00:00I want to know, what's romance like on set?
00:02Sometimes, not gonna name names.
00:05Who is that?
00:07Red flag.
00:08If you're always in beef with one of your friends.
00:13Red flag.
00:14That's such a red flag.
00:15Red flag, everybody.
00:17Welcome to Real Talk.
00:18I'm your host, Rachel, where it gets hot, spicy, and to the drama.
00:25Breaking the Ice has been doing so well, guys.
00:28Have you guys checked the numbers recently?
00:30Last I checked, I know it hit over 200 million, but I haven't checked recently.
00:34Have you been looking?
00:35Yeah, I check quite often.
00:38230 million.
00:39How did that change your life after receiving over 230 million views on a show?
00:45I would say that it had some impact on your personal life.
00:48Yeah, I mean, it's definitely opened up a lot of doors professionally in this industry.
00:53Like, I'm now getting, you know, looked at and auditions for, you know, paying Netflix,
01:00Hulu series.
01:01Like, you know, casting directors have definitely taken notice for that, which is awesome.
01:05On top of, like, the different, you know, brands that have reached out for collaborations.
01:10Also, it's opened up those avenues as well.
01:13Yeah, I mean, I haven't stopped working since Breaking the Ice.
01:16That's, I think, I've worked, I don't know the last time I had more than a few days off
01:20of work, which has been the biggest blessing in the world.
01:23You said people recognize you when you step outside.
01:26They start to recognize you, too.
01:27How does that feel to be recognized when you're just doing your everyday errands and just running
01:32around?
01:33It's crazy.
01:34It's really insane because it is one of those things you don't, I don't know, you don't
01:37think about.
01:38Because for us, we would just, we went to work and we did what we loved.
01:41And then whatever happened, happened.
01:43So it's crazy to think that people would recognize us.
01:45We got recognized together while we were filming for our new show.
01:50We were, like, grabbing coffee, like, one morning.
01:54And somebody, like, was she working?
01:56Did she work at the place?
01:56Yeah, she was the barista at this coffee shop that we went to.
01:59And we even got our coffee.
02:01And we walked out.
02:02And we were at the, like, streetlight to go back to our hotel.
02:05And she came right out.
02:06She's like, hi.
02:07Yeah.
02:07How are you, Caroline?
02:09Everybody loves Breaking Ice.
02:10On social media, they go crazy over all the scenes and all the interactions between you
02:15two.
02:16I think this next show will be the same.
02:20Yeah.
02:20I hope so.
02:21We had a lot of fun.
02:23Same vibe, same high energy, same passion put into it.
02:27A different storyline.
02:28How was, like, your overall experience just shooting for Breaking the Ice and overall with
02:32Real Short?
02:33I know it's changed your life so much.
02:34It opened up doors with different brands and different opportunities.
02:38But I'd love to know what was your experience overall just shooting it?
02:40I mean, phenomenal.
02:41I mean, every time working with Real Short is amazing and very professional and just
02:47flows really well.
02:48I think our entire cast had just a lot of fun.
02:51And we all genuinely enjoy each other as people.
02:54So that really helps, like, the whole process.
02:57And it was just a really fun time.
02:59And the boys got to play around.
03:01Yeah.
03:01And do what they have to do.
03:02Yeah.
03:03My whole, like, the first, like, four days of shooting it was us, like, at the hockey
03:08rink, like, doing all the hockey scenes.
03:10And all the guys that were playing the hockey player roles actually played hockey.
03:15So I remember we were sitting in the locker room, like, getting dressed.
03:18Oh, the locker room.
03:19And I played hockey for 15 years, which a lot of people don't know that.
03:23So it was very – it felt like I was getting ready, like, with – I was just with the
03:27guys going out to, you know, play hockey.
03:28That's, like, that's the best part of playing, you know, any sport, really.
03:32Like, it felt natural since it was something –
03:34Yeah, it felt like, yeah, it wasn't like we were acting or anything.
