00:00Can you tell me a bit more about the animated flashbacks that you had in Episode 5?

00:04Animated flashbacks? What do you mean? What are you talking about?

00:07No, I'm just kidding.

00:08So in one of the episodes, there's a scene where everyone in the little group that is traveling with Geralt tells their origin story.

00:16They go back to their beginnings and they did this lovely thing with my character, with Regis,

00:22as they decided to do it as a small sort of little short animated film.

00:26And I think it's really kind of cool because nobody else has one.

00:33And that it's really effective storytelling.

00:35Was that ever planned as live action as well? Or was it just...

00:39When I first read it, I thought it was live action.

00:42And then I was here for a while.

00:45And I don't know, maybe four or five weeks in, they came to me and said,

00:48hey, we had this idea that we want to do it as an animated thing.

00:51And I was like, oh, that's cool.

00:52It reminded me of the other movies, the animated movies of The Witcher on Netflix.

00:56Of course, there you go. Right, right.

00:58What are they called?

00:59It's not Blood Origin. Blood Origin is the other live action one.

01:03It's Sirens of the Deep and the other one escapes me.

01:06Yeah, but it's good. It kind of relates to those things.

01:08It's really cool.
