00:55Devin, this team is still beat up, so someone's got to rise to the occasion because they are.
00:59Najee Marshall was the one who did that Saturday.

01:02A lot of injuries, scoring down.
01:04They've got to depend on the bench to provide a lot of those opportunities, and it was Najee's turn on Saturday night.
01:09Going against Washington brings a lot of downhill attacks, three-point shooting, playmaking.
01:16And with all these injuries, like I said, scoring down, somebody's got to step up.
01:19We've seen a 30-point game from Velo.
01:20We've seen a 30-point game from Najee.
01:22Who will it be tonight?
01:22I think Najee can give us a repeat performance.
01:25He's a really good stretch right now, but they need more consistency from the scoring standpoint.
01:28And he was also able to contribute in other ways.
01:30He had eight rebounds, and he had three steals in the game as well.
01:34And to the point earlier about the Mavericks and injuries, they're still without Anthony Davis and Derek Lively in skin.
01:40That matters because that's paint protection, and that, of course, is a big factor when Giannis Adetokounmpo rolls into town.
01:47Hey, they could have A.D., Lively, primetime Olajuwon, Patrick Ewing, Bill Russell back there.
01:52It's going to be a problem no matter what.
01:54What the Greek freak is doing is extraordinary.
01:57He's always been this way, but, guys, he's even taken it to a new level.
02:00Talking about scoring at the rim, I can't even wrap my brain around this.
02:04He's averaging 11 baskets a game made in the restricted area.
02:09He's giving you 22 points a night just in that little semicircle right there.
02:14So keeping him away from the basket is obviously a huge priority, but it's easier said than done.
02:20They're going to have to build a wall, build a fortress, take the air out of the ball, do everything they can.
02:24Five guys on the floor to stop that dude tonight.
02:27And before the game, head coach Jason Kidd said that they've got to be ready to take a hit when Giannis comes into the lane tonight.
02:34It's going to be a lot of work to try to slow him down.
02:36That's what Dallas does tonight, at least they hope, as the Mavericks take on the Bucs here on Mavs TV.

03:16And, Devin, I don't think they beat Washington without Brandon Williams engineering a fourth-quarter comeback.
03:21Yeah, he was handed early in the season with a hamstring, but he's worked his way back to 100%.
03:25His body of work speaks for itself when he gets consistent minutes.
03:29His superpower is speed, which I can speak to a lot, too.
03:32Puts a lot of pressure on the defense, even more so when you start to playmake along with scoring.
03:36But look for him to build on his momentum.
03:38They're going to need him to score and playmake consistently against the Bucs.

04:37Meanwhile, for Milwaukee, this is the ninth time in 11 games they've used this starting five.
04:43Ryan Rollins, A.J. Green, and a front line of Gary Trent, Giannis Adekunbo,
04:48and Miles Turner, of course, from Euless Trinity High School.
04:52Right now, though, it is time for a report on a big factor for Dallas on Saturday night.
04:57Moussa Cissé, and with more, here's Leslie McCaslin.

05:00Yeah, for Mavs fans watching, he put himself on the map.
05:03He brought the energy in both games.
05:06Five points, nine boards, and three blocked shots in the win at Washington.
05:09But he's been on the Mavs radar for a while.
05:12GM Terry Sullivan said after he was undrafted, he was one of their first calls.
05:16He has the length and athleticism they're looking for in a center and a 7-5 wingspan.
05:22So he was not surprised at all with Moussa's contributions this weekend.
05:26Have a feeling he will also be needed again without Lively and AD, guys.
05:30Yeah, you see some highlights in the game.
05:33And he's very popular amongst his teammates.
05:36Very encouraging, very supportive.
05:38Just saw a highlight of a couple of blocks.
05:40But the line for Moussa on Friday was 10 points and 8 boards.
05:44And the line on Saturday was 5 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
05:48Now having played 6 games for the young man from Guinea.
05:53Brings a lot to the table.
05:54When you're talking about shot blocking ability,
05:56just plays hard and brings a certain toughness to this defense
06:00how they've been playing so well.

09:17In the middle of the floor was Giannis.

09:20And Green has already missed a couple of threes.