03:37It was just like, yeah, what's up, boys?
03:39Like, we were, you know, just fun working with them.
03:40They were all so cute doing that.
03:42They were all, like, out on the ring.
03:43They would be having so much fun and just playing around when the cameras weren't even
03:46rolling.
03:46And they were just, like, out there playing.
03:48And all the girls would be, like, taking our little videos of them wrapped up in our five
03:52blankets because we were in crop tops and an ice rink.
03:55Don't know if anybody knows about that in the show.
03:57But it looked really cute.
03:59But it was freezing.
04:00And we'd be taking videos of them.
04:02They were having so much fun.
04:03I think that energy definitely transferred into the series.
04:06Yeah.
04:06Because it was very organic, very – just a good storytelling.
04:10And I think the energy there was very embodied by what you said was going on on set.
04:15Yeah.
04:15We had a great, yeah, rapport with everyone on set.
04:19Everyone – all the other actors and actresses and the crew and the director, Vivian.
04:25Like, we all just meshed together so well.
04:27And we all were on the same page about accomplishing the same goal.
04:31There was not a lot of lollagagging.
04:33And, yeah.
04:34I don't know.
04:35Every real store project I ever work on always goes, like, so smoothly and done, like, so
04:41professionally.
04:42Well, that's really good to hear.
04:43And it's really good to hear also that you had a good time.
04:45And also that you got to play a role that was so natural to you.
04:48I know that you played hockey.
04:49But is there any other sports that you've played?
04:52Yeah.
04:52So I played hockey growing up.
04:53That was, like, my favorite sport growing up.
04:55But I – I mean, I was a – I played a lot of sports.
04:58But I played football.
04:59I played football in college.
05:01That was, like, my best sport.
05:03My sport that I was best at.
05:04I really enjoyed football.
05:05I wrestled.
05:07Wrestling, not –
05:08Not so much.
05:09Not so much.
05:10Cutting weight, all that.
05:10I wasn't a big fan of that.
05:12And then I played – I ran track.
05:14Oh, cool.
05:14Loved, loved running track.
05:16What about you?
05:16Track was, like, one sport that I was, like, not that great at.
05:19But I had so much fun, like, at the track meets and stuff.
05:22But, yeah, I loved just playing any sort of sports.
05:25So that role was definitely just natural for you to just be that.
05:28Well, I remember – I remember when they sent me the –
05:31Breakdown?
05:32The breakdown for it.
05:33Yeah.
05:33And I was, like, oh.
05:34I was, like –
05:34This is me.
05:35This is, like, me.
05:36This is meant to be.
05:37I was, like, I don't even have to act in this.
05:38I just get to play myself, essentially.
05:39Which is so fun.
05:41Yeah.
05:41It was so cool.
05:42And I literally hit it back.
05:43I'm, like, you're not going to find a single person in this town
05:45who's better at this role than me.
05:47Single person in this town.
05:48And that's why that show has 230 million views.
05:52Yep.
05:54It's really good to hear that you guys have a really positive experience
05:56with Rochert.
05:57I want to know, what was your favorite moments on set?
05:59Oh, my gosh.
05:59So many.
06:01I mean, I – sweet, sweet Ellison, who played Hayley in Breaking the Ice,
06:05loved her with my whole heart.
06:07She spent, like, hours, probably maybe even days.
06:09I don't even know how long we were learning that.
06:11We were learning this TikTok dance that we ended up posting.
06:14And very last day on set, on our lunch break, we went and we filmed this dance
06:19that we had been learning for so long.
06:21And she was so excited about.
06:22And was a really great teacher for.
06:24And so that was, like, probably one of my favorite things.
06:26Because we would just pull – any time we had a second, we'd, like, go to the side
06:28and we'd be like, okay.
06:30Like, learning this little dance together.
06:32It was, like, the nostalgia, too, of, like, wrapping up.
