A 34-year-old unemployed local man was shot dead at a petrol station in Klang late Friday (Nov 7) night.

Selangor police chief, Commissioner Datuk Shazeli Kahar, said the incident occurred at around 11.13pm.

00:16According to police, the South Klang District Police Control Centre received a report from
00:20the public about gunfire at the petrol station.
00:24Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim, a 34-year-old local man, was unemployed.
00:31Commissioner Shazeli said the suspect is believed to have fired several shots toward the front
00:35of a car, hitting the victim in the upper body.
00:38The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for Murder.
00:44Commissioner Shazeli added that police are still working to determine the motive behind
00:49the shooting.
00:50He urged anyone who witnessed the incident or has information related to the case to come
00:55forward and assist in the investigation.
