00:00Hey everyone, welcome back! Today we're visiting Fairmount National Park.
00:06And wow, the first thing you see when you arrive is the Ranger Village,
00:10with its cozy cabins, visitor center, and the big bear statue. From here, our adventure starts.
00:17So we decided to head out on the Ring Rock Trail first, and guess what?
00:21Not even five minutes in, we already spotted our first animal.
00:30The park has a whole range of hiking trails, from short, easy walks to more challenging climbs.
00:36No matter your level, there's a trail here for you. My absolute highlight? This giant waterfall!
00:43Just breathtaking. And then we came across a massive sequoia tree! Honestly, standing next to it
00:50makes you feel so tiny. A bit further on, there's this really wild rock formation. Super cool spot
00:57for photos. And from the lookout tower, you get this amazing view all across the valley.
01:05Of course, the park is also home to a ton of wildlife. We saw bears fishing by the river,
01:10an eagle soaring overhead, and even a small wolf pack. Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
01:19There are also information signs everywhere. Perfect if you want to learn something about
01:23nature along the way. At the end of the day, we set up camp down by the river. Just relaxing by the fire,
01:30listening to the sounds of nature. That's the perfect way to wrap up the trip.
01:34Fairmount National Park really surprised me. I'd recommend it to everyone. Oh, and by the way,
01:40they're actually hiring more park rangers right now. If you've ever wanted to work surrounded by nature,
01:46maybe this is your sign.