06:34Such a good set, such a good, like, acting.
06:37Yeah.
06:37It was great.
06:38It was really fun.
06:39I love TikTok dancing, even though I'm not the best at dancing.
06:42We did Brat Summer.
06:43Yeah.
06:44We did some TikTok dances.
06:52Yeah.
06:53Nicole did good.
06:54She taught us how to do it.
06:55You did so well.
06:55We spent so long learning them.
06:57I know you guys did a lot of videos on TikTok while doing Breaking Ice.
07:00Did you guys – any, like, cool comments or any, like, interesting conversations from
07:04fans or on the show?
07:06I mean, my thing is people always just ask me if Ellison's my actual daughter in real life.
07:11Like, I get that every day to this day.
07:13I will constantly get people asking if she's my real-life daughter, which, honestly, I'm
07:17flattered because she's so gorgeous and so perfect.
07:20And I'm, like – I feel, like, second-hand motherly to her.
07:24Like, I'm, like, so proud of everything she does.
07:26Those look like a family show.
07:27It's just crazy casting.
07:29But that's, I think, the biggest thing that – the first time somebody asked me that,
07:32I was kind of shocked because I was, like –
07:33Since you're a real daughter.
07:34I don't have a 10-year-old.
07:36I was, like, what?
07:38What about you, Seth?
07:39Do you get the same type of comments and the same type of questions?
07:41I get different comments and questions.
07:45I went on it to – okay.
07:47To be honest, the most common question I get asked is, are me and Nicole dating in real life?
07:57Yeah, that's –
07:58We're just –
07:59We're just –
08:00Social interactions are insane for breaking the ice.
08:05And it's so interesting to see how the show has been watched worldwide.
08:10There's so many different cities.
08:11There's so many fans all over watching you guys.
08:14Have you guys ever, like, interacted with anyone outside of, like, the United States or any other fans?
08:19Every day.
08:20I get such wonderful and supportive messages from people all over the world.
08:25I know Jakarta in Indonesia.
08:27That's where my biggest fan base is located.
08:30So, shout-out to Jakarta.
08:32Fun fact, actually, is that my mom graduated high school from Jakarta.
08:37Wow, so interesting.
08:38Yeah.
08:39Small world.
08:40But also, I know Sao Paulo, Mexico City, United Kingdom.
08:45They all are big fans of the show as well.
08:47So, I appreciate all their love and support.
08:50What about you, Nicole?
08:51Is there any fans you want to send a little shout-out?
08:53Yeah, well, I mean, same thing.
08:54I mean, trying to keep up with all of the messages has been just insane.
08:58It's impossible.
08:59You guys are so nice.
09:00We're so, we're, like, so thankful.
09:02It's, like, actually insane, like, trying to keep up.
09:05And we really, we do try to.
09:07I try to, like, see and interact as much as I can.
09:09I think my biggest fan base and the people who reach out the most are, I mean, I'm from Texas.
09:14So, a lot of people from San Antonio, a lot of people from Austin.
09:17Outside of the U.S., big in the Philippines and the U.K., a lot too, and Brazil.
09:22So, shout-out to everybody from all of those.
09:27It's been insane.
09:29Also, shout-out to Egypt.
09:30I got a message yesterday from someone from Cairo.
09:34And another fun fact, my mom graduated high school from Jakarta.
09:38But before she went to high school in Jakarta, she lived in Cairo for four years.
09:43So, that was actually really cool to see that kind of come full circle as well.
09:48And I really want to visit both of those countries, like, very, like, someday.
09:53Like, I really, really want to see that side of the world.
09:56Yeah.
09:56Hopefully one day.
09:57Yeah.
09:57Thank you for the support.
09:58Of course.
09:59I mean, right now you're being recognized here in L.A.
10:02When you're walking around and when you guys travel, I'm sure you're going to be recognized worldwide soon.
10:07And maybe you'll get a chance to meet some of your friends in Jakarta and outside in the Philippines.
