00:00Hello everyone and I have started playing badminton when I was 8 years old and I have
00:19won many All India ranking tournaments and national championship medals for my state
00:24Shattisgarh. I was under 15 national champion two times under 17 national champion two times
00:31under 19 national champion national games winner and I have also represented India in
00:37many prestigious events like South Asian Games where we have won gold and I have participated
00:43in Asian Games 2018 and have also won silver medal in mixed team championship at Commonwealth
00:49Games Birmingham. So yes, I am very happy to share and I am proud to represent Shattisgarh
00:56in India at such a big level.
00:58What do you think that who will be the next big player in India in Women's Shelter after
01:03Sanya Nahwal and PB Sindhu?
01:05This is a very funny question because you are asking me and the answer will be me obviously.
01:12But there are many shuttlers playing and many of the Indian women shuttlers are under top
01:1950 in the world rankings now. So I would say we cannot name any single player that who is
01:24going to be next after Sanya Nahwal and PB Sindhu. So we cannot name anyone but there are many
01:31potential players who are preparing well and doing hard work. So yes, the future is bright and yes.
01:422022 Commonwealth Games silver medal was a life changing event for me and it has helped me a lot in terms of mindset
01:52because when you represent India at such a high level, you get to see many international players who, I mean, you get to see them, you also get to practice with them.
02:02So this is a very big change and very motivating thing for a beginner like me. So yes, it has helped me a lot and it has given me a lot of confidence as well.
02:15For 2028 LA Olympics, first of all, I would like I would want to qualify for it and for qualifying we have to be under top 16 in the BWF rank.
02:26So my first aim is to qualify and then to win a gold medal for my country. Yes.
02:32For youngsters, I'd like to say that discipline and consistency is what matters the most. There's no shortcut.
02:41If you want to achieve something, you have to work hard. So you can escape that part. And yes, keep trying, keep working hard. And if you are consistent, you are definitely going to succeed in your life.
02:54Yes, there are many youngsters who are doing well in badminton from Chattisgarh. And there are many good shuttlers in Raipur and other cities.
03:06So yeah, we cannot, as I said, there are many and there's Ishan Bhatnagar, who is doing well in doubles and mixed doubles event. And there are many more. So yes, Chattisgarh is now into the right track. And we are definitely going to make Chattisgarh proud.
03:24Yes, I know what you're trying to say. And I would like to congratulate Indian women team for winning the World Cups. And the other daughters, I mean, my sisters are doing very well. And the, I'd like to say that, yes, we can do this. And we are not less than boys.
