That being said,
41:01I think you and I should try once more,
41:04and we'll meet at a neutral ground,
41:08like a coffee shop.
41:09My hope is that she shows up
41:11and she can not come in with a strong defense.
41:16Well, I'm just going to leave
41:16because if you're coming into a conversation like that,
41:20you're not there to make any peace whatsoever.
41:24You're not there to make any peace ever.