10:10That would be amazing.
10:12I would love that.
10:13Yeah.
10:13It would be so great.
10:14So, they've been so supportive.
10:16They're, you know, it's, the fans are the reason the show has become what it's become.
10:21So.
10:21I'm just glad they loved it as much as they love filming it.
10:24Yeah.
10:24I'm glad, like, so blessed and honored that they loved it.
10:28Well, that's a good way to transition into some other questions I had in mind.
10:32I really want to get to know a little bit about your personal lives and who you guys are off set.
10:37Off set, camera personality.
10:38Let's go.
10:40What is the real Seth and Nicole like?
10:45And how is it different from what you play on set and who you are when you come to set?
10:49That's a good question.
10:50I mean, I think for me, I, like, I always try to find a piece of myself in my roles.
10:55Um, I don't know.
10:57I don't know how I'm really different.
10:59I think I'm, I'm just somebody, I'm very high energy.
11:02I'm very, like, to, like, see positive views on the world.
11:05I like to spin everything kind of positively, which I guess is a little different than my characters
11:08because they are going through so much, um, every day, all the time.
11:13So, yeah, I don't know.
11:14I feel like it's kind of me.
11:17It's kind of me.
11:18Who is that?
11:19Yeah, I am very different in real life than I am in most of my roles.
11:25Um, the hockey one was a little different, but most of the time when I'm playing these,
11:29you know, billionaires, they're these very, like, stoic, like, cold kind of, like, guys
11:37for the most part.
11:38Um, each character is, like, kind of a different shade of that.
11:41What adjectives would you use to describe yourself?
11:44I'm very playful.
11:45I'm very silly.
11:46I'm very goofy.
11:48The complete opposite, then.
11:49The complete opposite.
11:50That's it.
11:51So, sometimes, especially, I'm much better now, um, but, like, I'm still, like, really
11:59new to acting.
12:00So, I've gotten a lot better at, you know, learning more about, because that, one of the
12:05great parts about acting is you get to learn about these different, like, Nicole was saying,
12:08like, each role you're playing, that's essentially just, like, a version of yourself is, like, what
12:13it is, so I'm learning, you know, kind of what the cold, stoic version of myself is, because
12:18I'm not that in real life, like, at all.
12:21I'm very warm, so, like, friendly, like, I want to make sure everyone's, you know, comfortable.
12:26I never want anyone to, like, have a bad time around me, and that's why I love shooting with
12:31Nicole so much, because she's also, like, brings such a positive attitude, and it's so
12:35easy to work with.
12:35She's upbeat, high energy, and everything, so it really plays well with my playful goofiness.
12:41Would you guys say, like, the roles that you guys play help you kind of, like, search
12:46for who you are?
12:47Like you said, you're kind of tapping into those stoic, more, like, areas of your personality
12:53that you kind of usually don't levitate toward, that you don't present as, through those roles
12:58that you're playing of more, like, stoic billionaires?
13:00Yeah, I just learn, I learn more about myself every time I do, because there's different
13:04emotions, for sure, because in real life, we all get into a cycle of kind of, you're the
13:11same person, you know, all the time, and you kind of, when you're sad, you kind of go through
13:15the same, you know, emotions of sadness, and all that sort of things, unless, like, a certain
13:20specific situation calls for you to be a certain way, that doesn't typically happen too much,
13:24because it'll be outside your comfort zone, and actually...
13:26You get to channel those feelings that you don't explore on an everyday basis, through
13:30the different characters and roles that you play on the set.
13:33Yeah, like, for example, I'm not a jealous person, I'm, like, the most, least jealous
13:38person ever, I want everyone to do better, I don't ever get jealous of anyone.
13:42My character sometimes has to act very jealous and stuff, so it's been fun to kind of learn
13:48how to play, like, a jealous, like, person, and feel those feelings of, like, real jealousy.
