McIlroy urges stars to 'step up' to support DP World Tour

Rory McIlroy believes the men's professional game is fractured and the DP World Tour needs its biggest stars.

00:00I think there's a wonderful heritage to this tour

00:04and I think with the fractured nature of the men's professional game at the minute

00:13this tour needs all of its stars to step up and play in the big events

00:19and I understand that I am one of those people

00:24and I want to do my utmost to help in whatever way that I can

00:28I feel quite a responsibility to do that

00:33and to try to make this tour as strong as it can possibly be

00:39so I think that's one part of it

00:42and then the other part is I enjoy it

00:45I enjoy the places that we play

00:49I enjoy the people that play on the tour

00:54I enjoy the people that work at the tour

00:55we've shared a lot of great moments and memories together
