01:15I would have loved inhabiting him.
01:20Pero es no.
01:21I've spent a long time creating a very different sort of Charles.
01:27Now he is quite unlike the man we saw before.
01:32For one thing, he's many years older.
01:34He's even older than me.
01:36He's in his 90s.
01:39Weak, vulnerable, exhausted, frail.
01:43His mind is fragmenting.
01:49And yet, there is still a great deal of the Charles Xavier,
01:54the professor that we've seen before, present in him.
01:57But the most important thing is, of course, is that he's dangerous.
02:00And we've never seen that before.
02:01There have been young X-Men in the past.
02:09I remember we met Jean Grey when she was a child.
02:14And she did some spectacular things then.
02:18But never as a dominant and significant character in the movie as she is in this.
02:24I cannot separate the character of X-23, Laura, from the actress Daphne Keane,
02:32who gives a performance of such concentration, intensity and power,
02:38and even at times humour, that is remarkable in my experience.
02:44Hugh and I enjoyed being on camera with her very, very much.
02:49Her commitment and dedication is stupendous.
02:52But we had much, much more time when the camera wasn't rolling,
02:57when the three of us were trapped inside that horrible old truck
03:01and in the Louisiana countryside where the temperatures were brutal.
03:06And she was an absolute delight.
03:12It would maybe amuse people and perhaps help them perceive something in the film
03:16to hear that we entertained ourselves with playing games, quizzes, word games.
03:23We sang songs continually.
03:27And Daphne sang to us and we sang to her.
03:32And we also talked about her future and her interest in being an actress.
03:38And she is a remarkable, remarkable young woman.
03:41But then she has remarkable parents.
03:48Well, I might even play some Johnny Cash.
03:51I would play Paul Simon, who is one of my heroes.
03:57I think, I think, certainly in the West, our greatest living songwriter.
04:05I'm a passionate friend of Rand...
04:07Well, yes, I know Randy Newman a little,
04:10but I love Randy Newman's work as well,
04:12particularly some of the early stuff.
04:15And I'm also fond of classical music and opera,
04:18and that would be my road music.
04:20But I also have to say, my wife is a singer,
04:24a wonderful singer, and with a new album out.
04:26So I would be listening to that as well.
04:35Unquestionably, it is the people that I've met.
04:38My first encounter was with Catalans.
04:42And I love being in Catalonia very, very much.
04:46But since then, I have traveled wider in Spain.
04:49The one area of Spain I have not yet seen is the Northwest.
04:55But I'm hearing enough about the Northwest
04:57to know that that's where we should go soon.
04:59I love you.
05:15Yeah.
05:15Gracias.