13:53Do you think you have a better understanding of them, now that you've kind of, like, acted
13:57through them?
13:57Yeah, I definitely do, but that's, like, one of the great parts about acting, is you get,
14:02I've been able to learn, you know, these different, you know, sorts of thoughts and emotions that
14:07I normally don't have in real life.
14:09Yeah.
14:09I guess, Nicole, since kind of, like, you're bubbly, you can adapt, and kind of, like,
14:13this camouflage type of personality, what would you say would be, like, a really hard
14:17role, would be, like, opposite of really what you are?
14:19Well, my, the, because, I mean, like Seth was saying, there's just, like, certain things
14:23that are tough to get to.
14:25For me, it's, like, anger, any, like, like, that pure, like, seeing red anger is just not
14:31something I'm...
14:32I can see that, because it's the opposite of bubbly.
14:34Yeah, I've just, it's something I've never, I'm not, like, comfortable, like, getting there
14:38most of the time in my life.
14:39So, like, as I'm working on roles more, and a lot of these have at least one moment of
14:43just, like, pure anger.
14:46So, like, working on these has been really helpful for that, and seeing different ways
14:50of showcasing it, and trying to just dig into that, and, like, allowing yourself to
14:54kind of feel the range of emotions there.
14:57Yeah, I think that's pretty interesting, because, you know, like you said, you get
15:00to kind of channel that, those emotions, and kind of experience yourself in a way that
15:05you don't usually experience yourself in.
15:07So, we have a great idea of who you guys are on set, and who you guys are off set.
15:12I'd love to know what it's like, what's your dating life like?
15:19I know the fans want to know.
15:22Go ahead.
15:23Well, funny you ask that.
15:26Has it been too spicy as of late, because I've been working so much?
15:32Wait, are you both single?
15:34Yes.
15:35Maybe.
15:37Okay.
15:38Why, are you asking?
15:39Why?
15:40I'm asking because we're starting the conversation.
15:42Single's a very broad term, Rachel.
15:46We'll keep it mysterious.
15:47But what is it like?
15:48Give your fans a little sneak peek on what it's like dating Seth.
15:53I can be very picky, kind of.
15:56Or I'm very, not picky.
15:57I'm very, like, particular.
15:58So, you're picky, but not jealous.
16:00Not jealous.
16:02Okay.
16:02But I just don't like a lot of drama and stuff.
16:06So, really don't enjoy having drama.
16:10Having seven girls show up to a date?
16:12I don't enjoy showing up to a date and having their seven friends come and interrogate me.
16:16It's a bit dramatic.
16:18So, I worry about things like that.
16:21But, I don't know.
16:23It's, I don't know.
16:23It's something about this time of year in particular that I kind of...
16:27Re-evaluate.
16:28I like having...
16:29Your pickiness.
16:29It's the relationship.
16:30I like having...
16:31It's the nostalgia.
16:32I like having, you know, someone around.
16:34Yeah.
16:34It's nice.
16:35I like having someone to keep me company.
16:36And the tradition.
16:38Yeah.
16:38And the cute stuff.
16:39But, yeah, the dating life, yeah, the dating life, it's fun.
16:44Keep the drama on set.
16:46How about that?
16:46Yes.
16:47On set.
16:47Because our jobs are very dramatic.
16:50Wow.
16:50What about you, Nicole?
16:52Yeah, I mean, kind of similar in the sense that I'm very picky also.
16:56And I feel like we don't have very much time to date.
17:00We, so we barely have time to, like, see our friends and family who are the people who've
17:05been there before we started actively working in our career.
17:09So if you're going to spend what little free time you have with somebody, I feel like it's
17:13just, like, you just have to be, like, specific about who it's going to be.
17:16So, you know, and that's...
17:18Yeah.
17:18So you're a little picky too.
17:19I don't leave room for many dates.
17:20So you're being a little picky too right now with your dating and you're focusing more
17:24on your career.
