00:00The girl saw something terrifying through the window.
00:02She saw her blind grandmother watching TV.
00:05Just as she was about to raise her camera to capture it,
00:07the grandmother suddenly turned her head, as if sensing the gaze.
00:10A week ago, Ellie quit her job and returned to the small town.
00:13After her parents died in a car accident,
00:15she had no choice but to live with her only remaining relative.
00:18The grandmother seemed shocked by Ellie's arrival,
00:20but moments later she composed herself
00:22and warmly welcomed the granddaughter she hadn't seen in years.
00:25After unpacking her luggage,
00:27Ellie began familiarizing herself with the surroundings.
00:29Since she had moved to the city with her parents at a very young age,
00:32everything here felt completely unfamiliar.
00:34After crossing an old abandoned wooden bridge,
00:36Ellie met two young people her age at the dock.
00:38They greeted her enthusiastically.
00:40After all, most young people in such a remote town had already gone out to work.
00:43After hanging out with them for a while,
00:45Ellie said goodbye and continued exploring deeper into the forest.
00:48Soon Ellie found a giant tree in the middle of the road.
00:50It looked like it had been dead for a long time,
00:52and there were names carved all over its trunk.
00:54Ellie thought it was just a childish prank,
00:56so she didn't take it seriously and turned back home.
00:58Because of the sudden change in her sleeping environment,
01:01Ellie couldn't fall asleep and passed the time with puzzles.
01:03But then she heard strange noises coming from her grandmother's room.
01:06Out of curiosity, Ellie stepped out of her room.
01:08She quietly pressed her eye against the keyhole,
01:11and saw her grandmother chewing something by the bed.
01:13Before Ellie could make sense of it,
01:14the door suddenly swung open.
01:15The grandmother kept moving forward as if searching for something.
01:18Ellie was so scared she kept backing away.
01:20She held her breath not daring to make a sound.
01:22Fortunately the grandmother didn't notice and turned back inside.
01:24Recalling how she was caught peeking last time,
01:27Ellie grew even more suspicious of her blind grandmother.
01:29But she didn't know how to ask.
01:31That afternoon the two friends she met yesterday came to pick her up.
01:33After some laughter and games,
01:35Ellie finally vented her bottled up emotions.
01:37But then the drunk Sean started targeting a little boy.
01:39He teased the boy under the excuse of playing together.
01:42The girl next to him laughed hysterically.
01:44Ellie was completely stunned.
01:45She never thought her new friends would be like this.
01:47Even worse, Sean accidentally injured the boy.
01:49The three panicked and took the boy to the hospital entrance.
01:51To escape responsibility, Sean forced the boy to go in alone.
01:55Helplessly, Ellie got out to help the boy inside.
01:57Her silence made her an accomplice to the bullying.
01:59And at that moment she had no one to talk to.
02:01Late that night the injured boy returned home.
02:03When his mother asked what happened, he claimed he just fell.
02:06But his mother saw through the lie.
02:07Because she too had once been bullied.
02:09To help her son get revenge.
02:10She told him a secret.
02:11If you carve the bully's name on the big tree in the forest,
02:14a demon will appear to punish them.
02:15Since Ellie's face appeared on the bully's social media,
02:17the boy instinctively believed she was one of them.
02:19As the three names were carved,
02:21hands suddenly reached out behind Ellie as she slept.
02:23The next second she found herself back on the night of her parents' crash.
02:26As she crawled out of the wreck,
02:27she saw a bunny doll sitting in the middle of the road.
02:30It was her favorite childhood toy.
02:31As it slowly approached.
02:32Terrified, Ellie covered her eyes.
02:34But the bunny doll vanished.
02:35And a real rabbit appeared in its place.
02:37Ellie scrambled out of the house and ran into the depths of the forest.
02:40There she saw a coffin before her.
02:42Inside it lay Ellie herself.
02:43The next morning, the grandmother seemed to sense something.
02:49She tied red strings all around the yard,
02:51murmuring that it's back again.
02:52What exactly was sealed inside that name-carved tree?
02:55And what connection did the blind grandmother have with it?
