00:00Golf has been described as a sport of fanatics, but these golfers are upping the game, braving
00:08single-digit temperatures as they competed in the Antarctic Clock Golf Championship Sunday.
00:15The tournament included both experienced golfers and first-timers, with each person using an
00:21adaptable club for both putting and chipping for consistency. Oliver Wang of China ultimately won
00:27it all, competing against people from the United States, Great Britain, Canada, South Africa,
00:33Brazil and Eritrea. But win or lose, those who competed said it was a tremendous experience.
00:39That was absolutely spectacular. A little bit difficult on the terrain, a little bit difficult
00:44to judge the distance. You gotta watch the speed because when you least expect it, it starts
00:49to run. On the short game, you gotta have your stuff together. And, yeah, one of the most
00:56amazing, spectacular sport events I've ever taken part in.
01:00Players are judged on number of strokes and how quickly they complete the course. Minutes
01:04are added to players' scores, with seconds used as tiebreakers. The fast pace is meant
01:09to keep players warm enough to fight through those extreme temperatures. If you want more