17:25Yeah, absolutely.
17:26And it's very much like...
17:26Go with the flow.
17:27Yeah, not just running around dating a bunch of people.
17:31I don't...
17:32A lot of my friends still have full rosters of people.
17:34How?
17:35I don't know how people do that.
17:37Because usually, like, with me, I have a type.
17:39Yeah, fair.
17:40And sometimes it's a little hard to find that type.
17:43I mean, what's your type?
17:44It's just more about, like, who I...
17:46Like, if I click with somebody and if somebody fits into my, like, friends and family.
17:51Because I feel like...
17:52I don't know, being...
17:52So you focus more on, like, the connection.
17:54Yeah.
17:54The type.
17:55Yeah, exactly.
17:56Like, I mean, looking at, like, past exes and everything, they're all very different.
18:01But they do all have that...
18:04Yeah, so what's that type?
18:04Like, what is that?
18:06Someone who can, like, hold their own at social events.
18:08Because that's a big part of our jobs is going to events.
18:12And so it needs to be somebody who can be there for that and who can kind of hold their
18:16own in that regard.
18:18And just, yeah, somebody who's, like, kind and just, like, a kind heart is a big, big
18:24part of what I look for.
18:27You need someone that can keep up with the fun.
18:29Yeah, can keep up with the fun and who can also be, like, a little grounded at the same
18:32time.
18:32So it's a good balance.
18:33Yeah.
18:34Yeah.
18:35What about you, Seth?
18:35I like really sweet girls.
18:39I'm, like, very sweet, adorable girl.
18:42I don't, like...
18:44No mean girls.
18:45No mean girls.
18:47I have no time for that mean girl stuff.
18:50I hate being involved in, like, drama, which there's always so much drama.
18:55Like, oh my gosh.
18:57All right.
18:57What's a very sweet girl?
18:59Like, what's the sweetest thing a girl has done for you or said?
19:03Got him a...
19:03Brought me a...
19:04A massage gun.
19:06They brought me a massage gun because they know my back gets sore on set.
19:11Intentional gifting.
19:12Intentional gifting.
19:14No, it's, like, the little things.
19:15Like, when I'm, like, not expecting it.
19:18I don't know.
19:19There's just, like, a sweetness and an aura about certain girls that I really like.
19:25And then there's some girls that are very dramatic.
19:30Or not even dramatic, but they just, like...
19:32I think dramatic so much.
19:34Yeah.
19:34They just...
19:35They're mean girls, kind of, I guess, in a sense.
19:37And there's always something wrong.
19:40And they're always, like, in a fight with one of their friends.
19:42Or, like, blah, blah, blah.
19:43What's a mean girl to you?
19:45Like, what is...
19:45Can we define that?
19:46Someone who...
19:48Red flag.
19:49If you're always in beef with one of your friends.
19:54Red flag.
19:54That's such a red flag.
19:55Red flag, everybody.
19:56If you're beefing with your friend all the time, it's a red flag for Seth even.
20:01Yeah.
20:01It is so common that I will be talking to a girl.
20:05And she'll, like, mention...
20:06It'll be, like, when I first meet them, like, oh, yeah, this is my friend.
20:08And then five minutes later, like, yeah, I hate that.
20:12Blah, blah, blah.
20:12And I'm, like, nope.
20:13I'm done.
20:14Like, I'm not doing that.
20:15So I would be, like, very hard line about that.
20:18So because I don't want that being brought into my life because if I'm going to date someone, it will...
20:24It's going to...
20:24Their life becomes your life.
20:25And vice versa.
20:26Yeah.
20:27Yeah, so, well, also what you said, like, being somewhat independent and, you know, like, we go to events and stuff, like, I don't want to be, like, babysitting someone, I guess, or whatever.
20:38Like, I like someone who can, who's very outgoing, likes to go out and, you know, talk to people.
20:44And if I have to leave for, like, 10 minutes or whatever, like, they're going to be, like, fine and stuff.
20:49So that's also very important.
20:52But, yeah.
20:52Well, you have to for what you guys do in your careers, you know, just events and being able to socialize and network.
20:59I mean, I can see a little bit of why even just talking to you guys, like, the things that you guys like and your types.
21:05I want to know, like, what are your pet peeves when dating?
21:07Drama for him, seriously.
21:09Drama.
21:09We know he doesn't like drama.
21:12I don't want, I, yeah.
21:14My biggest pet peeve in the world with dating is somebody who doesn't try to get to know the important people in my life, which does happen.
21:23You know, there are some people who just live their own lives and don't try to, like, yeah, just, like, get to know anything about, like.
21:28Or, like, incorporate themselves with your daily life.
21:31My roommate, even.
21:32My best friend.
21:33Yeah.
21:34My, yeah, just, like, have a conversation with my parents.
21:37Talk to my dad.
21:38Like, do, like, that's a big pet peeve of mine is people who just don't try to get to know important people to me.
21:44Because I'm like, if they're important to me.
21:45Yeah, because it's your community.
21:46Yeah.
21:47And you want to bring that person into your community.
21:48I mean, that's, that's something that would definitely bother me, too.
21:51That's, yeah.
21:52That's number one.
21:53Seth, I know it's drama.
21:55But what else?
21:56What is one of your pet peeves?
21:57One of my pet peeves, someone who has no ambition in life, so who doesn't really have, like, a goal or anything to really, like, want to do, like, no passion, like, no real, like, hobbies or anything like that.
22:12Because I don't have, I have, like, a handful of things that I love and I always do them.
22:18And, like, without a doubt, like, no matter, things are going good and bad in my career or whatever, like, I always have these passions that I can always fall back on.
22:27And they, and I love doing them.
22:29So, I've dated, I've had dating experiences where they don't have that.
22:34And I'm, like, do something.
22:36Like, I want you to be, have something to be passionate about because I think it's, and I don't even care what it is.
22:41If you're passionate about knitting, like, it's always so cool when you see someone, like, doing something they really love or they're really passionate about.
22:48Watching someone's own is the best.
22:50Yes, yes, yes, yes.
22:51Like, for instance, Nicole loves acting, talking about acting, the whole craft of acting.
22:56So, watching her, like, light up when she talks about anything acting related is, like, so cool.
23:02That's so sweet.
23:04I think it's beautiful to see someone, like, passionate about something.
23:07Yeah.
23:08It doesn't even matter what it is.
23:09It's just that passion and that human emotion is, like, beautiful to witness.
23:12Yeah.
23:13So, Real Short is all about romance.
23:16I want to know, what's romance like on set?
23:19Is there a romance or?
23:21So, sometimes, not going to name names.
23:26But it gets spicy.
23:27It gets spicy.
23:29I know way too many stories of people that can't quite separate work and personal life like that.
23:39I know one person in particular,
23:41was stating on the show called.
23:45And, like, it started off good.
23:49And then, by the end of it, the whole show just went so bad.
23:55And this guy was literally, not even the girl, the guy was, like, crying.
24:02Literally crying because he had to kiss someone else on the set.
24:07And he was, like, having a full, like, breakdown.
24:10Wow.
24:11So, jealousy.
24:12And it happened that quick.
24:13Like, it was, like, day one.
24:15I think by, like, day four or whatever.
24:17Like, allegedly, we're really, like, canoodling.
24:23Is it easy to fall, like, in love with your, like, co-star or your lead?
24:29Most of the time, when you're at work, you know you're at work.
24:33And so, it's, like, you have, at least for me, I don't know.
24:36Like, you have, like, you have your people in a box of you're at work and you kind of leave that there.
24:41I think where it gets messy for a lot of people is when you hang out, like, in real life.
24:47And then that's kind of where I feel like boundaries can start to cross because it's not, like, the, oh, this is just at work versus.
24:55Because in the acting world, I do see a lot of, like, people that work together on set.
25:01They end up dating and the fans are always so interested in knowing if it's true or if it's acting.
25:07Which is also, like, part of the interestingness of it.
25:10But on set, you guys have experienced that it becomes a little difficult to separate.
25:13And that there's people that sometimes will get very emotional about certain things that just require acting.
25:20That it's just the job, yeah.
25:21Like, a kiss or something like that.
25:22I think it's just, I think it's really, really, especially for these vertical mobisode series.
25:27Like, I think it's so important to be able to differentiate when you're at work and when you're not.
25:33Because, like Seth was saying, it can get messy if you're, you can't differentiate.
25:39And it'll derail your entire show.
25:40Yeah.
25:41Yeah, and you want to keep the romance.
25:42And I feel like our shows are so romantic that, you know, it's kind of hard to separate those emotions that you're feeling while you're acting and you're on set.
25:50Whether it's a kiss or a sweet hug.
25:53And then, as you said, Nicole, it probably will get worse if you hang out after.
25:58And, you know, you don't, you don't, you can't separate that personal and work life.
26:01That's where it gets messy sometimes.
26:03Because my, like, number one thing I always want to make sure is my chemistry with the other lead actress is, like, great.
26:12Yeah.
26:12So I will go to crazy lengths to make sure.
26:15Because I want my shows.
26:16You have good standing.
26:17Yeah, we want, like, our shows to do well.
26:20Yeah.
26:20So, and then sometimes, like, it's happened to me earlier in my career where, like, on set, I was like, okay.
26:28And then I would hang out with them off set.
26:29I'm like, wait, like, some of these feelings are kind of, like.
26:32Transferring over.
26:32Transferring over a little bit.
26:33I'm like, oh, man.
26:34And then you're like, is this real?
26:35Is this from work?
26:36And then you're like, wait, is this real?
26:36Is this actually what I'm feeling?
26:38Yeah.
26:38So I was definitely, like, it took a while.
26:43I mean, every chemistry is different with every person.
26:45But I can definitely think of a couple instances where I found, like, thinking to myself, like, is this, like, I was like, I don't think I'm acting anymore.
26:56I think I'm, like, really, like, getting feelings for this person.
26:59And I guess that brings up a question.
27:02I mean, if you're dating on set and you're, like, a couple on set, how do you transfer that to, like, personal life?
27:07Like, do you start from step one after you guys already kissed in a scene or held hands?
27:13Are you now shy to hold hands again?
27:15How does that translate?
27:17I actually don't know.
27:18Have you ever dated your co-star or, like, anyone that you were on a show with?
27:23I've not, like, co-star, but somebody that I met on set have became just good friends with.
27:30And then just one of those things where as we were hanging out one day was, like, whoa, this is a little different.
27:36Like, this doesn't feel like friendship anymore.
27:38Yeah.
27:38And it just, but then it was a matter of both actors.
27:42When do we have time to see each other?
27:44So, you know, timeline-wise, I never really got a chance to, like, explore it, figure it out.
27:50I've had one instance where I started dating someone that I was on set with.
27:55And that was when I was very new to this game and learned a valuable lesson.
28:02Don't take your work home with you in that way because it can get messy.
28:07And especially, like, in this industry, like, I don't know.
28:10It was just a big lesson that I learned for sure because this is what these shows are.
28:15There's a lot of romantic things that get involved.
28:17So, you have to really know and understand that going into it.
28:21And when you're first new to it, it can be kind of difficult to separate.
28:26To separate, yeah.
28:29Well, thanks so much, Seth and Nicole, for coming today and telling us a little bit more of the new projects that you guys have in store and about your personal lives.
28:36We really loved having you guys.
28:38But before you guys go, we have a little tradition here at Real Talk.
28:41And I would love for you guys to take a Polaroid.
28:44Let me lipstick up.
